  1. How is it possible that every corner of them was this dangerous. Iva, Cahill, Terry, Zouma, Diego and Drogba on the pitch. And a keeper of 2m (& no Zlatan). They could've scored four instead of 2. Very very dissapointed but to be honest our style of play was to be expected (and not wrong imo), the only real chance was the 1vs1 of Cavani. Many will disagree but without the corner threat we would have progressed for sure. Might be the first thing I'm really blaming Mourinho for: the setup of defending set-pieces today.
  2. Hint: he made a tackle when he still was a Chelsea player. So he's banned for 3 matches.
  3. Lol, PSG haven't lost at home all season and won from Barca. We play 1-1 there with the home leg still waiting: meltdown over here. Great result. I don't care about the way we got it, never did in the past and not starting now. Anyway calling it luck is far too easy. We almost never lose a game with this tactic, but apparently we're always lucky then.
  4. Ivanovic should have a 'Why always me' shirt
  5. And the 2 games before that Courtois was MOTM (liverpool away and at home), while Bradford scored 4 against Cech at the bridge. But you are right, both great goalkeepers. I personally think it's a good thing Courtois plays, even if he makes mistakes he needs the trust right now.
  6. Try at home: open your mouth max. 0.5 inch and try to bite something that's in front of you. Also I've never seen somebody head butting with his chin and I think that's the only part of his head where he actually hit Mccarthy?
  7. Sad to see him go, but probably best for his career. Hope he will be happy and successful at Wolfsburg. Great goodbye message from him on Instagram as well: https://instagram.com/p/ypNEBMAL2l/" andreschuerrle 1 uur geledenI want to thank everyone at Chelsea FC for the amazing time I had at this great club!! It's been a real pleasure to wear this shirt!! Thank you so much to all the fans for the great support and love you showed me!! All the best to the team, I hope you can win everything!! Great people!! And now I'm looking forward to be successful with my new team and club!!! Can't wait to play:)) #thankyou @chelseafc @vfl.wolfsburg
  8. I think the Cuadrado-deal is already done, we're only stalling because Schurlle-Wolfsburg is not agreed yet. And it would weaken or bargaining position to already announce Cuadrado (Schurrle replacement) if Schurrle outgoing is not agreed yet. Would be very surprised if we were to announce another incoming transfer today, except maybe calling Atsu back.
  9. Not the best thoughts off course, but I'm secretly wondering what will happen if we lose this game by refereeing misstake. If the official website is shitting the FA now already, I cannot even imagine what will happen then.
  10. Agree with your whole post, except with the examples you give. I can understand why those aren't investigated afterwards (even think it's not possible?). Better example imo was in the first leg: I don't think one paper/pundit/tv station even adressed it. But with the 'stamp' (which wasn't one) they are all crying over themselves.
  11. We should appeal with a 50-hour video message about all the inconsistenties, incidents in this year, expert opinions on stamps etc. Goodluck reaching a verdict before the City game
  12. Couldn't agree more. Did you wrote this ? http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/15116/9684301/chelsea-striker-diego-costa-is-willing-to-overstep-the-mark-to-win-but-thats-what-jose-mourinho-loves-about-him
  13. What should he have done in that situation? Didn't see the goal back yet, but I thought it made sense what he did there. Sterling was on full speed running on him, by backing off and not making a challenge he didn't risk fouling him (possible penalty and red card for sure). And fouling would've been very likely, since in that situation even a little bit of contact is enough if you miss the ball (like with a keeper on one vs ones). By backing off he made sure there was no space behind him, so Sterling couldn't get past him and he had a chance to block the shot or at least make it harder, giving Courtois a better change. Obviously Sterling finish was great and not saying it was ideal, but like I said I think it made sense what he did. Cahill had some horrible performances last weeks, but I actually thought this was one of his better games. Had one great interception and I blame Mikel/Matic organisation more for the goal then him.
