  1. The lineup definitely tells me he is feeling the pressure. Alonso, Willian, and Barkley are all players he has invested a lot in so when back against the wall he is going to the players he has put a lot trust in.
  2. The biggest argument for Sarri is he doesn’t have the players to play his style, but my concern is if he has the authority to make hard decisions on this squad. If he is going to be successful playing his style, then big changes are necessary. Worst outcome would be to persist with the same players, and try to force them into his style. I currently see him doing the latter.
  3. I can see it, in the summer we will sell Hazard and CHO while Willian gets a contract extension.
  4. That amount of space Azpi and Pedro have is ridiculous, shame we can't exploit that.
  5. I so badly want to see Emerson-RLC-Hazard on the same side.
  6. Kinda would like to see AC over Rudiger; give Rud a rest and he has played sloppy in recent games.
  7. I really dislike this line of thinking, that CHO has gotten decent amount of minutes at his age. Clearly CHO is not your ordinary 18 year old, it is not ordinary for one of the biggest club in the world to bid 40m for a player with very little senior experience. He is a special player, he has only played 61 minutes in PL action that is very little.
  8. I think RLC has done fine this season his issues remain to be injuries, like Zola said: "It's a pity because it's the story of this player. He gets to a very high point and then he has problems and has to start again. "I feel for him, but pleased to see him back and he did well when he came on."
  9. If we are going to sell him, we should sell him at no less than we bought Pulisic.
  10. At this point you already to know what you have in Willian which is not much, brilliant goal once in a full moon he is capable of that. Btw is this Willian first multi goal game at Chelsea?
  11. Kovacic looks pretty natural in that deep role.
  12. It is really difficult to know out there if Alonso is sprinting or jogging.
  13. I think he is fine as we saw on many occasions especially against Spuds. He is no Luiz, but he is a better defender. Lots of missing pieces may make him look out of place.
  14. You damn right should be. Also worth noting this tweet:
  15. And that is the crux of the issue for me, if we had a Sane, Sterling, B.Silva, etc i wouldn't honestly give a damn. I can understand the situation having young, talented, and proven players ahead of him. But we have Willian and Pedro ahead of him, both players are reaching level of Kalouda. We are really about to lose our two most talented forwards between now and summer. This is shameful.
  16. Hazard situation I agree with, little to nothing to do with Sarri. CHO situation has a lot to do with Sarri, the reason he is unwilling to sign contract extension is due to Sarri playing him so little. He is only playing recently due Bayern interest, likely Board pressuring Sarri to do so. Playing time and trust has everything to do with the current situation, and Sarri is the only who selects his players. Youth players having 2 years left on their contract at the beginning of the season is quite normal, Ampedu was in a similar situation. Luckily he signed his contract earlier in the season. If CHO had signed a contract extension he would have remained even further on the bench.
  17. I know i am being greedy, like Vesper said it wouldn't be surprising to see Alonso back in the starting lineup soon. I just want him out of the club, he belongs in the same category as Moses and Drinkwater imo.
  18. He has not been training with the squad, so likely it is imminent unless it falls apart. Similar to Morata situation.
  19. Who is going to back him up now that Zappacosta is surely being sold?
  20. Nah, i wouldn't feel comfortable being Emerson injury away from being stuck with snail again. I want Alonso sold period.
  21. Very similar to Kovacic, better imo. Transfer fee will be cheap, but wages will not be since he knows he can wait in six months to be a free agent have top clubs bidding for him. I would make that trade, forgo the option to sign Kovacic and sign Rabiot now or in six months. I think a move out of France would do him good. I would rather sign Houssem Aouar above them though, who has a bit more game in the final third. Which would better complement Kante and Jorginho.
