Heartbreaking for the Scousers, bloody game... Gesendet von meinem SM-G930F mit Tapatalk

Perhaps i've made an understatement. He's now expensive as fuck, despite this season i don't see why we should buy him. We already have Fabregas, Willian and perhaps Hazard for the middle. Yes, and Oscar. Add more steel to the team. Vidal was brilliant against Atletico, Boateng knows how to defend, we don't get these players, but maybe we can find some gems.

Looks rather like a Hazard when taking a look at his mentality, imo. Liked James under Ancelotti, but these days, his attitude stinks. Stay away, i want soldiers! [emoji4]

Villareal are playing some nice footie, looking not so good for Pool. Hope the German will get it right in the second half. ? Gesendet von meinem SM-G930F mit Tapatalk

Spot on with Fabregas, but i don't think it would be a good idea to throw the towel for about three years. The more talented players would want to leave, their time is limited, they don't want to wait for years to come for silverware we can't even guarantee. Didn't Fabregas say on monday night football that Conte wants to win something as soon as possible? If we don't address the weaknesses properly, i'm having a hunch that it's all gonna end in tears and Guus will be back sooner or later, lol. But i don't want to be negative, not now, i've read a lot of negative stuff.

Sure money played its part, but i think there's more to it. They both have history together, Van Gaal helped a lot to kick start Bastian's career, before all of that he was seen as a fair weather player. Van Gaal worked his magic on him, he found the right position for him, there's still a bound between them. In addition, he already was washed up, they couldn't pull off Muller for a reason, despite more money on the table, imo. My point is, Conte has also his guys, some of them are already all over the media. Most of them don't fit the description 'world class', but they could do a good job over here. Chelseafan26 made good points, world class players like Bale who don't know Conte personally are highly impossible, imo. The amount of these kind of talents is limited (Bale, Dybala, Pogba and so on). We're talking about players who most of the top clubs would immediately take if there's even a slight chance of snapping any of them up. Hypothetically speaking, some them want to come here because we still pay a big salary, you've backed that one up, but what about the transfer fees? I'm under the impression that Torres (2011) was the last one. Everything's getting more and more expensive, that's how the world works, maybe too much for Chelsea. Every club in England is on the receiving end of the honey pot. The rivals know that, a premium price for England will reduce the advantage. Do you really see a big change coming up? It has already started with Loftus-Cheek, over are the days where a talent like Pogba demands 20k, now they want 60k. Apart from money, do you remember how much Di Maria cried because of the lack of CL footie? They maybe sign the contracts, but some of them are still unhappy. We'll see how it pans out. Maybe you're right, but i'm not sold on it. Not yet! Regards!

Muller is going to stay, Pep's not, Ancelotti won't bench Mulller, not against these kind of opponents. Sidelining Muller in such a game looks like a proper sabotage mission, Pep cares too much for getting his Spanish treble done; lost all their first games against Spanish opposition in the semis. Very well done!
-
Pep played a lot of times Kimmich, the young boy did well, but against Atletico he backed out and played the more experienced defender. Cost the team big time! I wonder what he's going to do next week, play the half fit Boateng? Pep will have a lot of problems at City, have fun. ? Gesendet von meinem SM-G930F mit Tapatalk

City away, 1:0, imo. But how high up the pitch Atleti pressed in the first half, Mourinho sets up differently. His second game against Atleti, got the goal, hit the post, damn it. Their combinations are unbelievably good, quite sad.

Good thing is back in the day we all knew it. Brilliant, brilliant, at that time Azpi and Iva were shocking. Fun being a couch manager. ? Gesendet von meinem SM-G930F mit Tapatalk

Sorry for the late response, better late than never, i guess. Sorry at Mods for wrong topic, but i can't see how i can display the code (after the update it seems different) and copy it myself in the right thread (Fabregas). In terms of assists i agree with you. Fabregas can play the decisive pass, that's Pirlo esque, but here comes the problem, i don't see how Fabregas can make his team tick. I'm under the impression that apart from a handful passes, he can't control the game, can't dictate the tempo, he simply doesn't have it in him. There's a reason why he couldn't challenge an old Xavi at Barca, why Spain used him as a false 9 and why Chelsea have so many problems. He can't be the central point of the play, he couldn't take over at his previous clubs, why should it happen now, remember, the guy's 28 years of age... Pirlo had his second spring at Juve, Milan underestimated his qualities in the end, but before all of that, he showed that he can be the fulcrum of his team. It worked out at Juve, but it happened in the Serie A, and the style of play is different there. It's not so much about the pace. So i can't see how two bodyguards will be enough in England. Maybe some games, but someone will get tired sooner rather than later. Yesterday i watched City vs. Madrid and the two Nando's put in quite a shift in the first half, later they faded (a bit) away and there's the problem. Combining him with Pjanic? In my view that would leave the door wide open to counter attacks, we're already having huge problems in that department; centre-backs slow as fuck Matic Hazard We can't have it all, as far as i'm concerned, i even would think between Hazard and Fabregas and because of the huge qualities of the Belgian and Conte's opinion, i would prefer him over Fabregas. Fabregas is a high profile player at Chelsea, 'unbenchable'. He wants to play most of the time, especially when the big boys come calling. You can't have it both ways, either you live with his limitations or you try to sell him, imo. People have to make up their minds what they really want, i want more soldiers, more compactness, and i don't see it happening with those flair players. But i get that you're a connoisseur of the beautifulness of the passing, so i get why you'd like combining Fabregas and Pjanic. Final words: That was all for nothing, because i think Conte will stick with Fabregas. So many great coaches have seen so much in him, Conte will be the same. I don't know if buying Pjanic is an option, maybe we'll see it happening here. Maybe you'll be proven right, or not, would be a fun ride, anyway. Regards!

I have seen so many bad games from him over the years, lost count. Sure he's had his world class games this season, but it's only been one! Would be the typical Chelsea buy, flashy attacking player who has won jack shit in his career, but now would command big money. Big risk! I want soldiers, goddamn steel in midfield (Nainggolan shouldn't be the only one) and a new starting centre back and full back. That's gonna be expensive, but please for the love of god, close the gaps first! But i could see us spending the big bucks on this guy, fucking nightmare, Chelsea way.

Josh was hyped up, but i can't remember seeing photos of him in nightclubs, fancy cars and so on. He always looked like the boy next door, imo. Memphis on the other hand is definitely enjoying it too much: his extravagant outfits have to do the talking for him, partying in Rotterdam -models everywhere, and you know that there must be something seriously wrong when you can't decide whether to take the Rolls or the Hummer for your ride. Expensive and flashy, that's the main things. It looks like that he doesn't give a fuck, proper 22 year old mercenary, Van Gaal can't control him, maybe Jose can, we'll see. Not every footballer is on the big bucks, only the specialists, they do what most people simply can't. If you're world class in your field, unique, and know how the game works, you'll most likely end up on the bright side of life (if you want money). A friend of the family is a heart surgeon, yes, education took a long time, had to put in the hard work for quite some years, but around 40 a hospital from the United Arab Emirates made him a huge offer.. health is the most important thing in this life and rich people pay, a few years and he can live like a king, where ever he goes with his family. A doctor can work at least till his 60ties, so you can imagine the paydays. Engineers, Silicon Valley, nuff said. A friend of my sister played in the Bundesliga, but only short-term, a knee injury prevented him from taking his fair share out of the honey pots. So if you wanna play professional footie, fair play to you, but the risk is there, health has and always will be more important than money, if you're not good enough for the first or second division in the top 5 leagues, shit hits the fan, friends start working as engineers, doctors, what do you have?! Becoming a teacher at school is easier (no disrespect meant), but he can spend more time than those 'high potentials' with his family Grandpa would do it, if he was offered the chance again, but life doesn't stop for anybody. Appreciate what you have, it ain't that bad, let the others do what they want. (yes, typical on Insta, sorry ).

'That happens to all of us, but then you start to notice it in the younger players. You see kids who think they’re rock stars, wearing extravagant clothes and driving fancy cars and sometimes you have to take them aside and have a word.' Who is he talking about? Memphis?! [emoji2] I think he's the best example.

Unlucky Spurs, but Pulis got it right. There's so much hate for him, but he gets the job done! So, so happy... ? Gesendet von meinem SM-G930F mit Tapatalk

Courtois is still a young guy and don't forget that he was out for months this season. He made some mistakes and people are allowed to be unhappy with his performances, i think, but i agree with you that going further and now questioning the Cech sale is over the top. It's so easy with hindsight in footie these days, everyone on the internet can be a manager. But in my view the case Fabregas is a different pair of shoes. Yes, he has improved, already started under the watch of Mourinho, but i'm also of the opinion that because of the stature of Fabregas it could have been more. Because of his age he should be at his peak, he's on big money, he talks a lot of sense, but he simply can't walk the talk. He's a liability off the ball, yes he can pass a football, but he's part of the problem why we're open like a barn door against counter attacking football. He can't run, his shooting from open play hasn't been good enough, his positioning is questionable... i'm not happy. I wouldn't call him a cunt, that does neither of us any good, but if it's possible, i want him gone. Don't think it will happen, Chelsea is best for Fabregas, not the other way round. Regards!
-
I can't see him going, who would offer him a better package? No one, so he stays put! He's a definite starter next season, perhaps even the new captain. Worst case, because he can't walk the talk! I would also sell him in a heartbeat, but we have to accommodate the team for him. A man can hope, but most likely either Oscar or Matic will be still around, so it's important that we get the third man Mr. X right.

After United it could be only a two points advantage. Nothing's over yet, sadly.

I also really hope that they can pull it off, no problem.

I'm just talking of the manner (how it's won), that's questionable, imo. Otherwise you've got a point there. Spurs fans are already crying of the lack of media coverage, more or less they are portrayed as the villains. Funny how Leicester's run coincides with them having their best ever PL season.
-
It sounds like if the title's decided on the last day, they would go easy on Leicester just because they don't want the Yids to win it. And people wonder why there's so much hate for Chelsea. This one is not on Mourinho! A rivalry is fair and square but this is something else, that's not fair play. For the competition and neutrals that's a disgrace to the sport, imo. These days players get punished because they post something on Twitter, so in this case you'll never know with the FA. I don't want Tottenham to win it and yes, i hope we make it easy for Leicester, but i get where people are coming from and Hazard shouldn't have said that out loud. Maybe it's part of his rehabilitation attempt, he knows that he's fallen from grace and want to make up for it, therefore he tells the fans what they want to hear.
