He started for Pep and kroos was benched (during that whole time they had reports of Kroos wanting more money). Next season, Kroos or bastian should leave, because I can imagine Pep buying another midfielder and defender.

Thiago going to replace him under Pep. Thiago was the heir to Xavi. He makes the midfield click so much faster, hes more dynamic, passes and presses better. Kroos is stronger with a better shot. Had thiago not gotten injured, the result would of been a lot different imo. Also, I don't think Bastian will retire at Munich.

He can join Man United all he wants because next season he will be replaced by Thiago

kroos is terrible in the pivot. he is so slow. Did you see how many times Kroos was walking leisurely when Madrid counter...

Pep's first mistake was starting both Kroos and Bastian. IMO Kroos should of been bench for Javi Martinez. Second mistake was not starting Gotze. Losing Thiago was huge in both legs. Thiago is the perfect possession player for Pep and is a ton better than Kroos. Final note: No team has ever won back to back, so, it shouldn't be a huge surprise that they lost. Next season Munich team will be better.

Liverpool were pretty bad today. They had less than a handful of legit opportunities and their so called powerful offense was no where to be seen. I'm glad they lost today and hopefully they don't win the title. They had 0 games in europe and lost early in both their cup tournaments. They simply don't deserve it, but than again I thought United team last season didn't deserve it as well.

My team would be DDG Coleman-JT-Cahill-Dave Matic/Fernandinho-Yaya-Silva -Aguero-Suarez-Hazard From the time Matic was acquired, I think Matic is worthy of TOTY. If not, I would put in Fernandinho. How David Silva is not on the team is a complete joke. I would even say he was City's best performer this season, not Yaya (minus injury record it would be Aguero).

The three Spaniards should of been on the team instead of the two english players +Cech... Kompany? JT for me. If we're disregarding amount of games than Aguero should of been in the squad as well. PFA team of the year and POTY is a joke.

Point was how many of you (not you in particularly) were saying that we cannot win without Hazard. I would obviously rather have Hazard on the team, but to say he is the team is a complete ridiculous notion. I think what bothers me a lot is when people say "we need hazard to win", rather than Hazard puts us in a better position to win.

People are looking too much into Bastian 2012 season when he was playing injured throughout the season and Euro 2012. Vidal is good in all those things, but Bastian is a level better. However, I do agree Vidal has fantastic physical traits and probably the best box to box in the game.

Why am I a bitter United fan? Your being naive thinking United is really that far away. 4 key signings is good enough for them to fight for top 4 and title. Liverpool have a shit backline and a subpar CM combo. So, when we went to Old trafford, we drew United when they were all fit..Somehow, they are that far away from title contention though.... So, if Eden Hazard was injured for a long period of time, you really think we would be in title contention this season? Take away Suarez, you really think Liverpool would be anywhere near title contention? United's two best players were injured long term this season.

Liverpool finished 28 points off with Europa competition and 7th place last season... What? How can you assess their unity when we had how many managers within the past few seasons and how many players come in and out of the team.
