Alonso is pure shit. Championship level full-back. Get him the fuck out!

Lol, like changing to 4-2-3-1 would magically make Kante world beater. People are acting like Kante is second coming of Frank Rijkaard. Being it in 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 Kante is just not so important anymore to us. Even in 4-2-3-1 Kante would hold his side (right), and Jorginho his side (left). Only thing that was different before was that Kante had Matić or Drinkwater by his side, and they held their field sides decently... Jorginho can't do that, and there would STILL be defensive lapses. Not to mention that in Contes era Kante had 3 defenders behind him. In this setup/style Kante can't do it all, like most of you want... you can use whichever formation you want. Kante is everywhere, you say? It's much easier to be "everywhere" when you have so many defensive players in your team who could help you out and cover some ground. Stop f**king overrating him that much, he IS NOT our problem. I am baffled that people are still talking about Kante, when it's clear that our main problems are out-of-form Kovačić and shit RW and CF, of course with average LB and LCB. Gone are the days when we would win 1-0 on our bad days. Now it should be 3-2, with this setup.

Defensive deficiencies from this game were actually present in every game. Luiz is like this every game, Alonso for sure too. Even Azpi and Rudi. Only thing different was that our midfield didn't dominate the game like usual, and that our attacking line wasn't doing press like before. Whole defence played to their true level, or almost to it. Kovačić and Jorginho just didn't, they were below par, and there lays all our problems from last game. Not Luiz, not anything else. Luiz was problem since the season started, same with Alonso. As for Hazard, Willian and Morata - they need to improve pressing game, and Hazard could go in a gear up, he didn't look really good. As for others - only thing we can do is improve Kovačić and Jorginho, and improve how Luiz jumps in with his playmaking skills when Jorginho is marked too much. Everything else is moo-point, we can't improve this defence, they are pure shit, I'm sorry. 2 of those 4 needs to be replaced.

Getting Pulišić instead of Suso is really really crazy. There are a lot better RW-s than Pulišić out there.

Croatia is in total rebuilding mode. And we were playing with no fullbacks, even Kovačić got injured in same time as Rakitić. So I am pleased, regardless of League of Nation results. Congrats to England, man are they improving with every game! Kinda happy for them.

He was injured for England game, I think its not serious. Poslano sa mog SM-A310F koristeći Tapatalk

None of those are world class (ok, maybe Mbappe will be, but I think he will switch to CF or LW as he matures), or anything near, which kinda proves my point...
-
I find it weird that he is right-footed and plays on the right...
-
Reporter in Croatia asked him if Liverpool is going to be EPL champion this season, and he answered: "Well, they have Lovren, so I don't think so!" #Savage

Of course, in competing of who is shittier!

Where, in the world, in any top team, really exists true competition for GK place? What kind of bull is this? Only real competition I remember was Čech-Courtois for one year and Čech-Cudicini for some years when Carlo was at the top and Čech maybe still wasn't. Casillas - Lopez for one year too. All of that cases resulted of one GK backing off, except Cudicini who accepted being back-up. Courtois really is the stupidest footballer alive.
-
Jorginho and Willian. Kovačić in first half. Suspicious about Kante too. There are players which didn't screw up like Morata, but didn't do anything good either, and that's same shit for me.
-
He was in offside too many times, and he fell a bit easily sometimes. But some of those were actually almost penalty calls. I don't see any big "misses" or I don't know. Many players were rubbish in this Everton game, a lot more than Alvaro.
-
This team is what it is. Third or fourth place is a must for us, third would obviously be better and I think is most realistic. Only thing bothering me is that Sarri won't even try playing without Kante sometimes. Arsenal drew, United fell even in deeper shit after this loss so... not bad.
-
I am not even blaming Morata today. Willian, fullbacks (in attack), Jorginho, Kante were the worst.
-
Yes, like they did to Torres. Poslano sa mog SM-A310F koristeći Tapatalk

I agree with you. I won't be calm until top 4 is "secured". Arsenal is in top form, they are beating all the little ones with ease... And Spurs have Kane, great manager and players that play with each other for a long time, they could always scrape a win. They are both only 3-4 points behind us, if Morata and Giroud go AWOL we can easily be in trouble. And we all know what would missing on UCL again mean...
-
Last night's game was really weird. I don't know if it was because of the pitch, or really cold weather, but every one of our player seemed like he wasn't at his best, even Hazard. EDIT: Sarri agrees: "It had all the conditions to play very badly, with the cold, the opponents, the pitch, everything. I think we could have done better."
-
I think we would see more stuff like this if he played closer to goal... he has a decent shot.
-
Yes, Morata gets most CLEAR chances in our team. How many times did you see Morata going 1-on-1, or getting good cross/pass, and how many times Willian or Hazard? You compare players according to what their duty in the team is, not according to where they play. Why would every team need to have their main striker/scorer playing at CF position? I mean that's just oppressive to wide strikers... (/kidding) Let me bring in some statistics - Salah in last season averaged 4 shots per game. Firmino averaged 2.3. So tell me now how Salah all of that chanced made by himself, lol... EDIT: Last season - Pedro 1.8, Willian 1.5, Hazard 2.1, Morata 2.5 (take into account that he was shit most of the time so no one wanted to feed him with the ball, too)
-
I agree with BlueLyon. Salah is more of a striker in Liverpool than Firmino, he gets more chances than Brasilian. Unlike Morata who gets most of the chances in our team. For same reason you should compare Morata to Cristiano Ronaldo (LW) and not to Mandžukić. Or to Reals' Cristiano Ronaldo, and not to Benzema, who played supporting role for CR, even if he plays at central forward position.
-
I hope, if Kovačić plays, that he scores. He gotta find a way, he is our most advanced midfielder and should score here and there.
-
I think he is almost equally good on CAM and RAM, based on his characteristics. Same as Coutinho (only on LAM), for example. His injuries are much bigger problem...
-
His crosses are the same as before, I think, thing is that in 3-4-3 he had MUCH more space to make them. In that setup he had WB (Moses) and RAM (Pedro/Willian) occupying the opposition. Now, he is second on the line, and they are marking him much more tightly. Crossing from the wing positions takes more than just good cross. You gotta get in good position for cross with good pace/dribbling, and Azpi hasn't got much of that, unfortunately...
