  1. He reminds me a lot of Diego Costa in the way he keeps the whole defence busy. On top of that, his desire and instinct to score are impressive. Next summer might be too late, if we want to buy for a reasonable fee an unproven but promising player we must move quickly = january.
  2. https://www.calciomercato.com/en/news/exclusive-milinkovic-savic-delayed-lazio-return-to-facilitate-ch-48784 So, apparently there might have been an offer of €115m+Musonda. Would it be awesome but I don't believe that for a second. We'll end up with Vecino.
  3. Apparently if we do buy Pjanic it means Kante is off. This is what they say in Italy.
  4. Ter Stegen ability with the ball at his feet ideal to Barcelona's style of play + Oblak top class goalkeeper = no bidding war for a keeper with only one year left in his contract. There's only one team interested in Courtois and only one team he's desperate to join.
  5. It won't have been easy but the translator did a really poor job. He clearly spoke about a lack of quality in midfield.
  6. Sorry to disappoint you mate but this is totally distant from reality. Oblak is a hell of a goalkeeper though, one I'd gladly spend Alisson kind of money on.
  7. Now with Alisson gone Donnarumma is probably the best available option left, and for a reasonable price (approx €40/45m). The problem might be he has a huge salary plus a useless brother who will come with him. From a football point of view he can make unbelievable saves and awful mistakes in the same game. Actually there have been too many mistakes only in his last season, more than Tibo has in his whole short career. Two season ago no one would have chosen Alisson over him, the first one was a bench warmer in Roma while Donnarumma the highest-rated young goalkeeper in the Europe (he could still be up there). Last few things: worse than Tibo with his feet, a real calamity, Sarri called him a sensational goalkeeper when Napoli played AC Milan this season (Donnarumma made a couple of incredible saves that day).
  8. Glad to have Sarri here but Conte deserved more respect from the club. Grazie Antonio.
  9. As much as I am excited for Sarri, €57m (+8) for Jorginho are ridiculous though.
  10. Sorry if already posted. Here you can find an interesting Nat Chalobah's audio interview about his loan spell in Napoli under Sarri. https://audioboom.com/channel/golazzo--the-totally-italian-football-show Don't worry, If appointed we won't just run upfront like headless chickens. Here's the transcription (in Italian) https://www.iamnaples.it/notizie-calcio-napoli/chalobah-gli-schemi-di-sarri-roba-mai-vista-parla-inglese-ma-non-in-allenamento/
  11. Great second half for Zap tonight with Italy. Best player on the pitch. We got some player in our hands.
  12. Diego will never play for Chelsea again, sad but true. Even Remy was in that 21 players list and left the club 1 hour later
  13. What surprised me most is that what happened with Alonso didn't teach anything. The Bolton\Sunderland level player is now regarded around Europe as one of the top 10 LB currently playing the game (yes I'm a big fan of the Spaniard). Zappacosta fits perfectly in our system, much better than in a back four, and has all the attributes to become a Conte's favourites. He's definitely an upgrade to Moses, who is not a proper WB, and he can also play on both flanks. Not a world class player but give him time to settle in and he will come good. Bytheway, he's faster than Alonso.
  14. We were after him since last season, or do you believe his name came out after checking for rwb on google? If you like to call him a panic buy feel free to do it but he's not.
