Today Gundogan was great, he will come good again! His vision and his long balls are deadly, he rarely makes mistakes and he is good at the short passing game. Furthermore he has got the quality to tackle, break up play...,he is simply Borrussia Dortmunds engine again! He is the perfect number 10 but he is able to play the part as a deep-lying-playmaker too. In my point of view he would be the perfect replacement for Oscar, but Joses state of mind would agree to disagree, i fear. However i happily settle for Pogba/Koke....

In 2012/2013 Ribery had similar stats, at the end he did not win it. Only goals count for the Balon d'dOr these days, but it's just an individual award, winning cups is way more important. I think that Hazard would agree....

I don't think that Bale will leave this summer. He was an integral part of the squad that won La Decima and the Copa del Rey trophy. Perez likes him alot and despite the disrespect from some of the so called fans, i think that Bale likes the life in Spain. This season he struggles big time, but the season is not over yet, especially in the knockout stage he can easily become the crucial part again. The expectations from some of the Madridistas are ridiculously high, but Bale is a hard worker, he will hit back! Ronaldos extraordinary distances is what differs him from Bale, but in other aspects they are quite similar. Nowadays Bale is better at taking freekicks... Ronaldo won't play forever and Bale will become his successor, it would be stupid to sell him, can't see it, sadly. Furthermore i don't think that Ronaldo plays for individual awards, he is often so angry because he cares so much, he always wants to win, in the same way as Mourinho. In my point of view Ronaldo as well as Bale are able to play together. It's correct that the combinations were at it's best when Bale was out, but he brings different prospects to the table, in the future he will destroy the Spanish league, he still needs time to adapt to the technical style of play. Especially when they allow him to play as a left winger, he will be a force to be reckoned with....

He is quality, but i prefer a potential world class player, for me Koke/Pogba or nothing! Before i go out and buy Matuidi, i trust Loftus-Cheek who is already here.

Courtois is the future, we made the decision and should stick to it! Yeah Cech is solid, but Courtois is a modern-day keeper; his long balls are very precise and he loves to come off his line when required. Cech is a legend, but his time is over, history repeats itself....

I think Hazard performs best if he is used as a left winger. Quick, tricky and great vision are his assets. He likes to take on defenders and embarrass them with his skill. Therefore he is predestinated to play on the left wing, because at this position he gets more space and he is still able to cut in. As a number 10 in a Mourinho Team, he is bound to do more defensive work. Moreover he can't assist that much. Of course there would be advantages, a player like Hazard should as often as possible get the ball and as a number 10 he is more often in front of the goal, the frequency of his shoots would increase, i think. Under Mourinho, Bale has to redefine his game, because i am sure that Mourinho doesn't allow two players free-roles. From my point of view Willian is massively underrated, since Cuadrado has arrived he has greatly improved! I still prefer the transfer of a new defensive-minded midfielder, for example Koke. Furthermore i would like to see Varane at Stamford Bridge!
-
If Willian is put on the left flank, he is much more dangerous, because his right feet is better and cutting in is easier for him. Lucescu knew that and therefore he always played there. You are right that he doesn't have much freedom, supporting Ivanovic doesn't help either. I ask myself, would Sterling be instructed to play similar?!
-
Under AVB at Porto he was a completely different player, you are right! I don't like his attitude at Zenit! The russians pay him and therefore he should work his socks off, but in these days he does only the necessary things. I don't like players with such an attitude! Against Dortmund he was dangerous, but for Brasil he is at best average. Yeah, you already said that, but its up for a discussion, because he tries hard and with players like Neymar he should be more dangerous. Long story short: in my opinion he is inconsistent as fuck and has really regressed, sad thing, because at his best, his power and shots are entertaining.
-
He is fat and doesn't track back. Moreover his passing game is shit and he has no vision! In my opinion he is massively overrated! A few years ago he chose money over football, he has made his bed and now has to lie in it!
-
Heavy statement from Jose Mourinho! If Oscar doesn't come good quickly he will soon be gone.... Mourinho doesn't fuck around!
-
Only one Ballon d'Or behind...

He is one of the best goalscorer in football history! It's impressive how he still manages to stay in such a good shape and he can't stop scoring! I am curious how far he can lead his team this season in the Champions-League, the match against Schalke 04 really impressed me, nowadays he is a real leader. Unfortunately he plays as a left winger, therefore Bale can't reach his potential.

First things first, thank you all for expressing your opinions, here are a lot of active members, i am not used to it, haha My bad, last season he didn't dominate the league, not the way Messi or Ronaldo do every week. Most defenders marked him almost every game and fouled him brutally. He couldn't cope with that style of play the way he did before. He wasn't bad though! In my opinion, a year ago, he was way more effective. He did everything and his opponents couldn't cope with his pace and skill. Cuadrado is much more experienced than Salah and till now he hasn't played so much. In the last game he lost the ball very often, thats not very good, but he was committed and tried a lot, i think he will still come good, give him more time to adapt. In contrast to Salah i haven't seen the wayward shooting! We all saw at the biggest stage in the world, what Cuadrado is capable of. These days the speed is reduced in Serie A, but nearly every team knows how to defend properly. The Italian Teams can smoothly switch there formations within seconds, all of them are able to stay tight and so on. Particularly the tactics are still good. A good tactical education is a thing, Mourinho appreciates a lot! You should also take into consideration that in general, opponents play different against a worldclass team like Chelsea than Florenz. It's easier to beat Florenz than Chelsea, therefore you will get more space because the teams don't defend so deep. Can you remember how Gervinho failed miserably in the PL? From my point of view Gervinho as well as Salah are very similar players. If they are used as counter-attacking players with a lot of freedom, you will get the best out of them. In position of the ball and with less space and freedom, both of them aren't able to perform so well. On the contrary i think that Cuadrado can handle this style of play in the long run a lot better, because he is more versatile and is still able to produce with lesser space, but thats just my opinion. ^^
-
Certainly Salah had his silver linings at Chelsea. Personally i remember his goal against Arsenal or some nice passes, but mostly he wasn't good enough. Yes he has got a nice ball controll, yes he can pass, but we shouldn't forget how most of his shots were, more than once he failed miserably, Shrewsbury anyone?! At Florenz most teams doesn't park the bus against his new team so he gets more space and can use his quickness. Salah gets more freedom, because he is one of their best players, sometimes he plays as a second striker. In addition with all due respect the football in Italy is slower, thats the next bonus for him. Cuadrado dominated the Italian League, look how he struggles now. I wish Salah all the best and i am happy that he's doing so well, but for a top team like Chelsea he wasn't good enoug, sadly.

After the way we lost to PSG, they totally controlled us in midfield which is unacceptable, we need to strenghten our defence and midfield! I know in this area we should talk about Pogba, but i like to compare Pogba/Koke to discuss who suits this Chelsea team better. Personally i prefer Koke over Pogba because Koke plays more defensive, look at his tacklings and his workrate, he is all over the place. Moreover his passing, crossing and holding on to the ball is fantastic. Arguably his vision and playmaking abilities are better than Pogbas. Koke can dominante and organise a game, if its necessary he can slow it down or make it faster, it's all depending on the situation. Pogba is a different type of player. He is a spectacular one, sometimes he scores wonder goals or shows some magic tricks. His dribbling ability is fantastic. From there he has got his reputation, he is the perfect vine player and his personality relieves enhancing his popularity. Pogba is the typical box-to-box player, like Yaya Toure who is the prototype these days. Yaya runs a lot with the ball, but lately top clubs like Bayern Munich or Barca taught him a lesson. Nowadays you can't hold too long on to the ball because the top teams keep the space tight. In my opinion a free-flowing passing game is the most important thing in modern football for sustainable success! If things don't go the way it should be, midfielders like Pogba need to man up and start controlling the game, sadly i haven't seen that from Pogba. Players like Oscar, Fabregas, Ramires lack those qualities too. Maybe Fabregas can be more dominant, if only his colleagues start protecting him more, but the game against PSG clearly shows, that a nice guy like Ramires can't do it. Pogba as well as Koke would strenghten the current team immensely, my intension isn't to bash Pogba, in my view Koke suits a little better in Chelseas current team, thats all. I agree with supporter, who is by the way a fantastic User, that if its possible, we should get them both, that would make one hell of a team, hehe. Happy Easter!

He does a lot of things because of his speed. Nevertheless his technical ability is great, in my opinion its similar to Eden. But his decision making isn't that good, additionally he is lacking tactical comprehension. I prefer before getting Sterling, we should give Cuadrado a proper chance, but it seems Mourinho doesn't rate Cuadrado highly, strange. Cuadrado wasn't cheap and he plays best as a right winger, i hope that next season we will see him much more. Sterling is hard to get, Rodgers doesn't want to do a Suarez, therefore its crazy money. Personally i favour Koke and Varane over Sterling or some other fancy attacking player. All three of them would be very nice, of course^^.

At Shakhtar Willian played as a left winger because his right foot is much better. Maybe Mourinho can use him in that position someday. I don't think that we should buy Depay, this kid would like to play as a left winger, that isn't possible because of Hazard. In my opinion we have enough good wingers, sadly Mourinho doesn't rotate, therefore we don't need more average guys/talents sitting on the bench.

My first comment here. Verratti is a brilliant player, prefer him instead of Pogba. In contrast to Pogba he is the better defender and playmaker for me, suits much better in our system.
