this team is a joke, 15-16 all over again
-
by reading comments here it seems like we are losing, i understand the rants, the team is not playing well, but i ill take this lead at HT
-
He should have but Conte was stubborn at least now Conte knows what to do, hopefully
-
should have played there against Palace
-
wow Atletico just drew with Qarabag 0-0, can we seize this huge chance?
-
Couldn't watch the game due to time difference as i am currently in Asia. i just came to check the result and to my big shock we lost to Palace again, and we lost Moses to injury, what is it with us making shit teams look like world beaters? specially a Palace team that had 0 points and 0 goals going in to this game, amazing isn't it? by reading comments here it appears we were that bad, im not going to comment further, such a shame we couldn't beat this lot, so this must mean Palace season starts now and we go back to square one again. Not going to lose sleep over this as there are much more important things than football, but one has to worry because injuries are piling up and its 3 losses already (Burnley and City at home and Palace away) to teams that we beat on these corresponding fixtures last season, and we are still in October. Something has to change and fast, or else we will be in for a very hard season. Cheers and hoping for a quick response from us in the Champions League, and to Roma of all teams.

Newcastle ?

i pray to God we dont fuck this up, pls no more bs from us, lets just do our frigging job. Cheers

not trying to make excuses, but i think that if we had faced any other midtable team instead of City after our win in Madrid, we could have won at home, but like Conte said, City with their constant pressing, quick play and intensity is what did us, we were knackered after our win in Madrid, altough our defense dealt with their threats pretty well, but still we cant have any excuses, City were simply much better and sharper than us, we had no answer for them, an extra day of rest would have helped for sure and our tough fixture list so far doesnt help either, specially after Champions League games, that´s why you need a big squad to cope with all those games in succession. Cheers

im reading comments on other forums and everyone is writing us off already after this loss to City, what a joke. It was a great game by City and they deserve the win but let´s not talk as if it was a Champions League final, i will give the benefit of the doubt to Conte because we looked tired after that Madrid game and Morata´s injury was a turning point, still no excuse, but at the end of the day its only 3 points for them, still a long season to go, nothing is won yet by anyone, everyone is riding City and United dicks, jeez i swear manc fans are the worst. We will bounce back from this loss, lets believe in the team.

would love to have him here
-
i really want to see a starting regular back 3 of Azpi - Luiz - Christensen with Rudiger and Cahill rotating
-
City have yet to go on a bad run, lets see when it gets really tough how will they cope, they beat Liverpool who has a horrible defence and were down to 10 men, they beat us after our tiring win in Madrid, and they had more rest and no travel, unlike us, everything is going for them at the moment, but it wont last for long, i feel it. Im not trying to make any excuses, City are a formidable team at the moment, but we´ll see for how long can they mantain this rythm, its still early days. Cheers
-
it seems that win against A.Madrid took its toll on the players unfortunately, who knows what an extra day of rest could have done for us, but what´s done is done, now lets march on and regroup. Cheers and KTBFFH
-
i agree with what youre saying about City, but lets not forget that they can have a bad day just like anyone else, a slip up is bound to happen altough that seems very unlikely at the moment, reminds me of Tottenham´s winning run at the end of last season when they were going toe to toe with us, only to lose to West Ham away thus ending their hopes of the title, we were simply much better. Still a very long season, anything can happen, the lesser sides will have a major say where the title goes this season. Cheers
-
agree, lets regroup and focus on the next matches, Christensen has cimented his spot for me, amazing player, lets see if Conte sees the same. Cheers
-
Now that i have a much clear head, the only odd result there would be our loss against Burnley, it still irks me, on any other given day it would have been a win for us, other than that we faced 2 top teams at home, yes we could have done much better but it wasnt meant to be, overall it could have been much worse to be honest considering our difficult fixture list, and like you said, thank God for our away form otherwise we would be lingering down the table. The positive thing i can take from all of this is that we are going to have a much nicer calendar in the next months and we should capitalize on that as City and United will drop points at some point with their respective tough schedules still to come, its still early season, the gap is not that big, pundits and media can say its between only the Manchester clubs for the title, so let them lick their asses, we just have to regroup now and do our job, and we will have a much clear picture come January what our chances are, its still a long season. Cheers
-
lets just pray there is nothing more to it
-
you just know that if it was United or even City they would have moved the match to another day, still no excuses from us.
-
i dont understand why Conte didnt put Michy on considering he is our only other striker available, the fact is Conte got it wrong today and lost. well whats done is done,
-
sorry, im just fuming at the moment, but in that aspect youre right, Conte wanted to cointain City main threats, Morata´s injury fucked up everything, but i feel we could and should have done much better considering we were playing at home, we looked like we were playing away, we respected City too much, couldnt attack to save our lives, City got what they deserved. in the end this is on the board for not getting more players in during the summer, you can see we lack depth, as soon as Morata came off we were done for, altough i expected Michy to come on at that time, who knows what might have happened, would have it made a difference at that moment? maybe, but we can only speculate. Cheers
-
this, i cant believe Conte didnt put Michy on when Morata got injured, what kind of message does this send to Michy , even after scoring the winner against Atletico? Conte lost the plot and that´s 2 games against top opposition at home with only 1 point from those games, simply not good enough, he needs to sort his mess. Cheers
-
Conte played not to lose, but in the end we lost, i didnt expect this coward aproach from him, very conservative. im extremely dissapointed
-
its amazing we didnt concede more to be honest, the 1-0 loss is flattering, that just shows how shit we were, what a way to ruin my mood this weekend, at least we weren´t humilliated, but fuck this, i expected much more from this group of players, the fact that Morata´s injury led to this, it shows we still have big issues to solve this one is on the board for not getting the required targets in the summer, yes Conte got his tactics all wrong today and also the subs, but it doesnt hide the fact that our board fucked it up again. The players were tired from the Madrid game, Morata´s injury is a testament to that, such a shame to lose at home and as champions playing like this at home is embarassing, we looked like an average team, congrats to City, they were miles better than us today and we couldnt cope with them or cause them any problems, they played us off the park and they deserve the victory. its back to the drawing board again, lets just hope Morata´s injury isnt so serious. Cheers mates
