Legend, damn i miss him so much... he did mention the big characters in the Chelsea dressing room and how they were all leaders, we can all see the big difference then and now. I wonder who will take the mantle when Terry eventually retires ? For me that´s the kind of character that defined Chelsea for many years and made us so successful, a team with fighters and winners, never say die attitude, great resilience and passion. I want that feeling back so bad, we all do. Thanks for the link mate, cheers and all the best

Willian is on Champions League team of the week again, also a mention for Cahill: http://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/news/newsid=2310396.html#uefa+champions+league+team+weekCongrats to both. also, Willian´s free kick in contention for goal of the week again, 2 matchdays running, he´s on fire : http://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/goal-of-the-week/index.html, many great goals to choose from, but Willian has got my vote again. Anyway, Messi is leading the poll by a land slide, typical Messi bandwagon at his fullest, his goal was good no doubt, but not better than Willian´s at least, Suarez´s volley was much better than Messi´s goal, the one Messi scored against Bayern last season was clearly much better, it´s simply because it´s Messi, all wet their pants when he scores, still yet to score against us tough lol Cheers

I still can´t understand why we bought Papy Djilobodji, just bad summer transfers... My idea of getting Stones was to replace Terry eventually, but of course i want him to retire at Chelsea i agree with your transfers, i would like to see a future backline of Cahill, Stones, Zouma interchanging at CB and Baba, Azpi interchanging with another fullback , maybe Ivan´s replacement; Wanyama or Naingolan to replace Mikel; Aubameyang or Griezmann to replace Falcao; Teixeira to replace Oscar maybe. One can dream, but in reality it will costs us a lot to get these players, only if we sell some players and try to balance the books, but it won´t be easy and most of these tranfers will take place in the summer, maybe. This january the one player i would go for is Stones, but Everton and Martinez are too stubborn to sell and we might have to pay over the odds but we won´t be held to ransom and maybe bring in Teixeira too as a bonus, why this January? because in the summer there will a lot of big clubs after Teixeira, and we might just miss out on him if we don´t act quick. We´ll see what happens in the transfer market. Cheers

This guy is simply on fire this season, i would like to see him with us playing alongside Willian and Hazard, can you imagine the horror for defenders ? hehe Chelsea please make it happen, but for 30 million?? hmm, i´m not sure we will pay that amount, it´s the same we paid for Willian, but now it´s starting to pay off. We´ll see what happens, one thing is certain, Teixeira will be off to a big club very soon with the way he´s playing. My dream transfers would be: Stones, Teixeira and Griezmann but who would make way for them?

Try to think positive mate, as much as it costs you to do it, the team will need all of our support and posite vibe during these next weeks Cheers and keep the good faith. KTBFFH -
Willian is on a different class right now, great season he´s having, immense work horse, wonderful player, he´s got my vote for Chelsea player of the year and if he keeps up this free kick form he will surpass Zola´s tally of 14 free kicks for Chelsea very soon, long may it continue. Good luck Willian, keep up the great work and i hope you stay with us many years and become a club legend, he definetely deserves a new and better contract, he has earned it Cheers

UCL qualification - permutations and combinations
Johnnyeye replied to BlueLion.'s topic in Chelsea Articles
It´s just typical that it happens to us, i keep thinking about our game away to Porto where we were denied a penalty at the end, and if we drew we would have qualified already and also Kiev away, where we should have won, so many chances wasted and another penalty denied, if we won that match too we would have qualified by now, typical, unlucky as always this is only to add more drama to what is an already troubled season. Porto usually is reliable at home and to the job, but they farked it up big time, even a draw would have been suficcient for them to qualify and since i´m portuguese, i for one would have liked for both of us to qualify before matchday 5 started, minding we would win in Israel and Porto won or drew with Kiev, then deciding who would take top spot in the final game between us and Porto. Now it all changes, i don´t care about Porto, all i want is for Chelsea to win the farking game and qualify in 1st place, i´m not even thinking about a draw, don´t risk it, go for the kill, just to the job, win and garantee qualification, because you just know Kiev will win their match, so no bullsh*t from us please, no more excuses. I have faith in the team and manager, i think they will do what is required at home, i really hope for the sake of my heart. Cheers on a side note, i hope that Terry and Ramires injuries aren´t too serious and they recover well, too many important games coming up. -
You can thank Porto for that lol never expected them to lose to Kiev, expect them to play the game of their lives against us, just like Newcastle usually do, you can just feel it, typical, i just hope the team is focused and ready when the time comes and do their job on Porto and win to avoid embarrassment.
-
Let's all hope that the team shows that they mean business and win to top the group and qualify. Let's hope for the best and with home support, i think the team can do it and give the fans and everyone associated with Chelsea more reason to cheer. KTBFFH

like i said to another member here, and i made a mistake, after checking again, the scenario is: if we draw against Porto and Dynamo win their game, we will all be tied on points and Porto will take top spot because of head to head against us and we will qualify in 2nd because of better head to head and goal difference against Dynamo. Better scenario for us is of course a win against Porto and we take top spot, that's all there is to it really. Cheers
-
2011/2012 season scenario all over again, if it means we will win the damn cup again i will take it lol , but seriously now, it's still in our own hands, if the team farks this up, they only have themselves to blame really, all this could have been avoided if we had won in Kiev, all those wasted chances, just typical. Damn, it's never easy for Chelsea is it? always twists and drama until the end. The team nerve and resilence is being put to the test by football Gods really. Cheers
-
Typical, just typical, fark off Porto, we will have to deal with last day drama fark. Please don't fark this up Chelsea, please.
-
No, if we draw with Porto and Dynamo beat Maccabi, we will go trough along with Dynamo, because of our head to head record against Dynamo, we will be tied on points, but we can't risk it, we have to win the last game to be certain, we can't take anymore chances. Cheers

Willian has won goal of the week in matchday 4 of the Champions League Congrats. http://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/goal-of-the-week/index.html

Yes i meant the team, manager, backroom staff and us fans too, i am backing the team, look i´m not trying to sound negative or something, i´m just humble and realistic, i said that they can´t be overconfident and take maccabi-tel-aviv for granted, just concentrate on finishing the job, nothing else, i´m not saying the fans can´t be confident or back the team, that´s the most important thing and the fans that go to games know it better than i do, but bearing in mind what has been happening since the season started, i´m not taking any game for granted and the team has to do their job on the pitch and end this bad moment with results, it´s all on them, they´re the ones playing. Cheers

No one answered my question, anyway i watched the extended highlights and i must say we should have trashed Norwich, history of our season so far, poor finishing has been costing us, ok it was 1-0, but It can get better and i was very delighted with the clean sheet and overall performance of the team, they looked organized, lively and created good chances to score, just need to put most of them away, Costa should have had a hattrick, been a while since he scored, but it´s good to see him scoring again and a very well taken goal at that, it will be good for his confidence and let´s hope he stays out of trouble in the future and focuses on his scoring, may it continue. Cheers
-
we can´t get cocky, there is no reason for us to be cocky minding the season so far, we have to do a professional job and win, no excuses, but most importantly don´t underestimate the opponent, remember that in the Champions League we can´t take no one for granted. Cheers.
-
i agree, clearly no walk in the park, so no slip ups please, the team needs to be focused and ready, we need to see off this team and garantee qualification before the final group match, then it will decide who takes top spot. Goodluck to the team and hope we get the 3 points needed, no more final day drama, that´s all i ask for, cheers and let´s keep the momentum.

Hi there, couldn´t watch the game today, so much to do, just got home, great to know we´ve won, even if it was only 1-0, classic Mourinho result, it´s a first step to getting back on track, we´ll see in the next matches how it goes. How did the team play? any improvements? which player or players stood out more today? any feedback from you guys would be appreciated. Great to have league football resume again. Cheers mates. On a side note, today´s results were crazy, Arsenal losing 2-1 to West Brom, Real Madrid getting trashed at home by Barcelona, Manchester City getting trashed by Liverpool at home hehe, only thing missing was United dropping points. All in all a good weekend already Leicester City are the league leaders by 1 point, who would have predicted that at the start of the season? damn, Premier League is too unpredictable. Awesome job by Ranieri and his team, great season Leicester is having, from battling relegation last season to being 1st in the league by the end of November this season, really impressive, they will qualify for Europe next season for sure if they keep up this form, Vardy is having the season of his life, best candidate for PFA player of the year so far, in my opinion. I´m going to watch the derby cup match between Sporting and Benfica, great match it will be. Cheers

Martinez is a karnt, expect him to eventually sell Stones to United or others clubs just out of spite for Chelsea
