  1. United in talks with former City and Dutch holding midfielder Nigel De Jong. That would make their midfield complete, only spot left is a new defender. http://www.foxsports.com/soccer/story/manchester-united-reportedly-in-talks-to-sign-ac-milan-midfielder-de-jong-080614?cmpid=tsmtw:fscom:foxsoccer
  2. Has to fight himself in the first team again, obv has the talent but his form in the latest part of last season was absurd.
  3. http://youtu.be/OiBeJqPYwuY Willian last season
  4. Willian already proved himself last season, yes he can improve but he didn't have a bad season at all. Whenever he was on the pitch, you could see Hazard had less pressure. Willian can dribble and beat 2-3 man, keep the ball well and is very good in counter attacks. He wasn't super productive, just 4 goals but he does more than goals. He recovers balls, gives many keypasses, defends well and is one of the best high pressing attacking mids we have. Hazard, Willian, Schurrle are the 3 starters for me this season. A combination of creativity, goals, super pace and high work rate.
  5. 1) epl winners 2) fa cup winners 3) cl winners 4) league cup quarter finals Top scorer: diego costa (25-30) Most scoring midfielders: schurrle+hazard (15-20) Most assists: Cesc Epl poty: Hazard Cfc ppty: Matic Goals against in epl: under 15 goals, best defensive side. Other keyplayers: Drogba: subersub with 5-10 goals and many assists Willian: top season with 5-10 goals and second most assists.
  6. Costa is stronger, faster, better finisher, better dribbling skills, also younger, can play as winger and as second striker, great in linking up and assisting too. His brutal character and fighting spirit is also really important for this Chelsea. Costa>Cavani
  7. Bony is available for around £20m, rather have him than Cavani. Cheaper, Younger, already proven goalscorer in EPL.
  8. Moses is also back. http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2014/08/brazilians-and-schurrle-back-in-training.html
  9. Exactly, Mikel is really underrated here. He's one of the best pure CDMs in the world. If you have a 4-3-3 midfield with Mikel als the holding midfielder, he's at his best.
  10. He is very useful, reliable and stable. He's good at defending as a CDM. Those attributes like good at going forward, great through balls are overrated for a player at his position.
  11. Great news, Mikel is better as back up for Matic atm.
  12. Schurrle/Willian for Oscar, Oscar is too slow for the wing.
  13. Mikel gives us so much more defensive stability than MVG.
  14. “One will go from the squad that we have now – but I have yet to decide who. But it won’t be a senior player,” Mourinho said. I think it's Romeu he's mentioning.
  15. “One will go from the squad that we have now – but I have yet to decide who. But it won’t be a senior player,” Mourinho said. Think the only non HG juniors are Van Ginkel and Romeu, but most likely Romeu will leave on loan.
  16. http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2014/08/mikel--with-experience-comes-responsibility.html Experience comes with responsibility
  17. Based on this list, no. http://thechels.info/wiki/First_team_squad
  18. Mourinho feels his squad is stronger without Luiz, who joined the Blues from Benfica back in 2011 but struggled to command a first team place at Stamford Bridge last season. John Terry and Gary Cahill is Mourinho’s first choice pairing at centre-back, and the Portuguese tactician says he was happy for Luiz to leave as the 27-year-old was no longer needed by the west Londoners. “Last season he was not regular first-choice for us,” Mourinho said in the Sunday Telegraph. “David did important things here, was always a good professional and we will miss him as a good guy when he was with us. But from a football point of view we believe our squad is stronger this season than it was. “As a central defender he was not at all [first-choice], it was John and Cahill during the whole season.” He added: “In midfield he was a physical guy and gave us some important things, especially when we played in the Champions League when Nemanja Matic couldn’t play. “But this season Matic can play in the Champions League so we don’t lose that physicality. The fact we also have Cesc Fabregas moves us in a different direction and we want to move in a different direction. It’s something that our football needs and we want to go in that direction.” http://www.london24.com/sport/football/clubs/chelsea/jose_mourinho_speaks_out_on_50m_david_luiz_sale_1_3710943
  19. Mikel is the best back up for Matic, really underrated.
  20. He said the one to leave will not be a senior player. So my guess is, it's between Van Ginkel and Romeu.
  21. Nah, we don't have to register 3 non HG goalkeepers. If Cech and Courtois both stays, Mou won't register Mark.
  22. Chelsea will not be selling Oscar or Eden Hazard this summer, according to manager Jose Mourinho. Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with both attacking midfielders since the New Year and were thought to be willing to spend up to £70m to land their targets. However, Mourinho has insisted that no star will be leaving his ranks. He told the Daily Star: "One will go from the squad that we have now – but I have yet to decide who. But it won't be a senior player." This means Romeu is leaving on loan?
