CESC Is a few levels lower than Modric and Thiago. Remember what i said in the beginning of the season and how much insults I received, yet the past few games everyone sees it. Cesc is like Mata and modric and thiago is like david silva..... Cesc, like mata will blind fans with their one assist, but silva is the one that is influential to the whole team and game. That being said, cesc is sufficient for the epl, but in europe is going to be a whole another test. (CESC is still the poty so far for chelsea) and yes pogba would start over cesc.

exactly... Cb is going to be a huge problem later on and for a team like CHelsea that is built on cbs..... CB>CF>CA>AM>GK, order of priority for chelsea imo. Zouma needs first team action to really assess his ability. In france, he wasnt really that great reading the game, but people were also enamored by his athletic ability and age. Kind of like lukaku was... the one thing is that their isnt that many cbs in the market that can replace jt, which is the problem.

true. wrong words. i mean athletic. Lukaku plays like a pussy for a beast. Zouma positioning and reading of the game is no where near his french predecessors, but his athletic ability is probably the best since thiago silva and mangala. However, I highly doubt he will ever overtake mangala, kos, or varane in the near future.

Seriously though, Chelsea needs to give him a multi year contract, because cahill nor zouma is ready to take over and unless chelsea gets varane or someone else, than it should be a no brainer. Lampard was an easy decision, but JT is not imo.

I highly doubt zouma will be world class. ZOuma is the lukaku of the CB position.... Physical god, but not so great everywhere else.

Andy carrol fits chelsea as does phil jones. Both are english and rugged, but both are injury proned. However, they fit the makeup of the team imo. And OX.

This is why I find it hard to believe that Jose and hazard will be a match made in heaven long term.... One will leave. Question is who. i dont blame guys like cr7, messi, ozil, mata or hazard if they dont have good engines because they are not meant to be that type of player.

I think it would be Matic Moutinho-cesc with either oscar or willian on the right side in a 4-3-3. I havent seen moutinho recently, but when he was in porto he was one of the best cms in the world.

Hazard is not meant to be a player like rambo, willian or oscar. His body is meant for short speed bursts and brilliant dribbling ability and hold up play. Jose is asking him to do something that will not last long term with hazard. Guys like hazard, cr7, messi are not to be stamina guys where they can run the length of the field and play both ways and be effective. Messi did it short term, but definitely not after the Pep era. I find it difficult to believe hazard will as well long term.

Cesc is still Chelsea best player up to this point this season. You can play him as a n10 and maybe give Matic cesc role and allow rambo to play destroyer, but it seems rambo is hurt to a degree where jose doesnt play him... However, I think cesc would struggle under Jose and the n10 role. But, I guess we have to wait and see.

Cahill would be a perfect backup player. However, Chelsea will soon need 2 cbs after JT retires or declines... Zouma is not ready to take over. I still believe Phil Jones if available would be the perfect cb for Chelsea, but that is a pipe dream.

I have a feeling that Costa will not be great after 30... Kind of a peak version of Lukaku, except with better mentality and agression. Chelsea going to need to find a replacement in 2-3 years imo.

If City payed crazy money for Mangala, you can bet Varane will go for even crazier money.

2 Brazilians need to start every game for chelsea(not counting luis or costa)... So, rambo/willian, willian/oscar, or oscar/rambo. Chelsea is not athletic enough without them and it will show and expose cesc, matic, jt and cahill.

Torres was done by the time he came to Chelsea. It was evident towards the end of his time in Liverpool, in Spain and now in Milan. Juan Mata situation is a perfect example. Juan Mata didnt just become a fringe player over night and didnt become world class all of a sudden. Lampard the team revolved around his strengths and hid his weaknesses. It allowed a so called CM to be the most forward player on a team in EUROPE. CHELSEA never revolved around stat padding DROGBA. Actually the last statement is where I know you dont watch barca. It is evident in catalonia, that everyone needs to pass it to Messi, which includes both suarez and neymar. Which is why catalonias really are considering whether Messi is the best situation for them moving forward with a team that already consists of 2 high powered forwards in the likes of neymar and suarez. Messi is further back now in enriques team, but Messi is still the key for barcelona and everything still revolves around him... Neymar in 9 starts in la liga= 11 goals after coming back from injury in world cup with 0pks, 0 fks. Messi in 13 starts in la liga= 10 goals with pk and fk responsibilities.
