To be honest... anything to fuck Arsenal's hopes of a top 4 finish will be approved by me. I hope the 2 Manc sides, us and Tottenham finish in the top 4, i'm not even too fussed on the order as long as we're in it and Arsenal aren't. My only thought now is why the fuck are Tottenham pissing about with Jermaine Defoe? He's their best striker and has been one of the best premiership strikers for 10 years yet he's not seen as first team. He only played the last 2 games because they had no one else and now they want Remy. Defoe will be 3rd choice again. I bet Defoe goes to Arsenal.

No because i said the Madrid Barca game shoulda gone to Extra Time and pens. We won on pens, we genuinely won. I would just rather win on aggregate than win on away goals because i simply see it as not beating your opponents. I would've accepted away goals against Barca because of how they celebrated when they beat us on away goals in '09 but winning on agg is so much sweeter. And yes it's harder to score away, so it's easier to score at home. Why Madrid only score 2 at home then and Barca 3. It's equal to me, you lose 2-1 but you won 3-2. A win is a win and look at the winner? Valdes trying to run round Di Maria and Di Maria blatantly fouled him and scored an open goal. When it's 2 clubs from the same country, away goals is crap, especially for a trophy so small. I prefer how the Spanish League uses head to head before goal difference though. It seems fairer that way. At least Man City did genuinely beat Man Utd twice and in affect, the 6-1 was the title decider as the goal difference was from that game.

He should and most likely will get player of the month. Hopefully Robbie gets manager of the month too. Federici will get twat of the month. Did anyone see he fucked up again yesterday lmao.
-
I hate draws. No team should win because of being equal. Man City winning the prem on goal difference is as bad as it gets but Real Madrid all having orgasm's and celebrating with a trophy in a 4-4, i hate it. It's probably my most hated thing in football. If you're good enough, win right? yeah they won 2-1, but they lost 3-2, why do they win. Just crap. Man Utd and Man City shoulda had a one-off final at Wembley for the title or a 2 legged decider. Real Madrid and Barca shouldn't have had away goals. It shoulda been extra time and pens. When i watch football, i want to see a genuine winner. BORING.

Higuain is good but probably the worst finisher in european football.

That's just unbelievable. That shop should get smashed up. named after his business partner's grandfather my arse. why the Nazi sign then in the 'i'? Mad world.
-
What a shit 2nd half. Real Madrid had a real chance of sending out a big message today. 2-0 up, against 10 men, creating chance after chance then in the 2nd half they don't do anything. Barcelona deserved to go through because or Real Madrid's boring approach in the 2nd half. They coulda stuffed Barca today but no.... held on for a 2-1, 4-4 away goals win. Really wish Messi had banged that last chance in. Woulda been what Real deserved. The away goals rule is shit.

As holders, we should be able to chose our group
-
Ok. Simple really. I want: Chelsea Braga Anderlecht Nordsjælland Arsenal PSG Valencia Dortmund Barcelona Juventus Man City Celtic
-
Real Madrid are absolutely battering Barcelona atm. It could already be 6-0 and Barca have had a man sent off. 2-0 so far. It will be more. 2-1 H/T. Is there anything Messi can't do? Fucked up. Barca aint been in this game yet they're still in it.

That is quality, really good work. Only 5 likes simply because only 5 people have bothered to click the link i bet. Catchy song and to the point, great lyrics.
-
Absolute rape job going on at Goodison for sure. I hope Everton score another 6 just so we can laugh at Barry Hearn. It's always nice to see hammerings anyway.
-
Just looks bad seeing Man City, Dortmund and Juve below Braga. Just not cool lol. Well then i can 100% definitely say i want Braga. No disrespect to them, i think they beat Arsenal 2 seasons ago in the group anyway but i don't think there will be many weaker pot 2 teams than them. Wouldn't mind getting Celtic tho tbh, i'd enjoy that, as may the Rangers bunch as they are missing their Old Firm clash for a while. We might get Lille and Kalooo(b)ooooou.
-
Wales vs Belgium, wow bad for Wales and then Wales are away to Serbia? Lmao good luck. Oh and Scotland are in the same group, fucking brilliant. I'm looking forward to a few derby games coming up. Can see some 'serious foul play' in the Croatia - Macedonia game. Also Iceland vs Norway could be interesting. I like watching these qualifiers because u play countries you never played before rivalries get renewed and stuff. Oh and Austria vs Germany is also there coming up.
-
How can Braga be in pot 2? Anyway i'll say who i want when i actually genuinely know who's in what pot. We obvioiusly want as easy a group as possible tho with the other prem clubs getting as hard as poss. That's just obvious.
-
He shoulda stayed with us for the Super Cup and Club World Cup then left us in January.
-
He passed his medical at 3:45am? wow. Still think they will use Gomez up front tho. I think it's a good move for Martinez. They are a huge club and it's a step up from Bilbao. The German league is a good league, not as big as the BBVA or EPL but maybe he's working his way up bit by bit. He'll get more recognition at Bayern to then maybe go up to the highest level to then come to the Prem or go to Barca - Real.

Read the last few pages to save your confusion. Altho i never quite thought that Raheem Sterling getting 2 women pregnant in 2 weeks would feature in a Oscar thread but hey.... Only on Talk Chelsea folk's!
-
Rodgers is a great manager. He doesn't care about dropping players if he knows they are useless. Was a brave move putting in Raheem Sterling against city but a very good move indeed. Downing should go to a team like Wolves or anyone in the 2nd tier because he is genuine shit. btw there were some stunning goals in the League Cup last night, Figueroa's for Forest was a stunning hit, there were 3 in that game that were ridiculous. Also Bosingwa scored for QPR lol. Some very good games indeed including Stoke 3-4 Swindon.
-
His buy out clause was £15m. Why did we not just take him? Tottenham have just got themselves a great player for next to nothing. Good move from Moussa tho and very bad news for Fulham. That performance against Man Utd sealed the deal i suppose.
-
I was one who thought Kakuta could be a star but it just hasn't worked out for him. He showed bags of confidence in our youth sides and out on loan but when it came to the next level, he lacked confidence and tried too hard to impress. He doesn't have the right menal state for a big side, reminds me of SWP. Can't wait for him to go now and get back on track.
-
I'll go with BluesMaster
-
Joe Cole always said that London is where he wants to be so good luck to him. Apparently Liverpool are planning a £15m bid for Sturridge. Personally i think it's a good offer but i wouldn't want him going there.

As opening posts go.... yeah not bad. I can answer some questions tho. What if hazard won a penalty every game? Already failed because it was Torres who won it against Newcastle lol. Well, Bayern would've won the UCL quite simply lol. There are billions of "What if" questions in the world but Hazard won't be in that category. I just hope in a few years we're not asking "What if Hazard just stayed at Chelsea for a bit longer" or "What if Hazard never got that injury". he could be one of the greatest players in our history. Friday's game is a big step up from what he's played so far tho. I'm interested to see what he can do so early in his Chelsea career in a game as big as the super cup. Anyway we should just sit back and enjoy him. Anyway, Welcome to Talk Chelsea if indeed this is not you're one hit wonder post.
-
Big fail. I don't even rate him myself. He scores the odd decent goal with lots of penalties but with the pace and ability he has, he should do a lot more with the ball than what he actually does do. He's not even dangerous. He should stay at Swansea because now, his career will slide.
