  1. Unpopular opinions... i don't really know how many of these are actually unpopular but hey ho. Margaret Thatcher RIP. Took no shit and cared about this country more than any prime minister ever. And Arsenal are a bunch of cunts.
  2. 4-3-3 is always our best way and if Jose comes back, we'll surely go back to it. Hazard LW, Falcao ST, Mata RW. I'd jizz just to see that. Would like to see Romeu back soon and see him compete with Ake for some games next season.
  3. Surely if you live 10 mins from the megastore you can go in there and ask about that, i'm sure they'll know. It is messed up though.
  4. Quality haha and look at their fixtures lmao they wont just go down, they'll be at least 12 points adrift come the end. Did you see the situation when the ref blew the whistle? Wigan had about 5 players up, they were about to win the game. Anyway bye QPR, was nice knowing you.
  5. His strength helped us a lot in this game against N'Diaye and Sessegnon. He's such a key player in these types of games.
  6. What is it with Cisse and the 93rd minute? Fucker's done it again. And Zamora's red card... what was he thinking? Really nasty challenge. COME ON WIGAN!! Finish these cunts off.
  7. Massive win and massive relief, that was painful as stabbing myself with a knife. The amount of times we gave the ball away was terrible, really horrible performance. Luiz, Mikel and Azpi were excellent. The 3 amigo's were pretty crap, especially Oscar and tbh Torres was good when he came on, he added a bit of tempo especially with his pace. He still has great pace which he showed today. All in all, just relieved to win that.
  8. Superstitious or not, i do not win bets. We have a lifeline.
  9. I would like the 90 odd quid don't get me wrong but if Tottenham failed to win, i'd also be pretty satisfied. It's win win. I put the £25 on Arsenal and Tottenham to win and i was begging for a WBA equaliser. I was genuinely pissed off at full time yesterday. I wanted Arsenal to lose a lot more that i want Tottenham to lose today. Anyway if i'm completely honest, i'd like the £90 slightly more.
  10. It gonna obviously be plain blue, as plain as plain gets, probably wont even have any stripes. Not all adidas kits have stripes. It will be like Liverpool but classier of course. Blue, badge, sponsor, manufacturer, done. That's the signal i'm getting anyway.
  11. If Tottenham win, £95 is mine so i have good news for everyone here.... Tottenham WILL NOT win today.
  12. No matter what team we put out, it will still be better than theirs and they will need either a lot of luck or a terrible performance by us like we did against QPR for them to get something. It's a nice day, a great day for football, you cannot pick better conditions so lets fucking hammer them.
  13. Still loves the club and we all love him still too i'm sure of it. Was gutted when he was sacked and watching him at Newcastle was equally so hurtful the way he was treated there, still dropping Shearer didn't help him much tbh. To see those images of him celebrating our UCL victory just bought those great memories back. He wasn't a player for long for us but he lit up the bridge.
  14. There's no way Bale will be back in 2 weeks, or 3 or 4, definitely not back at 100% and comfortable. Just look at that foot. If he comes back too quick, his foot will get so fucked he'll be out for ages. So basically let's hope they rush him back. Desperate, shit, one man team. I'm guessing we could end up playing Tottenham just before the final game, it's gonna be so huge.
  15. That's awesome and i love the David Luiz quote. Just seeing things like this make me smile.
  16. Gotta be done i guess, Did you put Chelsea to win it before the Man Utd games? I just put £25 on a Tottenham, Arsenal double for the weekend, returns of around £95. I'm gonna do this bet very much now til the end of the season just to try n secure us Champions League football. If i win, i might also put the winnings on City to win the FA Cup. A bitter loss is always sweeter with a bit of dough. I put £100 on Barca to beat us in the 2nd leg last season, man that 2-1 woulda been sweet lol but Torres' goal still made me elated!
  17. I was thinking this'll be a walk in the park but now they have Di Canio, i'm a bit nervous like i want us to beat them so much more now. He messed us up a few times in the past so i'm a tad wary now. Still think we'll win though, he can't make their players any better and if we play to full capability, we'll trash em.
  18. I also agree Bertrand had a good game too. By far his best performance for us, hopefully he gains a bit more belief in himself especially after that mazy run in the first half. He's good with the ball and is very quick, just needs to stop being so subdued in matches and give it some. He showed yesterday why we kept hold of him.
  19. Chelsea 3-1 Rubin Tottenham 2-2 Basel Benfica 3-1 Newcastle Fenerbahce 2-0 Lazio Plus the fact that Bale's season could be over... Could this day have gone any better? I know Benfica are better than Newcastle and we'd have more chance against Newcastle but nobody really wants a game like that in Europe, it's boring and i don't ever wish injury on great players and Bale is a great player but there's no denying it's a good thing for Gareth Bale to be well and truly fucked.
  20. Great performance, deserved a lot better. The tempo wasn't exactly amazing but we seemed to use the ball well and break through many times. Yossi was very good as was Torres and Mata. Lampard was awful, very strange performance by him. All in all it's a good advantage, just a shame about that disgraceful goal by them, such a harsh decision and that was the only way they were going to score. Terrible performance by Rubin, i expected a lot better. Shoulda been 3-0 or 4-1 but 3-1 will do for now.
  21. Certainly one of his better displays, very happy with him today. One thing i have no doubts about is his ability in the air. On the ground he coulda put it wide but in the air, it was only going in that goal. Fair play, Ba scored and was brilliant against Man Utd and Nando has responded. Good on him.
  22. He's quality and is a proper striker. He's shown that he'll be good for us and for the price tag too it was great business. He would have a better strike rate if he played more and stayed on too. He had a bad game against West Ham and suddenly he was shit, no better than Torres and a crap signing. Demba Ba has a lot of qualities. Glad he can rest now and unleash on Di Canio.
  23. So refreshing watching the UCL without pressure, with no English teams in it that you hate so much and want to see lose so badly that you can't enjoy the games properly.
