Ornstein said he was a no go couple weeks ago, he is as reliable as they come.
-
Xavi is officially available, i would go for him.
-
Prefer Nico Williams, healthy and we need greater options on the right.
-
Given those options i would go with Enzo Maresca, rather go with Pep protégée rather than ole gunnar protégée.
-
Journalists like Fabrizo, Ben Jacobs, David Ornstein view the process much more open.
-
Enzo is going to have the same issue under McKenna as he did under Poch, he is not a combative and energetic DM. If you are going to play very direct, your pivot need to cover a lot of ground. He also likes to hoof the ball to a target man, that is clearly not the silky Jackson. Feel sorry for Enzo.
-
Maresca and McKenna are very different, seriously how can you be considering both of them? I mean it is not like the manager is going to have a lot of power. You are building a squad and spent 1Billion, and yet you have no idea how you want your team to play?
-
I would be very upset if it is McKenna. Wanted a manager with a different style from Poch, McKenna tactics is very Poch like.

I look at the overall season, as far injuries some were net positive. For example Axel Disaster, Sanchez, Sterling. As far as your points as improvement from last season. Potter was terrible hire, and we spent a lot of money in the summer. Potter/Lampard was a disaster of season, and only way to go was up. If the last six games were mixed results you guys would not be mad about this as some of you are. I wait for who they hire, i think letting Poch go was the right decision but not going lie i am concerned with who they hire.
-
If Poch was not garbage for most of the year, this team should finished in the top 4. Villa and Spuds have absolutely no business finishing above us. Overall Poch results and improvement was not good enough. You guys are getting carried away by the last 5 games results, like the other 33 games didn't matter only the that matter, and if we are being honest the performance was nothing to write about. Remember Crystal Palace finished the last 6 games like us, in fact they looked even better.
-
He did as well a Poch did toward the end of the season, that should make people here happy since the last 6 games of the season that matters to them.

Based on David Ornstein who is the most reliable person when it comes to Chelsea, the club made the decision a while ago and recent results just made it a little more complicated. At the end they didn't like what they saw over the course of the season. Poch didn't reach the club objective and tactically they want to go in a different direction. Personally i agree to part ways, recent results help Poch save face.

Lucky for us we are not Bayern.
-
Imo he would be my go to guy.

City hired former Barcas Txiki Begristain and Ferran Soriano in 2012, and hired Pep in 2016. They planned this for a while, and it was inevitable that Pep was going to coach in the PL and manage City. They shifted their playing with Manuel Pellegrini, and obviously went up another notch under Pep. Great planning and vision by City. To me the best way to run a club is have a clear vision of the club, have the structure above the manager. The manager is an extension of the club vision and planning.
-
You don't think United were patient enough with Ole Gunnar or ETG?
-
Give the people who run City a lot more credit though. They have used their money much better than us and United. They have given Pep whatever he needed to succeed.
-
Not buying the injury excuses, you can argue a lot of those injuries was a net positive. Tbh, my biggest concern is if everyone healthy would Poch know his best starting XI. Don't think so.
-
Think Ugarte, Caicedo, and Enzo is much more balanced midfield. I like Gallagher but you spent 230m on Cai and Enzo, you might as well get a DM that allows those two to play B2B like they are suited for. I think that was the plan before Ugarte decided to take PSG higher wage over Chelsea. try to get Ugarte on loan.
-
Ugarte is avaliable, doesn't fit Enrique version of a 6. On the other hand he fits like a glove in Poch system.
-
Seeing Chelsea fans rooting for City pathetic and loser mentality. Couldn't give a damn if Arsenal or City won the title, i am only invested in Chelsea success not other teams failures or success.
-
Top 4 would have been easily achievable with a decent manager. I don't care this squad is incredibly underperformed under Poch. Villa and Spuds should not be ahead of us. A draw and 2 wins, people acting like Poch is turning the table. Expectation is that low.
-
Yup, it is absolutely foolish to sit back and invite pressure from the plethora of talents from Madrid.
-
If they sack Poch, they will go after De Zerbi. I think he is a better fit than Poch for this squad, i think he can get more out of the squad than Poch can.
