Kinda agree But at the same time you would like to think that a club with a manager that had come in and did what Conte did. What nobody was expecting much from us, would have said summet like 'You did a great job mate what can we do to make us even better next season?" Like I'm sure shitty will have said to Pep. Its easy to say just do yer job and shut the fuck up and take what you're given but just put yourself in that place. I agree he took it too far but it would piss me off too.

I read today a report where ha said that we have done bad business in the past few seasons with transfers and he doesn't think that throwing money at the problem will fix it!!! He says with our academy winning everything there is the answer is to use more of them!! Now I'm all for us bring in the best of the bunch and I wish we had given them more time over some this season. But i do think we need that balance of age/experience and fresh blood. but that's where its so important to have a DOF with a strong footballing history and working hand in glove with the manager. I don't think the manager should have total control of players coming/going but I would like to let him have some sort of veto button if he feels strongly about one coming/going cause we don't need anymore collecting dust on the bench. But at the same time dont want us getting rid of good players just down to personality clashs.

Nah dont be. Its hard to go back on a thread like this and read all the pages. And it is a good vid. I wish there were more like it. Its very easy to get carried away by Youtubes as they can manage to make any player look good!! And sadly you dont get them showing the weaknesses of players/managers. So these are more interesting.

You would hope that the board /supporters/players would understand why he was throwing a fit more than a player coming out in the press basically stating the players he was with wasn't worth him playing with. I would rather have a manager fighting his corner trying to strengthen the team than some yesman kissing the boards arses thanking them for being useless. I think/HOPE we manage to get someone in the middle ground!!

I just read a couple of articles that I found interesting. One dated from middle of last season about how Roman wanted us to have another strong English core of players. But when i look at the ones we bought it doesn't support that. And another today from an interview Ballack gave about the links of him to being our new director of football or whatever title it is that we have been doing something wrong in the transfer windows in the last 3 seasons and 'throwing money' at the problem is 'obviously not the answer'! And he wanted to turn to the academy for more players. That scares me! I'm all for us cherry picking players and us giving them time more and more gradually. (More than Conte has but not as blindly as he has with Baks) I can understand the thinking behind us getting Drinks about how well he teamed up with Kante at Leicester and hoping it would happen again. As for both him and Barkley I wonder if Conte had played them as much as he has played Baks if they had come on any differently. Ive not given up hope on Barkley or RLC. I do hope that RLC has progressed more than I give him credit for. And I'm of the thinking Barkley just needs a manager to give him time and show some faith in him But I would bring in someone new to partner Kante as our priority. Its the position where we are crying out for creativity/

I dont know it matters about which new manager comes in with bringing in new players unless its one of the ZZ/Pep/Mou standard. When Conte came I know many of us was thinking/hoping he would be bringing half of Italy with him after all the things his ex players said about him. but they didn't lol Theres been a tsunami of water bone under The Bridge where Conte is concerned I'm sad to say. I watched an old interview Mou gave towards his last sacking with us and he said that when the media starts with all the headines like "When is such n such manager getting sacked" and "When is manager X coming taking over' it loses that current manager the respect of the changing room. and Conte got those headlines from a couple of games into him coming to us. and with our history of player power it was an uphill battle for him specially as not once did any of the board show any guts and come out stating he was our manager and the club was behind him. Nothing new there tho. Cunts. I keep reading that we still have full backing of Roman and he wants a more hands on roll but i cant see any signs of it at all. In a way I wish i could say sod it and be content playing mid table football but I'm like a spoiled kid right now being bollocked by my parents and just feel like telling them to fuck off!! story so far.............. I got a BSOD about 2am on tuesday AM and it fucked up my windows AND start up software. So ever since Ive been trying to sort it 24/7!! Ive only had Sky news for any sort of footy yalk and theres not been 1 soddin bit of news or even gossip about us!!! Guys. You can imagine how Ive been. Its very similar to coming off gear I tell ya!! So --- could someone PLEASE in a paragraph or 2 give me a rundown on the last 5 or 7 pages and fill me in whats been happening!!! Have to agree as I dont know enough about his management style. But he didn't do bad at Barca so i dont know just why peeps here are so anti him. I wish I knew. I admit I find it hard to like him but think thats to do with his character. Think from the start when he went out with De Bruyns GF that he had been seeing 3 years. And hes never shown any enthusiasm or want to play for us, But none of that really matters as long as he does a good jov for us while hes here. And if he fixed the big hole between his legs and gave his old man a bag full of gobstoppers I wouldn't mind if he sigbed his contract, If not he can piss off and we TRY to sell him.
