  1. First things first, thank you all for expressing your opinions, here are a lot of active members, i am not used to it, haha My bad, last season he didn't dominate the league, not the way Messi or Ronaldo do every week. Most defenders marked him almost every game and fouled him brutally. He couldn't cope with that style of play the way he did before. He wasn't bad though! In my opinion, a year ago, he was way more effective. He did everything and his opponents couldn't cope with his pace and skill. Cuadrado is much more experienced than Salah and till now he hasn't played so much. In the last game he lost the ball very often, thats not very good, but he was committed and tried a lot, i think he will still come good, give him more time to adapt. In contrast to Salah i haven't seen the wayward shooting! We all saw at the biggest stage in the world, what Cuadrado is capable of. These days the speed is reduced in Serie A, but nearly every team knows how to defend properly. The Italian Teams can smoothly switch there formations within seconds, all of them are able to stay tight and so on. Particularly the tactics are still good. A good tactical education is a thing, Mourinho appreciates a lot! You should also take into consideration that in general, opponents play different against a worldclass team like Chelsea than Florenz. It's easier to beat Florenz than Chelsea, therefore you will get more space because the teams don't defend so deep. Can you remember how Gervinho failed miserably in the PL? From my point of view Gervinho as well as Salah are very similar players. If they are used as counter-attacking players with a lot of freedom, you will get the best out of them. In position of the ball and with less space and freedom, both of them aren't able to perform so well. On the contrary i think that Cuadrado can handle this style of play in the long run a lot better, because he is more versatile and is still able to produce with lesser space, but thats just my opinion. ^^
  2. Certainly Salah had his silver linings at Chelsea. Personally i remember his goal against Arsenal or some nice passes, but mostly he wasn't good enough. Yes he has got a nice ball controll, yes he can pass, but we shouldn't forget how most of his shots were, more than once he failed miserably, Shrewsbury anyone?! At Florenz most teams doesn't park the bus against his new team so he gets more space and can use his quickness. Salah gets more freedom, because he is one of their best players, sometimes he plays as a second striker. In addition with all due respect the football in Italy is slower, thats the next bonus for him. Cuadrado dominated the Italian League, look how he struggles now. I wish Salah all the best and i am happy that he's doing so well, but for a top team like Chelsea he wasn't good enoug, sadly.
  3. After the way we lost to PSG, they totally controlled us in midfield which is unacceptable, we need to strenghten our defence and midfield! I know in this area we should talk about Pogba, but i like to compare Pogba/Koke to discuss who suits this Chelsea team better. Personally i prefer Koke over Pogba because Koke plays more defensive, look at his tacklings and his workrate, he is all over the place. Moreover his passing, crossing and holding on to the ball is fantastic. Arguably his vision and playmaking abilities are better than Pogbas. Koke can dominante and organise a game, if its necessary he can slow it down or make it faster, it's all depending on the situation. Pogba is a different type of player. He is a spectacular one, sometimes he scores wonder goals or shows some magic tricks. His dribbling ability is fantastic. From there he has got his reputation, he is the perfect vine player and his personality relieves enhancing his popularity. Pogba is the typical box-to-box player, like Yaya Toure who is the prototype these days. Yaya runs a lot with the ball, but lately top clubs like Bayern Munich or Barca taught him a lesson. Nowadays you can't hold too long on to the ball because the top teams keep the space tight. In my opinion a free-flowing passing game is the most important thing in modern football for sustainable success! If things don't go the way it should be, midfielders like Pogba need to man up and start controlling the game, sadly i haven't seen that from Pogba. Players like Oscar, Fabregas, Ramires lack those qualities too. Maybe Fabregas can be more dominant, if only his colleagues start protecting him more, but the game against PSG clearly shows, that a nice guy like Ramires can't do it. Pogba as well as Koke would strenghten the current team immensely, my intension isn't to bash Pogba, in my view Koke suits a little better in Chelseas current team, thats all. I agree with supporter, who is by the way a fantastic User, that if its possible, we should get them both, that would make one hell of a team, hehe. Happy Easter!
  4. He does a lot of things because of his speed. Nevertheless his technical ability is great, in my opinion its similar to Eden. But his decision making isn't that good, additionally he is lacking tactical comprehension. I prefer before getting Sterling, we should give Cuadrado a proper chance, but it seems Mourinho doesn't rate Cuadrado highly, strange. Cuadrado wasn't cheap and he plays best as a right winger, i hope that next season we will see him much more. Sterling is hard to get, Rodgers doesn't want to do a Suarez, therefore its crazy money. Personally i favour Koke and Varane over Sterling or some other fancy attacking player. All three of them would be very nice, of course^^.
  5. At Shakhtar Willian played as a left winger because his right foot is much better. Maybe Mourinho can use him in that position someday. I don't think that we should buy Depay, this kid would like to play as a left winger, that isn't possible because of Hazard. In my opinion we have enough good wingers, sadly Mourinho doesn't rotate, therefore we don't need more average guys/talents sitting on the bench.
  6. My first comment here. Verratti is a brilliant player, prefer him instead of Pogba. In contrast to Pogba he is the better defender and playmaker for me, suits much better in our system.
