It's boring. Yesterday was the first game basically. He showed good pace, good close control, good hunger and he scored and all this was in a shit team performance with 10 men for 50 mins. Yet... he's still getting abused. If he carries on that level of performance, he'll have a good season.

I mean, usually in the post match when we lose, ppl are at their most angry as it's just happened. I like the differing levels of temper with the others who say it's ok it's a meaningless game for the 4th consecutive week.... Last season we suffered big time against Wigan and now ppl are just assuming we'll beat them easy when nothing actually suggests that we will.

Luiz showed his rash side again today indeed. Shoulda gave away a pen in the 2nd half then just kept kicking out. He goes in very recklessly and although he's a very good player, he'll always get us pulling our hair out that's for sure.

He should be playing to prove he's fit rather than staying out being proved that he isn't. He must have re-signed for a reason and that reason must have been to play. We wouldn't have done it if he wasn't ok surely. Why bring back a player and sign someone else without giving him a chance to prove himself. Maybe he should be sold or go on loan if that's the case. I too thought he could replace Terry a few years ago. I was there when we played QPR in 2009/2010 in the Carling Cup and he was absolutely immense. I wasn't really thinking if he was a RB or a CB, i just saw a young English defender who looked so assured. His knee injuries were obviously hard for him and he retired thinking they would never be 100%. He's now back, he's a Chelsea player, he has to be used or there was simply no point re-signing him. He showed me in pre season that he's fine. Come on Robbie, we have a RB already. Let him prove himself.

He's only hell bent on moving to Newcastle because we probably haven't shown an interest but i'm sure he must be good frinds with Cabaye too because Cabaye was signed from Lille too and they're both French. If he had the choice, i'm sure he'd come to us. I'd still rather get another Spaniard tho for team spirit/chemistry purposes than a French guy.

I really hope he plays at the weekend and i honestly think he will. This is surely the chance he was looking for. Against a team like Wigan, no disrespect to them but he can surely be risked, if you can call it that, against them. The lads fit, he proved that in pre season he even showed some good pace and wasn't scared to go in for a challenge. He also has a great cross for a full back. He could provide 3 - 5 assists a season if he played. I'm certain he can be good enough as cover and even sometime in the future, be the number 1. Of couse if we get Azpilicueta, that blows all that lol.

His man management skills are awful tho. He's just been a very lucky manager with the teams he's taken on. He shat on Bellamy, Adebayor and let Tevez just walk back in. Numerous players have said 'he doesn't even talk to me'. I'm glad they have him in charge because we all know the players are there for money and will be good players despite who is in charge. I could do his job.

Maybe it's only me but i thought he was good in the first half. He was shit in the 2nd because we as a team were shit and everyone was shit. He showed me today that he's a good player on the left side and can be very dangerous against a top team. We start the season against some below average premiership teams. Those games are crucial for him getting confidence and learning about the premiership.

Mancini is a crap manager and an even worse man manager. If Man City fuck up in the next 5 years, it's down to having him. That 5 year contract gives everyone else hope. Just the name of a place in Buenos Aires.

I usually laugh at overreactions but i'm really not laughing now. This is getting serious, we've lost 4 games in a row, despite them not being huge games, nobody wants to lose. Today was the real first game with the starting XI that will probably be used throughout the season against a team like Man City to send out a statement. This game really mattered to me, i love watching us win trophies, this really is a trophy, it counts on the official honours list. Pissed off. We didn't play great but we looked ok and looked fairly comfortable i thought. Hazard looked good with the ball in the first half and Torres looked sharp but that red card just ruined everything. Why his left foot was so high, only he knows. Stupid, stupid, idiot tackle. The thing that pissed me off most tho was how poor we were with 10 men, i mean we got battered. Yeah the score was 3-2 but that doesn't tell the true story. It should've been 5-1. Our defence has been shit since the first game in pre season. At least we have an easy start (on paper) to the season. We lost the CS to Man Utd 3-1 in 2010 then whipped Wigan away 6-0 just 2 weeks later winning the first 5 or 6 games. I'm not expecting miracles but we should've been much more professional than we were today. City are a dirty bunch of fuckers tho but it rattled us and we lost control. Annoying.

Mikel has had his worst game EVER in a Chelsea shirt. He's done only awful things, never seen a CDM have such an atrocious game.
