We really only got Cescy thats got a good head to see moves. Luiz can too sometimes and can boot it upfield ok. But Conte likes building moves from the leeper up and we need a couple of guys able to hold and move the ball forward and not SIdeWays

Alonso has his defending weaknesses and Cahills strenth is in the air, being our weakest CB IMHO of course. I think we should try to upgrade both WB and CB on that side. Not sure if bringing back Ake and Christensen is enough for us to take over Europe! I do think theres positions we have right now that we should dig deep to get true, proven class players that would undoubtedly take us up a level. Whether hes on a bad patch or what, could be many things,but it doesn't look like Koulibaly is setting the world alight.

You're dead right mate. He had some good games for us. We have had alot of good players who had their moments of sheer brilliance. Their problems were they didn't have enough of them. Look at Oscar. He scored some blinders. Torres scored some goals that I will always love him for and giving me one of the best footballing moments of my life in keeping his cool and leaving Pep with his head in his hands and Valdez and the rest of Barca a sprawling mess on the floor. Amazing game. But even in his last season with us I gave him MOTM for a few games. Just for a reminder The problem is alot of these players who we cant deny

Sorry but in GENERAL I would much rather pay for a complete fully skilled, trained in one position, top of his profession player over an academy lad or one who just might make it TO FIT STRAIGHT into the 1st team. Fair enough if hes good then use him on the bench as another option. OR If hes that outstanding then try him out with the 1st 11. But if you want to make an impression in Europe then we need the good and the right players to fit in the squad. Yes in a perfect world we use the academy to stock up but in their history how many have conquered teams in Europe? IF they were that good and we didn't use them then they would be outstanding in a lesser league in Europe somewhere. But sadly they havent yet. And our academy is prob the best in England. We have a couple in the 1st 11 now we dont use. Chalobah I think just might be great working alongside N'Golo. Ake just back will get SOME time till Conte finds right position for him, Aina not sure. Not sure even if Solanke is still here. But we fucked things up with RLC. Hyping him up so much and paying him too much. He shoulda been on the loanagoround. Now we see all our lads expecting the same when called up. Thats why if and when an exceptional young player pops his head up somewhere you get bidding wars for him.

I think Conte woulda worked well with him just has hes done with Moses. That goal he scored against Inter was a canon shot and will have boosted his confidence no end. I think we have let go of some players far too easy instead of working out the way to get the best out of them we find the easiest way to get shot of them. But thats down to the managers and their man management skills. Hopefully we got one now thats got that quality in his bag of tricks.

Just like Cescy its not that Matic is bad cause theyre both shit hot when theyre 'on' but its finding a good combination and set up to get the most out of them. Neither N'Golo nor Matic has any real creativity so they tend to pass sideways. We need one who is comfortable enough and capable to take the ball with him upfield to carry the ball forward instead of just booting it up trying to find someone to meet it.

I dont think our striker problem is Diego. As a striker he does his job. The problem we got is not having the creativity backing him to feed him AND Eden the balls so theres alot of times they are left standing with their thumbs up their arses. We gotta get a creative minded CB and CM
