As a young boy when we sold Osgood and Hudson that was a real choker likewise Ray Wilkins but we had no choice with Wilkins we were totally skint then. Recently it has to be De Bruyne he's going to be a world class player and when you sell him and a year later buy Cuadrado !. Well we've been praised for our recent transfer dealings but those two deals are just baffling. I think Mourinho threw the baby out with the bath water where De Bruyne was concerned.

I think today's performance has been scrutinised well on the forum so i don't have to much to add. What concerns me again is Mourinho's arrogance resurfacing again. Someone said on this forum that Mourinho's refusal to answer a question was genius or some other ridiculous superlative. He's asked a reasonable question ''Why was Cahill dropped? his answer '' I don't have to answer that''. Would have put Lukaku in front of Eto in a heartbeat myself. Think Drogba's influence might have had some bearing but to be honest he was pretty iffy. His best attributes pace power and strength were pretty much gone even taking into account his age. Always be a Chelsea legend though.

His press conferences these days are painful to watch he's making it abundantly clear he doesn't want to be there. I've said in another post that Steve Holland will be at a lot of pressers this season or Mourinho will do the one word answering like Avram Grant.
