Completely cynical of me.....;-)But then again, look at recent fans favourites who are icons at the club. Jose, JT, Frank and DD......when one has to go because of difficult circumstances, then who better to bring in no matter what capacity to keep fans onside.

No..just saying that you dont know whether Hazard, Falcao and Remy are better...just like Spurs didnt know with Kane.This is for 3rd or 2nd strikers position. And as for battling matches because of position we are in.......the kid was player of the year in a tough championship beating players that are doing really well at Watford, Bournmouth etc... So if Remy or Falcao or both have to leave then Bamford should have a shot at being back up striker.

So if DD is being earmarked for the job, would you put this down as a tactical move by Chelsea to keep the support happy?

Think they still want to play another season or more.DD could be an outside bet here......providing he gets his licenses. Wouldn't be my choice as I would want someone there on merit as the same for any job on the coaching staff

I would first off rather see a couple of loan deals cancelled, paid off and bring them back coupled with maybe just 1 possibly 2 major signings. Our best young academy products bar RLC are out on loan....not at the club. Those asking for 3, 4 or more major signings coming in better not be bleating about youth players not getting a chance in the coming months

Thought their keeper was MotM and showed that he is in my opinion the best reactionary shot stopper there is. Courtois commands his area better though and seems to have more time...must be down to placement and awareness so he doesn't have to make so many saves for the camera as DDG makes

Hey chaps and chapesses....isn't it all rather awfully exciting that every post match debate is seen through red mist or blue tinted specs, weighted down by personal agendas coupled with huge amounts of hypocrisy. Cannot believe I am still seeing posts blaming Mourinho for these performances or indeed seeing posts saying Hiddink hasn't improved on what. Mourinho would have done.

Had any 1st team squad strker been available he would have played.....pointless comparing matches here or going over old ground. Cliche - match by match but at least the attacking midfield will have a focal point in the next match. Bring on the Palace and shut that awful drum and unnatural pre meditated chanting up.
