we should just bid between 25-30 mil and we could get him but will Porto sell Hulk and Moutinho to us? we may have to throw in someone like Meireles or Essien.

good luck to Modric! he had his chance to come here and he blew it! he will now never get a PL winners medal! i hope he does well at Madrid but i can see Barca dominating Spain next season!

his form has been dreadful since coming back from injury, but now that he is having a break, then a good bit of pre-season under his belt he could easily get back to his best.

yeah he is an unbelievable talent, his diving is embarrassing but i don't think it would be to difficult to take that out of his game.

its a done deal. They could play like that with Ozil out wide which i doubt they will, which would then leave Di Maria out the team and Kaka in no mans land. If we miss out on Hulk then Di Maria should be high on our list.

It's pretty convenient that in a week or so there are going to be some very talented Brazilians all turning up in London for a while, Hulk, Neymar, Ganso, Lucas, Oscar and Pato, seems like a good time for Chelsea to get some business done! #TappingUp

so now that Modric is off to Madrid they will likely play with Alonso - Modric in the double pivot, with Sahin and Khedira on the bench, i dont know about anyone else but i would love to see Khedira at Chelsea! i think he is so underrated and such a quality player, Mikel - Khedira in the double pivot would be amazing imo. But thats if we miss out on Moutinho who would now be my 1st choice.

I doubt Moutinho would prefer Tottenham over us! We can offer him CL football, the opportunity to actually challenge for trophies and of course more money!

probably neither of them will really be 2nd choice! we have so many games to play next season, there will be so much rotating, so both could end up playing a similar amount of games.

That's what I'm thinking! They probably want to force him to see out his contract in the hope that Arsenal have an amazing season and thus convince RVP to stay! Its a risk and a pretty stupid one if they do it!

My word! Are you serious??? Ever since Cahill signed he has been 3rd choice behind Luiz and Terry! Its not about predicting the line up its more to do with knowing my team!!! You can think all you want that Cahill and Terry will be first choice but the truth is Luiz is ahead of Cahill in the pecking order whether you like it or not! Cahill is class and will get plenty of games as JT is getting on a bit! But when everyone of fully fit you can almost guarantee Luiz and Terry will start!

why are you taking the term 'back up' so literal? Cahill is 3rd choice CB! which means when Terry and Luiz are both fully fit they will play ahead of Cahill. Simple.

the reason why he hasn't been so prolific in the past is because he played as a number 10! ever since Arsenal played him as the main striker he hasn't stopped scoring! He is class! and would make Juventus/Man City serious serious contenders in the CL.

Really? There is nothing special about Arsenal's midfield RVP is just a quality striker.
