Not Costa biggest fan, i do agree he is getting incredibly underrated. Abilities aside, from a personality standpoint he is also a big loss, gritty and feisty player that has enormous impact on his teammates. Lukaku plays for a non top 4 team, so Lukaku plays more games against top 4 teams. Extra 2 games every season in a small sample size can make a huge difference. This is a really deceitful way to use statistics. Shame

Morata works great for his teammates, he makes others around him better, With his link ups and movements to create space for others. He will not top Lukaku as a goal scorer. But his benefits to the team outweighs that. On the other hand the whole team works for Lukaku to score. Teams play Chelsea much tighter and more defensive then Everton. So there is more advantage to playing for Everton then some of you would like to admit. Morata is the type of player I want, also for the first time since Eto'o was here Hazard would finally have a competent striker to link up with. Surrounding your best player with a player that would compliment him should be strongly considered. It would be a great shame for Hazard to spend his entire Chelsea career to go from linking up with Torres, Costa, and now Possibly Lukaku.

Lukaku was scared to compete with Torres and a old man Eto'o, complete bs that he loves the club and he is a "proper Chelsea." I would take him, undoubtedly the best RB of his generation and one of the greats of the game regardless of position. Despite his age he is still world class, key is managing his minutes and games. I think we can do that with Moses playing the easier fixtures while saving Alves for the important occasions. Would I prefer a signing like Nelson Semedo a rising star? Absolutely

I was on a sabbatical from the forum during the Alonso and Luiz saga. So not sure what was said. But I recall at the time I liked both signing to a degree. Always liked Luiz during his first spell and I liked that he was coming back. Alonso I thought he was solid, I still maintain that view. I don't think many would disagree, good player but not elite. I feel critiquing potential transfers and discussing Chelsea is not moaning. This is what the forum is about. But here you are who is doing the actual moaning, focused on others members rather then football topics.

I have serious doubts about him, lacks the football IQ to be a great player. Imo he is likely to be on a similar level as Kondogbia and Moussa Sissoko.

Smart decision on his part, the fact Terry is still the only youth player to make it at Chelsea says more then enough. I believe this will become continuing trend for Acadamy graduates.

Personally would sell him, this feels a lot like the Tavez situation when he was at City. A player that wants to leave, and it will hover around him until he gets the transfer. Of course you don't sell him for the sake of selling, I would push to get fair deal(not 20m obviously) but ultimately it is best for both sides.
