  1. Oblak was simply immense, that save from Ramsey's header at the end tough, Oblak grew wings right there, it was sick. I felt the ref was a cunt to Atletico, sending Vrsaljko off just after 10 mins, and also Arse players diving everywhere to try and influence the ref, altough Arsenal had the much better chance, in the end it came back to bite them in the ass when a fk was not given to Arsenal before Atletico's equalizer, thats all they needed to score an away goal. the Marseille gk made some sick saves against Salzburg to keep a clean sheet, immense too, still all to play for in the 2nd leg
  2. to think we could be with Salah and De Bruyne in our team right now, it just makes me want to kill the idiots who let them leave without buyback clauses
  3. lets just pray Bayern or Real can do the job
  4. at least now it will make Pool sweat in the 2nd leg, if Roma can get and early goal who knows what can happen, but despite that it was an awful performance from Roma even if they did score 2 away goals.
  5. just a shame Roma let those 5 goals in, but in reality Liverpool should and could have scored much more. Bring on the 2nd leg, Roma fans will believe, but in order for them to turn it around it would also require a complete Pool meltdown, and i just dont see it happening. those 5 goals will prove very costly for Roma.
  6. hmm i dont see it happening, Liverpool have goals in them in the 2nd leg, but Roma might just make it interesting
  7. 5-0 doesnt reflect how dominant Liverpool have been today, it should be like 8-0 or more. Roma are done edit: an away goal for Roma, but it might be too late to change the tie unless Roma perform a miracle, i just dont see it happening
  8. Klopp will have to win something soon, its his 3rd season and no trophy to show for it, just like Pochettino at Spurs, long may it continue, i simply dread the idea of Pool winning the Champions League this season.
  9. its over, Liverpool are too much to handle for Roma
  10. tie over, Roma simply outclassed all over the pitch, what an embarassment
  11. Credit where its due, Klopp has worked wonders at Liverpool, the players reflect that on the pitch, they will win a trophy sooner or later, just not this season pls.
  12. Liverpool just tearing Roma apart with such ease, what a shame from Roma, expected much more. If only Bayern or Real can do their part in the final, one can hope
  13. cheer up lads, it was bound to happen at some point, cant win them all, its not the end of the world, it hurts to lose but Barca's youth set up is one of the best in the world, 3 final UYL appearances for Chelsea, 2 wins and a loss, the academy is doing wonders for these kids, they will need to learn from it and bounce back, a defeat here is a wake up call. Cheers
  14. yes he scored, hats off to him, spoon fed by Azpi's cross, sound familiar? i rather Giroud all round play and clinical in front of goal than a low on confidence Morata, im waiting to see if Morata starts in the final and has a shitter, then i will to see your excuse, of course i want him to score, but im not expecting too much from him thats for sure, at least for now, but i would like him to prove me wrong. Im not going to argue with you more about Morata. Cheers and good day
  15. what good is creating chances for yourself if you re not going to put them in the back of the net, like i said, lack of confidence atm
  16. Giroud to start in the final pls, Morata is just too inconsistent, just keeps missing chances, clearly has big confidence issues, sad really, hope he manages to turn it around
  17. nah, too much of a bottler for my taste, he should be doing much much more with this Tottenham team
  18. lets do our job tomorrow and then we can think about the final, it would be nice to play the mancs again in the final since beating them in 2007 at the new Wembley, great old memories, back then we had real winners in the team. If we reach the final it will be Mourinho leading the United team this time around as opposed to 2007 when he was in charge of Chelsea, how fast things change in football, damn... i must confess, never in a goddamn million years did i imagine Mou at United, but thats life. All i know is, i really want us to win the whole bloody thing, i hope. Cheers and KTBFFH
  19. can that be a good omen for us? i wish
  20. if it happens its safe to say he will more likely end up at Real, more chance to succeed there than at Chelsea to be honest, altough i would love to have him in our ranks, but Real have more lure and more Champions League aspirations than us, sad but true
