He clearly states it would be a pain watching Jose
-
Even if he does end up in Manchester....why would it be painful? Can't see what the big deal is if we have sacked someone, free to go wherever they want........had he asked to leave to go to another club, that's different
-
Most probably because at the time (like a lot is us) he thought Cech was going to PSG.......so when the Arsenal stuff changed from paper talk to strong rumours and agents getting involved ...did Jose up the ante about the move.....and too damn right as well. Cechs move to Arsenal far outweighed the implications of free agent Lampards move to the City group in New York and Manchester. Judas ;=)
-
Dunno about that...there is a team that's just as quick to commute to from London as Manchester is ( think he is keeping his family in London residence).....with a shedload of money and superstar players just a short hop across the channel that might well be interested

Ok then thats good. Hes excusable anyway being a bit mental. His overall attitude yesterday I thought was excellent -picking bits up in the six yard box, holding the ball up, and importantly staying out of trouble instead of acting like a pissed up cunt in a nightclub. Also what Guss said in the press conference was just what Mourinho said anyway with regard to Costa, so fuck knows what was going on and why the difference. However we do know Mourinho creates a more tense situation. Actually overall with the players expressing themselves, unfettered artistry flowing, I am starting to think there could have been something in the Eva thing all along. But anyway thats all gone now... time to move on Anyway...it was Matic and Fabregas that didnt seem to ackowledge us and went straight off to the tunnel.....but I stand to be corrected because of being focused on mikel and JT at the time.Do seem to recall Costa getting to the 18 yard box to acknowledge us from further back than the main group Just seen some photos someone took from up in the stand..you are correct...Costa stood on half way line and applauded....others bar a couple came across in dribs and drabs some hanging back further than others. Anyway...Costa is back, looked quick with his intelligent runs and it seems to wind defenders up more now he is not up for a scrap

just wondering whether this injury is linked to the hip injury from a couple of weeks back. I know from personal experience that when you get an injury to the hip , it can be painful in the groin area and you think you have a muscle problem there when infact its the hip. just speculation based on what happend to me before anyone accuses me of being a doctor etc ;-)
-
he also ackowledged the support during the game a couple of times
-
he needs a run in the team to get the consistency, even if he has an average match one day. Hiddink, is the only manager who in the past has given him a serious run of matches rather than the 'in for 1 or 2', out for '3 or 4' with sometimes an appearance from the bench others seemed to do with him.
-
Just my opinion, we've played a lot of football lately without much rotation. The game was won, we do need to use our squad, this is the perfect opportunity to give them time and it wasn't taken. Cup match will be the ideal match

finally in the car for my lift home.....'where's your famous atmosphere' I bragged on the pre. match thread ( without much conviction) how we would shut that awful drum and chanting up....they hardly got a look in. Brilliant performance by team and away support. 2 hour journey home....where are the strepsils...husky voice and sore. throat
-
Jon obeeee meeeekel Sore throat after that Brill atmosphere
-
Yesss...a signal inside the ground. 1st half...jon obi mikel running this game
-
Dont mind them for kids as mementos when playing European teams...but never for other English clubs and never ever worn at matches...kid or not.Back to Jose scarfs....wonder if any were spotted on TV inside the ground being worn or waved about
-
Just as bad as half n half scarves.......should have had LVG n Mourinho as half n half on there
-
welcome and enjoy
-
at the time ...it wasnt quite that obvious.Even last season Everton fans were still complaining he couldnt trap a bag of cement and needed loads of chances to score one. Obviously, different story this season....just shows how forgetful and how fickle fans can be especially when they magically morph into hindsight harrys
-
not quite sure why you made the Cech comparison here
-
Ademola Lookman from Charlton rumoured to be joining us Another one to be loaned back and never seen again ;-) but he does seem quite good and quite a few clubs were in for him
-
ok.....so pick a philosophy for the club and see if your idea of one matches others ;-)I actually thought the club one was to remain competitive, be winners, and increase the global brand year on year. And who gives a toss how we do it ;-) And I have a feeling that could be every top club in the PL philosophy. All this free flowing attacking football philosophy you hear from the media about Utd is a load of bollix.
-
I am actually confused about all this "club philosophy" bollix that seems to be buzzing around us and others such as Man Utd. What is our philosophy then? Agreed on Guardiola
-
go on my sahn !!!! ;-)
-
lol...with Costa...easy mistake ;-)
-
my completely biased 11 are Courtois Aina, Zouma, Christensen, Ake RLC, Baker, Kenedy, Musonda, Traore Solanke very mobile midfield 5 that can rotate to different formations and cover each other honourable mentions to Baba, Abraham and other Chelsea left out plus all those 'worldies' mentioned in posts above ;-) Bet this team after a couple of matches could give a few teams in the PL a decent game. Wouldnt mind betting on current form and confidence, they could actually beat the 1st team. Only done this because throughout different threads on the forum, different posters keep telling us how great xy or z is and better than what we have.....so it must be true
