  1. That's because he hasn't been played regualrly enough to gain match fitness. All of you are so busy criticising him when he gets 5 minutes every 5/6 games and wonders why he doesn't make an impact...
  2. I can't actually believe what I'm reading. Did you fuckers just call Matic awful? TC what in the actual fuck.
  3. Or use Remy as first choice RW, Bamford 2nd choice striker, and then Remy can fill in as 3rd if needed.
  4. Saying that Willian is a good winger is complete bollocks. As a pure winger, he offers fuck all to the attacking side of play. Salah is probably the best in this aspect, and has a higher ceiling. Schurrle is more of a second striker than a real winger, selfish, only squad player who shoots long, but if I had to choose, I would get rid of him. Because despite the fact he's a shit winger, he's a great at defending, which is the sole reason he is still here. He has the least end product of the lot.
  5. Once Drogba goes into his coaching role at the end of his contract we can have Remy as second choice and a youth player as third. Bamford, perhaps? For the current season though, surely Remy would be best starting on the RW, farming out Schurrle and keeping Salah and Willian as back ups for if he's rested or Remy goes to #10, until we get a decent enough RW to replace him, ideally Reus.
  6. On the experience over kids bit, Ramires has been with us for years and he's still shit, as has Mikel, why not try the young kids at least from the bench rather than stall them just for the sake of some minor paranoia? Loftus Cheek has to get experience to have experience, unless we want to lock him away into the Ch'shp forever, of course.
  7. He has downgraded his status from Legend to Hero. I don't love the guy anymore after what he did but in 30 years you can bet I will still be calling him one of the best players ever to don the Chelsea shirt, even if Messi joined, the passion would never be there knowing he came here just so he could earn a hundred grand or so more a week. After this though, he will never be quite up there with Wise, Terry, Drogba etc... For now though... he's pissed on the sacred ground. Fuck him.
  8. Pique? Not really an upgrade on the existing tbh...
  9. I don't have enough knowledge of the French league to refute this point, but the fact is that in the games he's played for us, he has been rock solid. Sporting are not a shit team, and in EPL terms they would be at least in the top half of the table. Derby are a strong contender for promotion from the Ch'ship, not exactly the worst team out there, and although his spell in the Derby game was cut short, he was again solid throughout. You cannot deny that Cahill at least needs a game off, and it shows. Once Terry and Matic go below exemplary performances, the right side completely collapses due to Ivanovic believing he's a winger in disguise and Cahill simply not being above par. It's true Cahill is a decent defender, and could happily play off the bench if we were to buy, say, Varane, but Chelsea are not an average team. We're supposed to be up there with Real and Bayern, but yet people accept a defence that can only prop up the team when Matic is shielding them. Willian and Schurrle are average attackers, and people here are asking them to be crucified for their failure to support Hazard and Costa. I know Bertrand almost certainly won't be coming back...but he should be, and the board are fools not to have kept him here, after all, how much longer can Ivanovic fill in for RB? I miss Desailly...
  10. Hasn't he been playing LW for Gladbach recently?
  11. He should at least be rested for a few games, Zouma can easily fill his shoes for the interim and it will be valuable experience for the fella. Also bench Ivan indefinitely or retrain him as a CB, we are only cheating ourselves by not using Azpi on the right. Recall Bertrand for next summer please, no need to spend when we have our own in house one ready as a backup.
  12. How are our loaned out wingers coming along? Maybe time for the Hazard - Oscar - Hazard layout
  13. If Mou didn't adore Ivan, I'd hope he'd recall Bertrand.
  14. Bastards took my headline. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2893663/Tottenham-5-3-Chelsea-Harry-Kane-shines-Jose-Mourinho-blows-five-star-Spurs-stun-Blues.html
  15. Yes but he could improve in all of these attributes with hard work I feel, and he is very tenacious. We'll see, if we get Khedira then we can push up Fabregas if we really need to.
  16. *Mikel Hazard Hazard Hazard Hazard Hazard Hazard Hazard Hazard Hazard Hazard
  17. So you join their direct rival? This isn't a fucking factory job, it comes with responsiblity, the emotion, the fans, and the professionalism that it entails. As Zola said, the players move on, the board moves on, even the stadiums move on, but the fans are a constant, and you don't lose that responsibility when your contract breaks. Lamps did just that, he took the memories the Chelsea fans had of him, and pissed on them, and is now causing death by a thousand cuts just to rub salt in the wound. He never even signed a contract with NYCFC, it was a transfer to City dressed up to decieve the fans that he 'had no other choice' and that's how it got through the PL board so he could play in the Sunderland game. Face it, we may have retired him, but he's decided himself to set up our own hanging. I highly doubt after this that Frank will come back and coach now. Didier for sure. Terry for sure. I'm sure if the time came for Cole we would do the same for him too. But after what Frank has done to us? I'd be against it.
  18. Oscar must buff up, a more physical Oscar would be twice the player for it imo.
  19. Reus and either Khedira or Pogba please, and lock Oscar in a room with only protein bars and exercise equipment over the summer. Oscar when buffed up could be Essien-like.
