This. Preventing a clear goal scoring opportunity is a red card offense, and is completely justified. Remy would have got there for sure.

Not to be a killjoy but where would he play? The midfield is already heavily congested as it is, and Cescy is certainly better at this point than Pogba, and he's never going to bench warm 5-10 games in a row with his fingers crossed one of our midfielders of either Cesc, Matic, or Oscar get injured or suspended, it aint gonna happen, unless I'm missing something here... I just don't see it being worth £25m + Ramires... £10m + Mikel... That might be a little more favourable! Or maybe Torres....

As much as I'd like to see him here I think it'll have to be 16/17 unless Jose changes his policy on youth playing. We could use Schurrle if all of our strikers are injured as a 3rd choice. Or maybe just include a recall clause in case it all goes pete tong? But for sure, Bamford will be big. Very big.

Before, he was here on a pre-season just to stay fit. Staying would be a step further.

Lamps extending his loan would (and should) be seen as an attempt to harm Chelsea's title chances and that would be unforgivable. If that happens then I will not defend him when he gets flak, as he will be deserving of it. Having said that, for now, I can just about restrain myself, though every time he scores a crucial goal for City it makes my skin crawl.
