Hope he dont go asking Falcao for lessons. Diving is my pet hate and it really winds me up no matter who does it. We have had our fair share of lads that like to give it a go and Ive always wanted to shake them warmly by the throat.

Ive been nervous from the start of day 1 and Ive been around long enough to not get nervous about transfer season. But Ive got that rumble in the pit of my stomach. Thought it might be a dodgy lamb karahi but its been going too long now. Ive been trying to search for an old transfer thread for Diego Costa but must have been deleted after he joined. Wanted to remind peeps what grief some of us gave the lad.

Read all the lists myself but it doesnt tell you from our neutral viewpoint. Cheers mate Sounds like he might be a good no.10 for us then. What we miss is a game changer. Someone who can come on (and if hes that good he will start) and change the game, The depth/alternatives we have up front are pretty much all similar so the opposition dont need to make any changes when they happen. Apart from Hazard who is a step or 2 up on most I bet teams we play dont have fear for the other AMs we have. Theyre good yes but thats just the same as some chick we fancy telling us that she thinks we are NICE but......
-
I must admit Ive never watched AM and took special notice about him. Thinking about him as a real neutral what are his strengths and weaknesses?
-
With our latest 'link' to Arda Turan just how many of AM lads are we after? I'm up for a few

Thats all well and good if youve got a team thats dominating in where you want to be. And IF youve got any ambition for us to make a place in Europe then I cant see us doing it with all the lads we got now. And we cant turn the clock back. Its not just us thats looking to build there teams as good as they can and also spend much more money than we do now. So WTF shouldnt we spend some of the money we have to strengthen the squad to a quality and hopefully age that they can stay together for awhile. If we sit back watching our PL rivals all strengthening their teams (Even if you might think theyre a bunch of wankers, which they are) we are going to be left behind and Im sure thats the last thing we want eh.

I'll always remember his first couple of seasons with us. He was a madman. Always getting booked and sent off but he calmed down. He does kinda throw himself into tackles, like Cahill sometimes, but I reckon thats cause hes not very fast. Remember the palava when we signed him eh. Even press stuff with him in a United shirt. With Fergie saying he was going to be the new Roy Keane lol We gotta remember Mou signed him and even tho hes made a few transfer mistakes (IMHO) he wont want to give up lightly on someone hes always praised. Altho I'll always thank him for Bayern I wouldn't miss the lad if he went. For some reason, dont ask me why, Ive never felt a bond with him and I find that strange.

I know I'm biased but IF I was Pogba, a young very talented player thats got loads of potential (AND I KNEW IT) I think I would like to play, at this age, with a manager I thought would get me to the level i wanted to be. Lets face it hes a rich old boy and if he comes to us or Citeh his wages arent going to be so much different. It might come down to who he will know at his next club and how much the manager is willing to go out of his way to get into his head and talk him round to his way of thinking. eg Cescy. Yes course its going to be hard but IMO if Mou wanted him he would do all in his powers to get him.
-
Dont you think that something we need is a winge/RAM that can stay out wide, take the ball to the byline before he crosses it? We have too many similar players that like to cut in early. I'm not saying this is bad but we NEED to have depth in players that will offer us different options instead of at best mirror copies.
-
I think youre right. The difference IMHO tonight was our lack of regular 1st team play. But at the same time I do think its a very big gamble FOR US to play him. IF we was a mid table team with no objective or ambition to succeed in Europe it would be great to play him plus regular academy lads. But its very hard to get that balance for us and Im afraid Id play a 'complete' player before him MOST games.
-
I should think Lolpool haven't stopped laughing over Torres yet so of course theyre rubbing their hands together waiting to get as much as they can now for a player that doesnt want to be there. He would be very good with us but we know theres about £10mill worth of hype and homegrown on his head.
-
No doubt in my mind about the guys character. Might be fantastic fun to get pissed with. Just saying his smiles always look forced apart from the one where Hazard was taking the piss out of him. Im just saying without his mate Filipe on hand it may be harder to keep him thinking Blue thoughts.

No harm in dreaming bruv

Salah in as part ex http://www.givemesport.com/591388-chelsea-to-include-mohamed-salah-in-offer-for-antoine-griezmann?autoplay=on

Im sure we could upgrade both BANE AND Cahill - Even now I'd play Zouma over Cahill but I know I'm living in gaga land I'm still dreaming of Varane/Zouma team up.
-
That would be a much better answer IF he wasn't still one of the very best in the world.
-
Chelsea have signed him. They cant be a very ambitious team.
-
I dont mind Lolpool getting Firmino but does it make any difference for their SUPPOSED interest in Falcao? Might also bring down Sterlings price.

, courtesy of Gianluca Di Marzio: Chelsea is interested in a new left wing back. As we reported earlier today, Mourinho's club is after Baba, who is coming off a strong season at Augsburg and anche performed well in the Africa Cup. The player's agent, Sascha Empasher, traveled to London to meet with Chelsea who offered €15 million, but Likely it will take €20 million to acquire him. Chelsea faces competition from Juventus for Baba, but they are trying to close the deal before the Bianconeri.

They seem to be able to sell good players and buy great replacements. They certainly do have that magnetism that players WANT to go to them.
-
With just 4 weeks till the US tour I hope we have some irons in the fire. Can just see how busy it gets on here in the closing days with just Falcao signed. (Touch wood that the Dippers beat us to him. Maybe if we ask them nicely?)

Much easier said than done to be so magnanimous sometime. When you spend week after week, season after season trudging up n down the length of England and around Europe. In these days of being continually told to keep our emotions under control we have less and less places that we can release our angst so what harm is there to show our disappointment if we think someone has let us down that plays for the team which we love? Nobodys asking people to agree with it. We all have a right to voice opinions whether anti or pro as long as its not violent.

Hes got good comments from his German fans on Youtube.
