Unless they have bugged some of our rooms or key people, there is no way they could know that. Those are the things between board and Antonio, and neither would profit from a situation like that leaking into the media. It's all bullshit they create in order to sell newspapers and earn money from ads. Currently Chelsea is a hot topic for them. This is one of the reasons why it is so hard to win PL title 2 years in a row, journalists rip you a new one. Assholes.

Don't understand why people are so adamant to sell off Fabregas. He can be a very useful player if in the right system. You need top options. Fabregas provides that.

Lots of good Frankie Boyle jokes but this is my favourite.
3 Million for the funeral of Margaret Thatcher? For 3 Million you could give everyone in Scotland a shovel, and we could dig a hole so deep we could hand her over to Satan in person.

Sir Alan said: "Shouldn't the Prime Minister's critics really just snap out of the synthetic indignation and admit that their real point is that they hate anyone who has got a hint of wealth in them?
"May I support the Prime Minister in fending off those who are attacking him, particularly in thinking of this place, because if he doesn't, we risk seeing a House of Commons which is stuffed full of low-achievers who hate enterprise, hate people who look after their own family and know absolutely nothing about the outside world."   Tories saying others know nothing about the outside world. good joke there. where is guy fawkes when you need him?

Matt Miazga’s game by numbers vs Aston Villa:
    6 clearances -- 4 aerial duels won -- 3 tackles won -- 3 blocks -- 1 interception

Pretty solid stats for a debut game, even if it is against Villa. Was part of out first clean sheet in 10 games, I call that progress, confidence is key!

Ive backed up my point several times.
Hazard having dreadful season, talks about possibility of joining PSG. Courtois has had a bad run, talks about preferring Belgian defence. Lukaku openly speaks about joining a bigger club, clearly disrespecting a team that spent 27 million on him. Benteke slagging off Klopp for not making him no.1 striker when he has missed so many easy chances.

Belgian players are either stupid or so egotistic that they overrate themselves.

To be fair, neither Tibo nor Cech nor even De Gea have been consistently excellent this season. I think Butland has probably been the standout keeper so far this season (though admittedly I don't watch him as frequently as the 3 I mentioned before).

Even Aguero, the best striker in the league which most people agree with has his droughts where he sometimes goes 5-6 games without scoring. Costa is no different. But when they are on form, they really are on form.

Amazing servant for the club, never complained, always gave his best. That goal against Barca will forever live in my memory. What you lacked in technical ability you've more than made up with your heart, passion and work-rate. Thank you Rami!

What does Dele Alli think he's doing? First you join the Tottenham squad from MK Dons, you then fill in for an injured player and do a good job in centre midfield, you continue to do an even better job, then you actually become first choice. That's already quite impressive. But then you take it a notch further, you play higher up the pitch and you're level doesn't drop. What? You're arguably even better there and start producing great pieces of skill, scoring an ourageous goal against Everton. The nerve of that 19-year-old.
Seriously though, shockingly good goal. The run, the control on the move, the finish under pressure. That was a real striker goal.

I'm glad we have Courtois but it's hard to watch Cech potentially lead Arsenal to their first title in the Abramovich era
Hopefully City go on a run and win the title.

Man City's Premier League away results this season...
    First 3:
    W 3-0 West Brom
    W 2-0 Everton
    W 1-0 Crystal Palace
    Subsequent/Last 6:
    L 1-4 Tottenham
    D 0-0 Man United
    D 0-0 Aston Villa
    L 0-2 Stoke
    L 1-2 Arsenal
    D 0-0 Leicester
No wins in last 6 with only 2 goals scored. That's quite appalling for the kind of squad they have. City might be only 3 points off the top but how Pellegrini isn't under more pressure is beyond me. He has the best squad in the league and yet City are involved in a slugfest with the others.

This isn't the 70s under Clough, or the 90s under Ferguson clubs don't operate like that anymore. It's laughable to think Mourinho, or any manager come to that is solely responsible for ins and outs nowadays.
A Mourinho player is, for me all about personality and desire. Look at the great sides he had here and at Inter and Porto and the top players who gave everything to win.
Not getting the ones he wanted in the Summer, the board or Abramovich getting rid of Cech...and then non-application from the remainder of the title winners for whatever reason brought out the Hitler in the bunker mentality.Hazard at Leicester, as an example, was the antithesis of what a Mourinho player is. Talent means little without application and hunger

he's not even here - and could never be - but only the prospect of Guardiola really coming already changed my heart a bit about him.
I hate him with a passion - as the SOB he is and I have a few questions about his quality when he did what he did to that perfect Bayern team in less than 6 months.
He's not bad, I just don't think he's as good as people claim him to be.
All that said, he's the best option to be our permanent choice. Klopp would have always been my preference, but that ship already sailed.
It's unbelievable - I should stop posting my intolerance towards players/managers I hate saying I won't watch the team with them, I always suck in even before they're here. So all my posts about how I'd have a very hard time watching my team managed by Pep? All BS now and the guy could end up not even coming.
Once the guy becomes a Blue it becomes very hard to carry on hating them - only Benitez made the exception. Still can't stand his face.

Mourinho wasn't financially backed so why would Pellegrino?
Simeone to me is a born winner so I'd happily have him here. I'm not overly bothered about being liked by neutrals and I've never felt embarrassed being a Chelsea fan, at least not because of a manager not named Rafa. I find it a tad tacky that our fans get success but moan about the way we get it, but I think that's more of a Twitter thing.

time for Fabregas to put on the magic hat and quieten the boo boys.
The jeers for him were not just about what that woman had scrawled on a tatty sheet.
Think a lot of his were about performance as well ( like Ivanovic jeers ).
I like the fact that him and Ivanovic are ballsy enough to say something......now then...Costa, where are you hiding?

She can't even properly spell Hazard's name - which is a word in English. Don't demand too much from the lass.
When someone that is deeply connected to Chelsea FC like Pat is and even works for the club's TV, everyone is going to assume he knows something. The tabloids have said the same for months and Cesc didn't bother, only making statements in his social media to state his position. I think something extra is needed for him to clear his name when it's coming from someone like Pat.
I also believe like someone else that Cesc will drop it now that Pat came publicly to clear things. But he needed to show something else. As I said, some people never really got over his gunner past and others barely had, needing only this tidbit to go back despising him.
    I'm fully converted though

My question is: if Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Münich, PSG, ManCity, Arsenal etc are all pushing for beautiful attacking tikataka football style, why should we follow suit? Are there enough players to actually implement the right system? I really didn't mind defensive football, that has been our niche for a long time. The main difference I'd expect to see from Simone (compared with JM) is a better man management/better PR via press. So in that regards Simone would be the best candiate for the vacancy.

He built a good team last season and it needed further investment in the summer. He took players who either didn't fit his style or weren't willing or able to adapt or wait, and built a solid starting XI capable of different styles of football. He didn't get the balance right all the time but there was a foundation there.
Then what happened this summer? Through a combination of inept transfer dealings and lack of ambition, the board stood still. Whilst city improved, we fiddled and ultimately fell behind.
Jose is not perfect. No one is. But he knew what he wanted to improve the team and it wasn't given to him. That contributed to this season, as did some of Joses actions. But we'll never know what might've been.
And if he goes to United I reckon they'll finish above us in at least 2 of his first 3 years. That's why their fans would want him.
