I thought he did a good defensive job, had a few attacking bright spots and nearly scored save for some very good goal keeping. Although he did misplace quite a few passes. Meh. A solid 7.

Oscar was good tonight...
-
He said he needed to adjust. Let's not get carried away, it was an average team.. But i reckon he could handle a team like stoke, and I think Jose will start him. If it was against a top 4 side I would expect Zouma at RB, but not a mid table!! Let's cross our fingers, I really enjoyed seeing us play with width!
-
Fuck you, he's one of us, and he's going nowhere. I'll take the warning points.
-
Hold my hands up, i judged him too soon. What a performance tonight! I hope he steps up in the Prem too.
-
I like the width - I am about 15 mins behind though.
-
Was. Was a match winner, that disease fucked him up as a player and is now warming the bench for wolfsburg. Oscar had been played all through 12/13, that's why he was picked, while Kdb, as you put it, was green as fuck and better than none of our wing options. And imo it is 70% players' fault, 30% Jose.
-
We'll see. Kenedy is better than both Schurrle and Salah now imo. Yes, but Fabregas ended up with the playmaker role. And again, at the time KdB was not good enough to start for Chelsea. He left and that was not Jose's fault. Needless to say I disagree that he can't be a long term manager. It's uncharted water for him, sure, but apart from TalkChelsea every Chelsea fan I've met is backing Jose.
-
Schurrle and Salah ended up not being good enough. Mata was sold in favour of Fabregas in effect, and once he starts assisting again no doubt he will get praise again. As for KdB... he wanted to leave so he could play unobstructed by better players at the time. JM told the board not to sell him, they did anyway. We brought Pedro, who could still come good. And all of his players have gone off form, pretty much at once. When we get back on form I wonder where those who disapprove of JM will go...
-
Such bollocks. He really likes being here, he would not say anything like that. As for tonight I reckon he will put in a massive performance.
-
Time for a big performance from him and Fabregas. No more fucking about, get out there and do it or watch Mikel take his place back.
-
Top interview from John there!!!!
-
Mikel and Kenedy should have started imo but I'm happy with that!
-
Begovic Azpi Cahill Terry Baba RLC Mikel Kenedy Cesc Willian Traore Ramires deserves a rest for next weekend. Traore will never play but it'd be nice to see a change up top!
-
I hope Jose takes JT with him to more PCs, it makes sense to have your right hand man to back you up. Plus it's always a bonus to hear more CLL quotes.
-
He collapsed on the floor in the centre circle after the game. It's not your fault, Kurt. You gave your all, that's something that only Ramires, Willian, Azpi can say with you.
-
Cesc must be given a Pirlo role or he must be sold. l think only if we had Matic and David Luiz sitting in front of him he can go on here. Otherwise he is more trouble than he's worth.
-
His mind is at Real Madrid...
-
I guess Skrtel's elbow on him was coveniently forgotten then!!
-
Alan Pardew "I believe he can be an England international in the future. I've been impressed by his attitude in training... Middlesbrough is a high level but playing in the Premier League is a higher level, he is adjusting" Who knows, maybe he will get his chance.
-
Not for £200m.

My first choice for next season? Courtois © Azpi Cahill Zouma Cresswell (Squad Players: JT [Player-Coach], Papy, Baba) Pasalic Matic (SP: RLC [for either P or M - both can hold], Ramires [ditto], Cesc, Zouma in emergencies, and Colkett as this year's "RLC") Willian Hazard (SP: Oscar, Kenedy, Remy, Boga) Griezmann Costa (SP: Remy, Solanke, a senior striker) OTHER: Zola in as an attacking coach That'd be a good year for me. and all of those targets are attainable.
-
Clearly Memphis is the future starting winger in that team, Mata isn't an RW and if Mou says he will play, he will come back. Grudges usually aren't as severe as the media speculate, and Mata loves this club. If the terms are right, he will come home.
-
Mikel is 28, Rambo is 28, JT still has it, and Cahill is in his prime. And we have the French incredible Hulk, Costa, Willian, and Dave who give absolutely everything they can irrespective of the context the match is in. I did read the facts jibe just now. Sorry, wasn't aware of that.
-
Considering our striker gets no service with a CAM behind him as it is, imo leaving him isolated is a bad idea - unless we go 2 up top. Mata's probably available now that Memphis is with Utd, maybe we can buy him back. He would be the perfect replacement for Oscar if supplemented with a proper box to box CM.
