Against City, i am not sure how much fault i put on Jorginho. The way i saw it there was massive amount of space to the left and right of Jorginho. Yeah good luck to anyone trying to cover all that space.
-
Jorginho could be positioned on the RCM, where he could still effectively help the buildup and distribute while being relived of protecting the back four. I personally think Jorginho role is very difficult what he is asked to do, he is basically asked to be Busquets and Xavi on this team. Kante alone can definitely not fill Jorginho role, and i am not sure how can do that definitely no one at Chelsea though.

For a moment i completely forgot Cahill was still here.

Who is that 1 player btw? i don't think we have anyone from AVD days. Hazard arrived the season after AVB was sacked.
-
What are you guys thoughts, does he stay on or get sacked? honestly i have no clue.
-
Sarri is not the issue if we are being honest, the issue is much larger than him. This squad needs a deep revamp. That said Sarri is not the answer, i have seen enough of him to know he can not be one leading this club in the future.
-
Are you guys freaking serious, there is nothing conflicting about this. I will always root for scenarios that in the best interest of Chelsea. Who cares if Liverpool win the title, fuck them and City.
-
I have no issue with Sarri not hand shaking, too much niceness and beta attitudes in football.
-
Seem like the most sensible thing, that was his formation at Empoli.
-
I don't consider that a little run. But i get your point regarding Zappa. That is the problem with Sarri; he has invested a lot of time in some players and at this point he is way too stubborn to give players like Emerson, Zappa, Christensen, CHO, and RLC an oppertunity. So basically he will go down with the players that put him in the position he is right now, if that makes sense.
-
Emerson got a little run? when did that happen?
-
Sarri = Lopetegui
-
Kovacic is our best press resistance midfielder, no idea why he is not playing. Same with Emerson.
-
Going to depend on if Solari is retained, usually there is a fresh start when a new manager is hired.
-
Brooks played through the middle and drifted more to the other side, sometime i wonder if you actually watch the matches.
-
He signed a lot of shit players, made a terrible hire in Henry and created strenuous environment for Jardim. I think it is quite condemning that Monaco rehired Jardim and fired Emenalo, a move that definitely signal how terribly he did and an attempt to wash themselves from Emenalo moves. That is what accountability looks like, but at Chelsea they escape from it only managers feel the wrath.
-
Recall the same people defending Emenalo, didn't take Monaco long enough to realize what a grave mistake they made. Emenalo turned one of the most exciting teams in Europe into a team that is fighting for survival in Ligue 1. Emenalo and Marina are simply not competent enough to survive at a top club.

Griezmann is a finisher similar to Salah, i think he is suited to Sarriball nicely. He has great off the ball movement, quick, work rate, release the ball quickly, very good technically. He would be immense on the left hand side.
-
I just cannot agree with that, and many who have watched and are more familiar with Isco and James would disagree with you. James is in the same tier as Mata and Ozil. On the other hand Isco will never be known for his work rate and tactical awareness. But at least he is not as limited as James by his speed and stamina. I think he is doable. For Isco is more about buying in, and i believe Sarri can do that. James on the other hand not only needs to buy in, but he is limited physically. I think James is better suited to Serie A, Juve can be a great spot for them. Isco on the other hand is more suited to EPL. Plus Isco dribbling and close control would be greatly needed to replace the void left behind by Hazard.
-
Most would characterize James as a luxury player and less intelligent tactically between the two. Isco is a proper midfielder with a better work rate. Biggest reason why Zidane didn't rate James was due to his tactical intelligence and work rate. Between the two i would take Isco, especially in midfield. I still rate James though.

Smh overreaction over nothing here. He gets asked the question about his future wherever he goes, Hazard recent comments is as little as you could say and basically saying nothing.
-
Hard to draw any conclusion on this game, Huddersfield is quite bad and they are on pace to be arguably one of the worst PL sides ever. But it was a good game to get players confidence up, we will see if we have indeed turned the corner in the next couple fixtures. I think based on attributes i think Christensen should start alongside one of Luiz or Rudigar feel those two tend to be super aggressive, Christensen can bring balance. Feel we finally have a decent striker in Higuain, refreshing to see a player that demands the ball and looks to score goals.
-
There is no way that is true, that is far from Real Madrid current model.
-
You really believe we got smashed 4 nil because Emerson started?
