I have seen almost nothing on the other guys, but Ousame Diomande would be another lackluster signing.
-
Lol our infatuation with Brighton is weird, City on the other hand had their sights on Barca as their model when they were king of the football world. WTF has Brighton ever been?
-
Enzo and Cacideo would be tremendous if they played alongside Jorginho, Rice is much better as an 8 than as a DMF. Chelsea is missing a Jorginho not Rice.
-
Poch is to be blamed, we had Pool pinned in regular time. His substitutions and tactics allowed Pool to settle in and get opportunities. Extra time should have favored Chelsea, Chelsea had experienced players, it was time to be aggressive and go for the kill. Poch has been coaching in England for almost a decade, and still has zero trophies. This game proved another reason why is trophyless.

Spent billions and still not addressing or allocating the most resources into the three most important players on the pitch Gk, DM, and ST. Sanchez is subpar, Patrovic is not good enough with his feet. His constant long balls is annoying, and just gives the other team the ball back quickly. Caicedo is not a DM, he is a B2B. He is best used like Kante, that aggressively closes down on players and wins back the ball. Enzo is no holding DM, he is also not general like Jorginho or have his ability to control a midfield. ST- Need a reliable ST. This was obvious before all the spending. Poch is not the guy to lead this project, he is too much of a bootlejob like he always been.

This forum always roots for City to win the league. lol

What is the point of Thiago Silva starting? This team is neither good enough to be top 4 or bad enough to be relegated. You don't need a 39 year old CB who is not here beyond this season to be playing every game. if this season is lost, you might as well get as much information as possible.
-
Offer Lesley Ugochukwu. Not good enough for Chelsea, there are many more promising DM out there.
-
I don't understand how you spend billion on transfers and still not improving. It is isn't difficult tbh. You prioritize the most important players on the pitch. Which is GK, DM, and ST. We have prioritized every position except those. You don't settle for a GK who has unwanted at Brighton. You don't have a guy who has had less than 10 games of good spell in La Liga to lead your line. The DM that was purchased was not fit and question about his quality. Caicedo is a B2B player, which is why i was against signing him. Build a foundation of your team, than from there improve other positions. The people leading the club is taking the opposite position.
-
Caicedo is not a holding midfielder, this is the problem. I was never quite high on him, but at the same we are playing him out of position. He is a Kante esque player.
-
I stated this before Poch was hired, and people keep mentioning how a little over 1 season at Arsenal overrides his career where he has consistently over performed expectation. Emery had a much higher winning percentage at PSG than Poch, even higher than Tuchel.
-
Who is the idiot who recommended him to sign him from Brighton? He wasn't good enough for Brighton. We are going to finish in the 10-12 standing again.
-
He is not anywhere near 100%, but what a lovely pass.
-
He has been our best midfielder this season easily and best player. Some of you need to be angry at someone else, there is plenty of them.
-
LOL, nice defending by Gusto.
-
We should see the ball much more now that Jorginho is off the pitch.
-
Man i miss this guy, i think he needs to do yoga. Tends to be a common problem with muscular people, they tend to be stiff. I recall John Terry playfully calling RLC the stiffest man. Cobham need more focus on yoga and flexibility.
-
Paez is insane talent, absolutely amazing the maturity he plays with at that age. Maybe one of the most exciting players we have signed at that age.
-
Exactly how i felt about Caicedo, this is too much money for a player that doesn't alter a game at an elite level.
-
we are 14th and last season we finished 12th. I don't want to hear any talk about being patient when we are this bad.
-
Exactly how complicated is it, to understand that to score goals you need numbers in the box and have the right personal to create and shoot in the final end. I do not want Enzo at the end to be shooting or Chilwill.
-
I personally do not believe a team just gets drastically better because of experience and playing together, they can get better to a certain degree i am not underrating that aspect of team football. Any example of any team rebuild be it be Kloop, Arteta, Pep, etc. I will show you how they got better because of players being purchased. For me so far it shows lack of good managing or if you want to blame it on the Admins that shows terrible team building. This shit is so frustrating spending 1B and still looking like shit.
-
Football is not that complicated, it is not not hard to see atrocious football when you see it. Do you realize we are playing our softest schedule all season? If it is this bad now wait until October when our schedule picks up drastically. We are in trouble if this doesn't pick up. We are playing at a level closer to relegation than CL. Don't care if it is Poch or the buffoons from Brighton.
-
You guys are making excuse for the manager, and not holding him accountable. You think Lewis Hall would be at Newcastle if Poch gave him playing time? He is a much better than Chilwill in the attacking phase. Regardless of experience or whatever we look like shit playing football. There is no reason why we have two attacking outlets on the pitch against fucking Forest.
-
I can hardly believe we would back him to spend 170m on Lavia and Caicedo, and spend 45m on Palmer and 20-30 on youth players left and right. If he felt strongly about his lack of attacking options. We were one of the worst sides in the PL last season when it comes to scoring goals. Absolutely do not want to hear any excuse made for the manager.
