What? I'm saying what the players did wasn't right or proper. And it's not. Which is an opinion in itself, you have a different opinion, that's how it works; don't really understand what you're getting at.
-
"Roman, what the fuck" "We want our Jose back"
-
You're confusing honesty with my opinion. This is my interpretation of events; and yes I'd prefer to see the revolting (in both senses of the word) players sold and keeping Jose. And I'm entitled to think that way.
-
Oh, and that makes it right, proper, and acceptable does it?
-
The plot thickens. Every time I hear about this it angers me more, players should not be allowed to act or get away with this.

Let me go and buy Rhino's Skin some tissues to wipe the tears away due to the decimation that insult has caused. I'm sure he will not be able to leave the house for at least a week!
-
Then why do you not treat Jose the same way? He won the league last season and in his career he has won every major trophy. You can literally apply your exact post to Jose Mourinho who fans on here have been treating like shit all season.
-
In the Spain game Cesc was fantastic and he's had some bright spots this season. Costa on the other hand should have been dropped long ago.
-
He did what every manager in his position would; he stuck with his Champion team for as long as possible, tried his best to get them going again.
-
All reports point to Jose planning major changes tomorrow. Fuck's sake.
-
Can we buy their board as part of the deal?
-
Yeah, and they dug their own hole, gotta lie in it. I have absolutely no sympathy.
-
Play the youth, I never want to see those "professional footballers" on the holy Stamford Bridge ground ever again.
-
But it's not right and the players deserve all they get. Maybe they can learn the consequences of their awful actions; the players have been backed by the fans all season long, maybe they needed to be reminded what it's like to be hated
-
The more I think the more vilified I become. Fucking mercenaries leaves a bad taste in the mouth
-
This is how most matchday fans see it, how opposing fans see it and how neutrals see it: A spineless board caving into player power once more. We've sacked one of our own to protect a bunch of cunts.
-
At least he's a warrior and given his everything all season; he is one of the few who will be spared for his efforts for the team.
-
They'll get their fair share
-
Regardless if he played his part in getting Jose fired then he deserves all he gets. If. And I'm being considerate. Some fans on Saturday will not give him the benefit of the doubt.
-
 exactly how I feel and this is how it will go down.

Eden Hazard is not as good as either Messi or Ronaldo, certainly not this season. Ronaldo plies his trade at a plastic shell of a club, and Messi has never tried to force out a manager before. No it's not football, it's a fucking scandal and even if there's a place for it elsewhere, I'd like to think Chelsea is not one of that contingent - although it's beginning to look like it might be.

At the end of the day in my opinion unintentionally or intentionally the players have simply not been good enough. If intentionally, the the right thing to do is to terminate player contracts, but as a quirk of the massive money machine that football has become in the last 15 years it's financially irresponsible to see players worth a combined total of over £150m on the market leave on a free bosman (which exacerbates it), it has become an easy way out to sack the manager and this is the reason player power prevails, but Chelsea are an eccentric club and Jose bleeds blue, loves this club to bits and vice versa to the fans; a betrayal of that magnitude (as heard from reactions of fans outside SB on SSNHQ, identical to my view) is unacceptable and the board sacking him is tantamount to betrayal in itself. Football is not rational. This forum is unique in the amount of resentment towards Mourinho, but outside on matchdays in any pub from Brogans to the social club I have never met a fan who has not loved Mourinho; and if it's all a horrible coincidence that so many players went off form that the team was no longer functioning well it still rests with the players. Demotivated, low morale players with a poor attitude and few characters which even a manager famed for his motivational properties cannot rectify then for me the litmus test is whether the players perform well under the caretaker, if they do then they were exercising their ability to get Jose sacked for whatever reason; and if not then a squad rebuild is needed and players moved on. It comes down to that. The first will result in a choking Bridge atmosphere because fans will be livid at the lack of faith at Blues royalty, the second is self explanatory - the players are weak, and if that's the case then why not let Mourinho do the rebuild? This situation is not comparable to Rafa being appointed; firstly he got us results and since he was already hated it was fairly jovial. This time (hypothetically) a party within the club has brought down a club hero, and a lot of people will be angry and will show their wrath. Especially if (when) the press begin whipping up stories of player power abuse (and yes, the most obvious candidate is Eden Hazard) That's honestly how I feel, perhaps it may be irrational or even negligent but that's the only way I can see it. I don't see any good reason why he was sacked.

I'm saying if it turns out to be that he has been doing this on purpose, not that I think he has been doing this on purpose, it makes all the difference.

The Next Manager?
CurlyHairLikeLuiz replied to The only place to be's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Hiddink would be my first choice, otherwise Zola or a player manager in JT or finally Steve Holland - somebody with a connection to the club. If we end up with Ramos then the board can go fuck themselves, it's completely unacceptable to sack a manager of Jose's quality and replace him with an unknown caretaker. -
So he has a right to displace the manager? No, absolutely not. If this turns out to be the case then he should indeed be sold, it's completely unacceptable.
