Clockwork got a reaction from Vesper in Chelsea Transfers
I hope we find a way to sign Archie Gray, quite frankly i think KDH is way out of his element for a club like Chelsea.
Was KDH any good in the PL before Leicester got relegated?

I don't see a pure DM with Archie Gray, see an 8. Reminds me of Kovacic
As for Hall? He is soon to be 26 and looked the part when Leicester was relegated to the Championship.
From a glance Archie Gray seems like top talent.

Calafiori would make much more sense, given that he could play CB and play LB at a high level.

ugarte was signed by PSG before they decided on enrique as their next manager. He does not suit Enriques style of play , so he wasnt really in his plans. He's a good player and will excel elsewhere

Olise is also a Chelsea youth product, and his brother is still at the club.

Definitely can not be counted on, first there is the question if he can be available, second is the question of the impact of injuries on his performance.
Crazy to count on a player who missed the entire season, and the previous other two season he missed the majority of games.

Olise must happen at all costs otherwise we will end up with Summerville.

Sometime the best move is not doing anything, why not bring back David Fofana as backup and save yourself 40m and go out get better striker than Duran next summer.
What sets Duran apart from Fofana btw?

Definitely he needs to go to a club that dominates possession. You can see why Pep wants him.

Not exactly the same physicality/movement, but reckon Lucas Paqueta and him would be similar on the ball. Paqueta will likely be banned from football tho.
For the record, I think Paqueta plays better for Brazil as he plays deeper than he does for WHU.

Only Rodri, Foden, Walker, and Edison played more minutes in the PL for City.
I prefer Sesko personally, Alvarez is solid but i don't see world class player in him.

Oh ffs pls no. There is a reason Bayern want to get rid. He is clumsy, error and injury prone

Clockwork got a reaction from Mhsc in Enzo Maresca Thread
GK imo is top three most important position on the field, there is a reason both Pep and Klopp spend a world record fee at the time on Edison and Allison.

Gotta get a little credit for pulling this one out of me bum, lolol

Chelsea are eyeing Las Palmas goalkeeper Alvaro Valles.
Enzo Maresca wants a ball-playing shot-stopper between the sticks at Stamford Bridge next season as he looks to implement a possession-based style of play and the 26-year-old Spaniard may fit the bill. Leicester goalkeeper Mads Hermansen played a prominent role under Maresca at the King Power Stadium - not only keeping the opposition at bay but also clearing up in behind the Foxes' backline and building play from the back.

No manager can possibly fix Disasi, guy is crap. Needs to be sold asap no questions.

Disasi doesn't even fit Maresca's set up. He can't play as a sweeper or isn't fast enough as the outside CBs.
We should be offloading him.

Clockwork got a reaction from Fernando in Enzo Maresca Thread
Pep compared Lavia to a Basquets type midfielder, Enzo played in a possesion style midfield in Benfica, Caicedo played under De Zerbi and was wanted by Arsenal. Gallagher might not be a great fit for Maresca, but i won't surprised if he becomes a main player under him.
Mudryk was also wanted by Arsenal, and players like Noni are utilized in those type of football.
Clearly there are players that are not a good fit for possession football.
City are a possession side but tbh, if they played Pep Barca they would have trouble getting on the ball. I do not think any team can replicate possession football as Barca and Spain did a decade ago.
Disasi is terrible, he has no place in a direct side or possession side.
We have players that are huge availability concern, but that is nothing to do with style.
I do have concerns like if they wanted this type of football, some of the signings they have made don't make sense. But so does a lot of things they have done.

Clockwork got a reaction from Fernando in 🏴 Frank Lampard
Think he would be much better as technical director or some role like that at the club.
