Does anyone know why Juventus didn't buy Morata after his loan from Real ended? They didn't like him that much, or Real didn't want to sell then?

I always check heights on different pages to be sure, they tend to be inaccurate.

Not true. Kepa is 189, Snake is 199. De Gea is 190, Neuer 193, Buffon 191, Alisson 191. So, not much of a difference, only Snake was long. But he is snake, they tend to be long.

It leaves a bit of sour taste not having buy-out option after all is done, especially to me who was watching Mateo since he was much younger and always admired him. All we need now is Modrić to leave too. That will leave Real with no option than to buy one top class midfielder on a long term deal, which means bye bye place for Mateo. If Modrić stays, they will easily sell him next summer and have power to convince Mateo there is a place for him.

Looking long termly - Real will for sure buy a midfielder in Mateos' mould thi summer - Modrić is getting older too. Alcantara or Pjanić I suppose. So next year they will have Casemiro - Alcantara - Isco in midfield. No place for Mateo and BANG, he is ours FOREVER!

His time in Croatia is a bit fucked up. He is great player, but Modrić and Rakitić were better so he didn't really have a chance to shine. I remember a lot of times coaches puting him and Modrić at midfield-two, and Rakitić in front of them. And a lot of time he came off the bench, like on this last WC. I mean, he may not be the best of goalscorers, but with some tweaks, with consistency and being most advanced midfielder - he could improve it.

One more thing - he could play at DMF role sometimes, if Jorgi is not available. He is not optimal there, but still a lot better than Fabregas. So, we could play Kovačić - Kante - Barkley / RLC, why not? We have EPL, CC, FAC, EL to play, there will be chances for all. We just need to offload Drinkayoko. Barkley or RLC could also fill sometimes at "wingers" positions, being false wingers. Both have enough speed to play that and have played that in past.

I don't think it is. I mean, if they have offered at least 180 millions, than ok, it's our fault a bit. But for anything less it's Reals' fault, not ours. He IS worth that, price is realistic. And I don't think they offered 180.

With this midfield we will create so many chances that Giroud - Hazard - Willian should be enough (for top 4). Kovačić is not great shooter, but could score at expense of his dribbling ability. Don't be worried, Willian and Pedro are old, we will replace one of them next summer with some goal-scorer and that's it. And get rid of Morata/Michy/Giroud and buy decent striker. Kovačić to Chelsea is too great of an opportunity not to take it....

OMG, I'll cry. Kovačić is Iniesta type of player, him playing deep is only because Real played in 4231. I know him since Dinamos' days. He is great at dribbling and short-passing. His best suite would be 4-3-3, GET HIM! EDIT: Only quality Iniesta had and Kovačić doesn't at all is durability, stamina. But he can work on that. Short passes and brutal dribblings.

Nobody is talking about apocalyptic BOARD-ABRAMOVIČ OUT protests. But step by step, we should show to the board and to THE WORLD how we feel. It's really not about the trophies, it's about the fact that we will be mid-table team if we continue like this and WE CAN DO BETTER. We have enough resources to be better, it's just that we are stupid. I mean, if our board had no money, I wouldn't say a thing. I would accept that fact and move on. But we still have enough money, we are still somewhat attractive club, and we are making all the wrong decisions.

I must agree with @11Drogba. I am hoping for protest, but I don't really believe it would happen. Really hope I am wrong. We were always discussing player/manager/board power at the club. But the ones which are the most powerless at this club are the fans. I don't think anyone cares about ours opinion, unfortunately.
