for me Kalou was a useful player who gave everything! but it got to a point where he just hasn't developed at all really since joining the club, and is getting left behind by lot of other talent in the squad and talent available for us to buy also. He was a decent and useful player to have nothing more nothing less.

haha! Torres movement and runs are fantastic he doesn't need blistering pace to get away from defenders, Torres is still very quick and once the ball is played through to him not many defenders are able to catch him, he just needs more players on his wavelength and to put the ball through to him early, if he has Hazard and Mata doing that for him next season plus maybe a Modric or Marin then he will certainly score plenty of goals

one memory i will always have of Kalou is from the 09/10 season, a few hours before Chelsea played Stoke at the bridge! i was saying to my dad how useless Kalou was, he would normally agree with me, but that day he decided to try to wind me up and say that Kalou was a fantastic player and one of the best in Europe ect, he then went on to say that Kalou would shut me up and score a hattrick against Stoke! So i told him to put his money where his mouth is, I knew he wouldn't back down and i was right as he pulled out £50 and put it on the table! i just started laughing and got my £50 out and the bet was on i thought it was going to be the easiest £50 i ever earned! so we sat down to watch the game and what happened Kalou goes and bangs in a hattrick! Unbelievable! i was speechless, and learned my lesson to never underestimate Kalou! anyway good luck Kalou! great servant to the club. :fainthv9:

My guess is Luiz, Mata, Sturridge, Romeu, Mceachran and Bertrand will all go to the Olympics so we wont be seeing them in Pre-Season! which is annoying! which also means Mata would most likely miss the Community Shield final as well!

i really dont get why people cant see that we desperately need a Modric type midfielder more than any other position!!! The reason why we have to park the bus against top teams is because we dont have a midfielder who can sit in front of the back 4, get the ball from the defenders then pick out passes to the front four and basically control games from midfield! we are crying out for a Modric in our team! Lamps and Mikel can always do a job when it comes to parking the bus but when it comes to playing attacking football we would get ripped open on counter attacks with those two their because we wouldn't have that control in midfield that Modric will bring. we would keep so much possession with him and it will benifit the likes of Mata and Hazard so much as Modric is the type of player who can give them the ball nice and early and in space so they can do their thing! Modric is a must in our team! and if you cant see that then i dont know what to say.

Lukaku Ferreira Mceachran Sturridge Cahill Hutchinson Benayoun? Bertrand Piazon Chalobah Kakuta De bruyne Marin Hazard With Romeu and Luiz going to the Olympics and possibly Lampard as well. We can make a decent team at the start of Pre Season. Turnbull Ferreira-Ivanovic-Cahill-Bertrand Mikel-Lampard/De Bruyne Ramires-Hazard-Marin Sturridge With the likes of Lukaku, Mceachran, Kakuta and De Bruyne playing big parts in Pre-season also.

Would be a very very good signing! I was quite shocked as i just realized he is still only 22! i assumed he was around 24/25 years old as he has been around for so long! At 22 years old he has so much room to develop and improve his game, with his prime years still ahead of him! I would rather us sign him now rather than signing him when he is around 28/29 years old with his best years behind him! which we will probably end up doing!

Fair enough, I would love us to sign Cabaye im also a fan of his, but for me Martinez or Modric would be the perfect players to play that double pivot with Mikel, of course both are highly unlikely to be signed by us but Martinez has everything to play that role, very good ball winner, strong, good in the air, reads the game very well, very tidy on the ball and can pick out a pass. He is still very young and will only get better. But Cabaye is a much more likely signing and cheaper. So if we do sign him i will be happy, but it would be nice if the club actually try and sign Modric or Martinez first then if that doesn't work out then bring in Cabaye.
