What I'm thinking bud is Conte is trying to make plans for us NOT managing to get a CB. He seems to build his teams and formations to keep the ball away from our weknesses. So IF thats right and that hes trying to sell Cescy and looking at othe CDMs then it makes sense. He will stick a 4-3-3 with a Matic-N'Golo-Chalobah/A.N.Other and just try to stop the ball getting near our defence. Either that or play with a back 5 and let N'Golo guard the CBs I like Kenedy alot and have aot of faith in him having a career in the top layer of our sport. Its a sod that hes going but just like Traore it really might be the best for him and us right now. But its important that its drilled into his head hes an important player in our future and same with all these great young player like him. If he comes back like Moses and Square it will be perfect. Wasn't Conte tho that put him in LB was it. But he seemed to take to being a wing back. He did seem to have some goiod defensive skills so just MAYBE he would work out as a CDM But in GEERAL Im not a lover of utility players. These lads NORMALLY play in one position from school and trains for that place. But sometimes a players style/build/mind changes and he becomes more suited for a diff position. Which is different to using someone as a human Swiss army knife.

I like Conte alot. He seems to have all the passion,fire,temperment as Mou but with a likeable character. I cant see vinegar tits invading his box to give him a love tap. But I can see him shredding one of our lads a new one when hes coming off from being sub'd! If we get the few transfers we need then I'm off to the bookies to have a few more quid on us. I'm still excited until I see different.

I know its a bitch and it winds the fuck up out of us but you cant really blame them to drag their heels waiting for replacement or for K2 to change his mind and want to stay. But lets hope that he really does want the move cause I'd much rather have lads that WANT to come play for us than mope round the pitch with their chin rubbing the floor and hands on their hips killing time. Lets hope he teams up well with Happy and N'Golo. Yeah I know - IF HE COMES!!!

I looked at ours over the past 3 years and saw that we harly spent owt but now seeing it compared to our main opponents well I'm a bit shocked actually at just how big a difference there is, Nice job man. I'm sure that the board must go into these things only in much more depth.

I had a similar worry. I thought he may be a taller version of Happy (which is just fine) but with Happy not the best medium/long range passer I thought he needed a more creative partner. But someone answered my post assuring me he had watched K2 and he was a good passer and creating offensive moves from the back. I can see Happy,N'Golo and K2 getting on amazingly well together.

Remy wont be wearing Chelsea kit if hes still in London this season Not with the amazing pre season he's had. And seems obvious another strikers coming whover we get.

I still think theres a chance we get K2 or shirly we would be looking at more CBs. Only reason I can think of. But with all these reported links of us still running round for a CDM and offering Cescy about it might just be the case Conte wants to keep the ball as far away from the back line as poss and wants to go with 3 DMs! Last figures I saw from 201-16 says hes on £75k a week which is more than Dave/Bane/ppppMatic (till Conte offers him new contract coming up most likely) Happys only on £40k and Remys om £85 plus Pedros on £100k! But we are pricing RLC out of a move with his new £60k rise. Nobodys going to want to loan him unless we pay most of his wages.

Doesn't neccessarily mean that at all. While my initial kneejerk reaction was to pull my hair out and throw the PC about again and while I still might not like it I understand. It obviously means we are getting a Lukaku etc and with Diego/Bats we will be in great shape so Berty wouldn't see much apart from the sidelines.
