Forgot to mention - Alonso is one big problem too. We all know what Azpi brings to squad, all of his defensive and leader qualities and if he can chip in with some attacking quality here and there it's even better. But Alonso offers nothing when he doesn't score.

Willian is just a headless chicken. Hazard had a game off, but it happens here and there. Willian was acting like midfielder, only without passes and physical presence. We needed something different (read: Pedro). Kovačić wasn't good either (can't really figure out why), but Willian was our main problem. Giroud was awful too. Kante avoids a lot of criticism because he "isn't playing at his position". It's not like he is playing as striker... When did Kante actually play that position? Drinkwater and Matić were both closer to defense than he was. Kante is not Makelele. I think people expect too much of him. He needs to be to Jorginho what Vidal was to Xabi Alonso in Bayern, or what would now be to Busquets. Why isn't Vidal DMF? Why was Verratti DMF and Matuidi was b2b? Matuidi is something closest to Kante. You always have one destroyer and one tactically smart player a little behind him, that's all normal. I'll overexaggerate now: it's like saying, Moses isn't good at wing because he isn't playing his real position.

I personally want them to lose all because they are club that can surpass us with trophies, as they are not so far behind us. And I dont think we could compete with them in EPL yet, despite of our brilliant start. I am content with strong third place finish which is realistic and healthy for a long term. Stop putting words in my mouth. He is not waste of space, he is just not elite in this position. He is good, sometimes very good, but not excellent anymore like under Conte. EDIT: Kante's passing ability is immense? People needs to stop acting as Kante is second coming of Edgar Davids... For Kantes' and their own good. His passing and close control are ok-ish, but he is fast so he can sometimes pull good dribbling because of that.

Problem with people who thinks Sarri is at fault that Kante isn't beast like before isn't Sarri. Stop overrating Kante and you will see what he is about. Giroud is immense player. He might not score a lot, but assists Hazard and co would get from him... really useful, and great to watch. Had feeling that Jorgi was more quiet today. Hazard... what to say. Watch out Messi, he is coming for you. Don't want to put Salah in same sentence with him. Messi is the one we should compare him with. Pedro good with improvising, Willian great to have from the bench. And I think Azpi improved from start of the season. I am surprised how well we are playing.

Give Fabregas and Bakayoko for him.

Trading him for some quality centre-back would be perfect. But in that case we should really sell Drinkwater and Cahill (maybe even Luiz) so Ampadu and AC could get more chances.

So our both starting CBs are crazy, great!

Good thing about him is he can fill at DMF, he can fill in CB spots. He should be in higher pecking order than Drinkwater and Fabregas, and on par with AC for defence spots.

I think he may be better as a full-back than wing- back.

Bringing RLC to the bench and leaving Moses out of it was a class move. Even our first XI really seems the strongest one, with perfectly adjusting how much can Hazard and Kovačić play. Only concern is - should Emerson get more chances? But, when you look at that this way: Let's say, in current situation, Alonso gets injured. Azpi switches to the left, Zappa to the right. If Azpi gets injured, Zappa comes instead, Alonso stays where he is. But, if we had Emerson on the bench... Azpi gets injured and we are fucked - neither Alonso or Emerson could play at his position. I would really like to se more of Emerson as he is much better than Zappa, but this all just makes sense. Really great management.

Kovačić, when there's need to run in defense and tackle, to be dirty, he is first to do it. That's great and I really like to see that dimension of his game. But he should show that kind of balls in offensive actions too. Come on Mateo, this is the chance you have been waiting for, I know you can do better than this. I mean, Newcastle cunts are not the most representative team to judge, but Mateo just does this sometime, playing too safe. I want him to drive forward with that crazy dribbling skills! Well, one thing is for sure. I can't see Kovačić and Hazard both going to Madrid. If it really comes to Eden leaving for them, our board will be smart enough to include Kovačić permanent buy in the deal. If he comes good for us, of course.

I'm so excited about every fecking game I could just JUMP AROUND of excitement! I think our players will become much more confident in their attacking qualities with Sarri. I never liked ALonso, but when we are attacking on the left, Kova could drop a bit deeper, allowing Alonso to overlap and create mayhem with Eden. Alonso will thrive in that playing. Also, Pedro is much more needed than Willian. We miss goals badly, no matter the results. Morata still has a long way to go, and I am actually fearing what will happen to Willian. I mean, what can he offer us this days? Dribbling? With Kovačić and Hazard on pitch? Right... Pedro is a killer, 15 goals should be no brainer for him.
