Rumors around that he wants to go back to London and will reject City in favor of us or Arsenal, here hoping
-
True that but Cuadrado is probably worth like 5-10m now because of his horrible time here. Also with FFP pretty much 'eased' today by Platini we don't need to balance the book anymore, can spend whatever we want as long as it benefits the team.
-
£30m offer in+ Cuadrado in exchange, lets do this boys.
-
And that is why he will continue to do this next Sunday against Sunderland...nothing wrong as long as he keep bangs them in ins't it
-
Erm there is a reason why they specificly do it on purpose...because he ALWAYS FALL FOR IT. I mean why they don't do it to like Aguero,Kane,Suarez(well) and other top strikers often as they do with Costa? BECAUSE THEY DON'T REACT MOST OF THE TIME. This guy will look to fight as soon as someone try to grab him for a header, and that is good in the competitive sense but then he starts to take it too far and make it bigger issue than it needs to be.
-
He is not gonna ever be a Chelsea legend, maybe not even a long term option for us. Imo he is like a Robben who needs regular maintenance to flourish but instead of just injuries it is injuries+dickish behavior. There will be a point where it is not acceptable anymore and you can only go so far with competitiveness. But seeing all those fans defending you from anything I guess it won't help him to learn. Imo needs a Lacazette to truly challenge him, we can't carter to this guy and let him be our main man for the long term. He is too unstable
-
Yeah because we won't go out there and sign Cavani or someone who get us 15-20 goals
-
violent conduct standard 3 games ban
-
Yep.
-
Wait until people start to pray Costa' 'worrior spirit' go on... This was always gonna happen one day, thankfully for us it happened in a meaningless game and not the CL semi final eh...
-
Atm yes but who knows if they offer 100m and pay him £300k per week or something. In football contracts mean f.a really, especially at big clubs like us who don't keep players who don't want to be here. But then people are atm upset about the fact that they don't want anyone else to be compared with Hazard because he is our best player
-
Yes players are just employees of the club, we sell when it is needed. There is no connection or any of that as much as the fans think. I mean look at Mata, winning player of the year for 2 seasons and out after 6 months of the next...that is how quickly things change in football. I didn't say we should activately sell him, only if HE WANTS TO LEAVE and THEY OFFER WHAT IS MENTIONED IN THE PAPER. IF HE WANTS TO LEAVE WE SHOULD TAKE IT AS IT IS A PRETTY GOOD OFFER. NOT ACTIVELY LOOKING TO GET IT on our part. And to answer your question, yes Reus will fill that part. Either him or someone else which I am sure the club and Jose will identify if Hazard leaves. He is not a God, if he wants and decides to leave eventually we will move on just like we always have. We are not Hazard FC or a one man team, ANYONE CAN BE REPLACED whether that is Courtois/Matic/Fabregas/Hazard or Costa as long as we spend the money wisely, even if Jose leaves it will also be no the end of the world either as there are options like Klopp,Pep,Simeone,Ancelotti...etc out there but none of this is relevance to Hazard discussion. Basically to sum up my point is that if he wants to go and they offer a big fee, we will and should take it. If he doesn't then this conversation is a bit pointless
-
Stats: 2012/13, 2013/14, 2014/15 season stats of both: Appearances-Goals Hazard: 62-13, 49-17, 49-19 Reus: 47-19, 43-23, 24-11 Buts its ok...carry on because Hazard is a Chelsea player he is the 3rd best in the world after Messi and Ronaldo not even a debate init. Now wait until people start to talk about how stats are useless and Hazard dribble more track back more and all the other reasons. Maybe it is hard to prove who is better, but outright dismissive of the argument just because Hazard is a Chelsea player is just
-
Pretty sure at the end of the day it is still the club's decision and not purely Jose, although he will get a big say in it I guess. Agreed we don't need to sell, it all depends on Hazard really and so far he seems really happy to stay so we shouldn't be worried. However imo in case he changes his mind it is fine too if we sign Reus and Gotze+ getting like 40m left over from Hazard transfer. Reus will definitely score more than Hazard would for us if he stays fit.
-
200m haha you really believe he would cost that? maybe 100m max, 200m is basically just a joke they can spend 200m, 100m on Hazard is decent especially if they can sell others like Gotze for around 30m as well.
-
100m for Hazard is pretty good, we can sign Reus for 40m and maybe ask for Gotze in exchange as well as he has fallen out with Pep and Bayern legends. 2 great players to replace 1 great player with lot of money to spare and improve other areas. Imo Reus is better than Hazard offensively and his record proves this. He isn't as good at dribbling but that is about the only area he is behind Hazard, he is better at everything else.
-
This is possibly the worst transfer in Chelsea history regarding a player we sold. I thought Robben one was bad but at least he was injury prone as fuck back then, but this guy was told to fuck off because he doesn't track back enough and apparently not motivated/suit Jose's ego enough. At least we can comfort ourselves with David Luiz
-
Stock them up like pigs, feed them then sell. Rinse and repeat=profit. The Chelsea transfer way I like this, at least the players are paid good money to at least be set for life even if their career fail.
-
Undergoing Mata-syndrome at MU last season. Try and try and try but confidence is lacking+no support in a chao team with uncertainties in the atmosphere. He will do extremely well here for us if he comes, better than Oscar definitely.
-
If he was to leave this summer to join Bayern or something who should we get as replacement? Dave RB and Luis LB as regular? Maybe Rafinha since he will be binned by Bayern if Ivan comes? or Dave RB and a new LB?
-
He is a great player but not WORTH 80M, max imo is like 40m for age and potential. Anyone signing him will be like signing a Bale/Cavani...etc players who will play decent enough to not be labeled a flop but never truly felt justifying their fee. 80m midfield is basically a Lampard/Gerrard/Pirlo combined type, players who can run constantly and get at least double figure in both goals and assists every season.
-
What I wouldn't understand is why would he want to move to Turkey, I can understand about wanting to play regularly but surely he got to set himself some limit? I mean if Sunderland come in tomorrow and offer him 1st team spot I am sure he will reject them. Unless they are gonna double his wages or something but even then I really don't think he needs that much more money anyway, isn't he already on around £100k per week with us. PSG, Arsenal, Liverpool, Real Madrid or top 20 European clubs is fair enough...but Turkey where fans are willing to shoot the team bus...I don't know. Meh at the end of the day it is still his decision I guess, maybe it is just a rumor to drive up interest from other top teams.
-
Yep because after a double winning season the club will go out and spend 100m without recouping anything just to 'improve' the squad. Remember 09-10 season we won the league and ended up siging Ramires as our only big signing. I don't think we will go out and spend real big money unless a big name player leaves. That said we can still look for around the 15-20m bracket as backup like Cuadrado type, that is more realistic.
-
Hopeless, that is the only word I can use to talk about him atm. Really think we have been mugged for 26m, ah well.
-
Mikel played like shit...still got kept on while RLC did well and get mandatory subbed.
