Tho that was always fun roaming roun a strange town like we owned the place I think the East Europeans have the whole hooligan thing sorted right, 2 sides of equal numvers toe to toe, no weapons, out of the way, no vandalizing or injuring innocents and not ganging up on someone who is down. I know it must sound basic maybe neanderthal to some but I liked it because clubs dreaded coming to us and having to walk from the tube. You know theres always someone not happy with him. Its either one or the other. We know Eden isn't the most consistent and has games where hes either taken out by the other team or is quiet for some reason. Then goes and does a 40 yard solo goal lewaving Koscielny and other North Londoners looking like blithering ijits and leaving Coquelin twerking on the ground.

IMHO I couldn't see him go anywhere else but Madrid. Even tho no I cant see him go in the summer.. Thinking logically he will see how well we have done this season, he likes being the center of it all and I can see he would like to try taking on Europe with us in this mood. With Simenon no doubt leaving AM next summer and not knowing who is taking over thats 1 reson not to go back there. I dunno how he would take to going to RM. I think the lad would do anything he could to become one of our best players. Hes got this urge to emulate his hero Drogs. And theres no doubting he makes no secret of liking our players and has only said good things about us. You've got to think he will have had some stick from his fellow Evertonians about this line up so big respect to him for giving it. I'd take him back in a heartbeat IF Diego was to go. What we have in Diego is a goal scorer. His job is to score goals which is something we have lacked a few years. Ive loved him since he came and cant help but get excited when hes on the ball and on form (same with Eden). What gets me is he was slagged off for not shooting enough and sould be more selfish. No hes doing just that he gets slagged off again! The poor lad can't get a break! We gotta work out what we want a striker to do ffs! And I put Rom in the same boat. I didn't really want to get shot of him when he left but he was a young guy with more tro learn. Hes still only 23 which is mind blowing and hes proved himself to everyone in the PL he can do the job. I'm just thinking hes been trying to add into his contract he would take a smaller release clause if it was to us. But even with Pedro doing good I'd prefer to get a right shit hot RW to work with Eden/Diego. Give him the same freedom Eden has and we got 3 strikers roaming free.

I think David is basically a deep pocket CM cross CB hybrid. He takes over the Cescy role and is the main guy to get the ball upfield to AMFs and WBs. He makes far less short passes than his other CBs but makes far more long range passes than them. So hes basically our main creativity.

We have a lack of defenders being able to get any air apart from Gazza so its a weakness that most teams in the PL have noticed and have TRIED to work at. So with the 100s of crosses/corners that teams have attempted to only concede the few goals we have isn't too bad a %age. With Europe in our not too distant future what we have to think is how we would alter our CBs, who would we replace and who would we bring in. Luiz I can see being our Captain. When Cescys not about we also use him as our deep pocket creativity. Hes not got near as many short passes as Gaz and Dave but his long upfield passes to WBs and top 3 is real high. Dave gives that great aid to Moses and while hes not tall he is our main tackler. Cahill I reckon needs an upgrade. If we could just use him for set pieces then swap him again it would be perfect but we need someone who is comfortable with the ball at his feet and able to start attacks instead of us hoofing it upto find Diego. The use of Moses against Gooners was excelent. He was higher upfield and we was getting the bal to him well. And with Pedro giong outside of FBs it kept them wide leaving 2 defenders in the box. I am totally gutted I missed this game. I went on a fishing hol straight after the Lolpool game. But managed to find a bar with a computer and managed to watch it on their telly. I'm sure they thought I had sunstroke or summet the way I was carrying on. Was there many Gooners turn up? Was they quiet? What was the atmosphere like? Were we on song? I felt sorry for the chap today. He was very close to having 3 goals for himself. The difference being the luck that you get when your confidence is high. He also eeds to start taking earlier shots IMHO.
