  1. Very proud of that England performance considering some of the shit that went on in that game. That Turk ref deserves to be run over by a bus on the way back to the airport, piece of shit cunt. Amazed he actually gave us a pen in the end but it was so blatant. This was a good game for the youngsters in such a pressure situation, they would've learn a lot and got good experience from it. Very relieved we got the draw in the end, Lampard man of the match again too. I was so nervous when he stepped up for that pen i must say. 1 point gained, tough game but good character shown. We missed like 3 open goals, seemed like it wasn't meant to be, just one of those days but thankfully we got a draw and move on. Very tough match next though on October 12th, not sure if we're good enough to beat San Marino but we're at home so i'm sure we can do it.
  2. Southampton winning at the Emirates, hmm can't see it but i remember Hull not long ago winning there. I bet on Football only but i might occasional see something that looks appealing (Like England to win the Ashes 5-0).
  3. And he's been warming the bench ever since. I still think he wanted to go back though. When your boyhood club in your home city is the best team in the world, there's a decent chance you might want to go there.
  4. Well... he had a decent excuse to get out of there, "no trophies... how can i leave. Ah yep, i miss home".
  5. Done a couple of bets The rematch between Algeria and Libya in October is gonna be tasty, massive brawl after that last match a few days ago. Tasty. I hope England win today, if we can win the group as soon as possible, it will be a very good thing indeed. Will be tough today but i reckon we'll sneak it 1-0 or something. I think Scotland will fuck up against Macedonia.
  6. Done a couple of bets but this one is 86/1 or something like.
  7. Quite a surprise really, still.... they have beat them in a UCL final and 2 KO rounds in a row 2010 and 2011 and took Henry and Fabregas (And Overmars & Petit) but still a bit surprised. They aint even in the same league, pathetic team (Suppose you'll show me a Chelsea one next with Barca top...)
  8. Most Arsenal fans i know (I knew a few, sadly) don't really care much about the Fabregas thing because they appreciate what he gave them and know he loves Barcelona. If he joined an English team, it would be different but he joined Barcelona, the team he loves and grew up with as a boy. Arsenal fans hate Nasri and Man City more than Barcelona. Think i'd say they hate Tottenham the most, then us, then City.
  9. Every Arsenal wanted Barca to smash us. We don't like Barca but i reckon most on here would go for Barca if they played against Arsenal just to see Arsenal suffer. I certainly would. I don't ever want to see Arsenal win the UCL. I'll die happy if i've never witnessed what would be a very dark day in my life. So far i've seen Chelsea win everything in Europe and England and i've never seen Arsenal win the UCL or Super Cup and never seen Liverpool win the league. I'm happy for that, been a good 18 years tbh.
  10. They sold song, everyone thought Arsene had lost the plot again.... Diaby came back and has been great for them. I actually think he's better than Song, always rated him. He neeeeeeds to be injured, hope he's out for ages but probably won't be. i hope we beat them again soon, i'm getting withdrawal symptoms. Like when you go ages without sex or when you want the sun to shine when you're freezing your arse off in January or when a cigarette smoker goes 6-7 hours without a one. I just want us to beat them again, they annoy me horribly. And for the record, this Arsenal invincible era is a load of fucking shit and that's why i'll always hate Ruud Van Nistelrooy because if he had scored 'that' penalty, this 'invincible's' bollocks would never have happened, it still pains me if i'm honest. Fine lines they say, does anyone remember the season after? 2004/2005 we lost how many games? 1. Do you remember how? We lost 1-0 to Man City through an Anelka penalty. The penalty was given for a foul from Paulo Ferreira pulling back Anelka which was OUTSIDE the box which the ref thought was inside the box and we lost 1-0 because of that. We should be known as the invincible's instead of them. We won more trophies in that season than Arsenal did in 2004 and we gained more points in the league then they did in '04. And anyway... Invincible's? Do you really call a team invincible when they get knocked out of the FA Cup and the Champions League in the space of 3 days which they did? Nah i think not. I hate their invincible's tag. I see invincible as a team that win every trophy and go unbeaten in EEEEVERY tournament. Take last season for example. We were pretty crap but we showed a hell of a lot more bottle than Arsenal showed in their 'indivisible' season. We stuck in there and won the biggest prize of all. All i have left to say is Fuck. Arsenal.
  11. Gotta trust them i guess. Eddie see's them in training and probably knows them more than we do. I personally would like to see Ramires in CM but so do the rest of us so obviously us fans see different things to what they see. Rami got his goals against Barca and Liverpool from the RW position. If this is our 'best team' let's just hope they justify it. Lampard being 'someone you should hold back' is in his best XI too therefore not being held back. He is right though actually, TODAY this is our XI, it doesn't necessarily mean it will stay it.
  12. So we're all in agreement to ditch the 4-2-3-1 and put Rami back where he belongs and bring back the real Chelsea which is 4-3-3 standard!
  13. Would you guys prefer to see Ramires in a double pivot or in a midfield 3? Lampard (Mikel) - Ramires Or Lampard - Mikel - Ramires
  14. Cahill all day for me, there's no reason to say otherwise imo. English, in the back 4, has captained before i think and possesses real leadership qualities. Vice captain.... Ivan.
  15. They still sell those JT cigies? I remember that saga lol was jokes. my last purchase... hmm dunno. £60 from this menu last night. http://www.iguanas.c...S12L Food_2.pdf http://www.iguanas.co.uk/sites/default/files/SS12L%20Drink_2.pdf
  16. I dunno why but i always look forward to watching Scotland play. This game's so hard to predict, was gonna do a bet but i honestly don't know what to put. Maybe Scotland will nick it by the odd goal as they're at home but Serbia's back 4 is so experienced and solid if it's the 4 i think will play. Interesting game. Oh and P.S ... Moldova aren't better than they were 16 years ago lol. Hopeless side so i'll take that back right now judging on their performance against us.
  17. RIP, absolute horrible news. What's it gonna take for something to get done about their poor record? Is this really what that were waiting for? Shocking.
  18. Depends on the situation, if we need a goal late on, it could be like a corner with the defenders going up. JT, Ivan, Cahill are all good attacking set pieces. If not, maybe Huth OG
  19. Awesome :eyebrows: Be great if we scored against Stoke with it.
  20. Really, another thread with our own supporters mentioning that we bought our success? Really? I hate Man Utd fans more than i hate the actual club, they are arrogant and cocky but then again, they have a right to be i guess. Bit like Liverpool but at least the Man Utd fans have all seen the clubs success. Liverpool have to watch ESPN Classic and read books and Video's. For the record, we won trophies in 1997-2000 without spending much at all. Matthew Harding, the guy that had our money died and this really fucked us up leaving us high and dry (Sure i've said all this before). In the 90's we bought players who were coming towards the end of their careers on the cheap or on free's. We've not came outside the top 6 since the 95/96 season and when Roman Abramovic took over Chelsea, we had already qualified for the Champions League for the upcoming season unlike Man City who were struggling against relegation before firstly the Thai guys took over, then the Arabs took over. We've been in the Premiership since it's foundation in 1992 and we've never came out. Also... every team in the whole world has an owner. Ours has more money than most, deal with it. Tottenham, Arsenal, Newcastle, Man Utd, Liverpool, Everton.... they all have owners. Every team has spent money on players, just because our owner is a billionaire who actually loves our club and is willing to help the club out of debt and buy more expensive players to make us the best, it's seen on as Cheating or unfair? When someone points out what Roman has done illegally, come back to me. In the mean time, he's loaded, we're loaded and we're the Champions of Europe. Enjoy it, i am.
  21. In FIFA 12 he has the long throw trate so i'm assuming he possesses a long throw unless FIFA is weird. Maybe we can use them as a weapon Delap like.
  22. SAMSUNG looks good on the shirt. I think £15m seems ok, it's not that bad. We have many sponsors and partnerships and a mega rich owner. All is fine.
  23. Group A is a pretty beastage group to be honest. There's no what you would call great teams but there are also no poor teams, this could be the tightest group of all. I wouldn't fancy going away to Serbia, Macedonia and Croatia because they are so tough and intimidating to go, very solid, tough nations. I reckon it will be the group with the most red cards though, so many derby matches. Serbia borders both Croatia and Macedonia and all the countries used to be together as Yugoslavia. And with Scotland and Wales both part of Britain it's gonna be very tasty. Also, with a team like Belgium, this is without doubt the most talented Belgium i've ever seen it's gonna be so hard for any team to get out of it. The other groups look pretty boring in comparison. Italy will cruise through Group B Germany will cruise through Group C although there are some nice games in there. Holland should easily win Group D Group E... There's nobody good there at all lol. That group could be interesting. Group F has 2 good teams, Portugal or Russia is tough to call I hope Bosnia get through Group G, the group isn't much of a challenge at all tbh, Greece and Slovakia are certainly beatable. This is Bosnia's best chance yet. We (England) should get through Group H with minimal effort And Group I is a decent one with France and Spain, would pick Spain to top it.
  24. They're still not obviously that good but still better than they were all those years ago. They only lost to Holland 1-0 home and away in the Euro 2012 qualifiers and beat Finland. They do make it a bit harder and they will most likely park the bus so it scoring the first goal early would be nice. Also the pitch is apparently shocking. These matches aren't easy. Anyway the big one is October 12th. REVENGE ON SAN MARINO. Hope we score at least 10. I might even try n go, will be epic. Could play the 4th team and rest all the prem lads lol.
  25. I remember the first qualifying match for the '98 world cup was away to Moldova. They're a bit better now but we should obviously still comfortably win the game.
