  1. Theres for that link, it was doing my head in lol especially as some sites suggested it kicked off at 3. Cheers, hopefully we play well with some big guns back.
  2. So much complaining lol. Joe Cole had a whole host of clubs interested in him and he joined one that is in debt and came 7th and who have a Europa League Qualifier in like 2 weeks He was never the same since his injury suffered in the USA and then at Southend in the FA Cup. He was always gonna leave us and join a rival club We have plenty of midfielders and wingers, if Kakuta gets a chance (big if), he will be better than Joe Cole given he plays a few games and finally gets a chance, he was excellent in the under 19 euro's the other day against Holland. Took his goal very confidently. We have a very good squad that doesn't need fucking about with, we nearly threw the league away because of some silly results and losing Essien and Ashley Cole for large periods. They are both fit. We won the fucking double, not like we came 4th! We have very talented youth players (youth cup winners 2010, finalists 2008). Dont be 2 faced, you're all dying to see the youth, yet u want us to spend fortunes on superstars. You can't have it both ways. Save the money, bring up the youth, keep the base of the squad with minor improvements and everything's fine. No need for anything drastic at all. Where's the weakness? there's not much weakness in our squad at all if any.
  3. I love the kit, really nice and very different. The colours go well together and i'll definitely be getting that shirt, it's lovely.
  4. I genuinely believe Benayoun is a quality player, i always thought that at West Ham and even moreso at Liverpool, a tp 4 club really (Although i'll never forget his miss at the Bridge last season). I know 100% that he'll be excellent for us.
  5. I'm confused at the reaction tbh, i'm actually very happy he's signed because i think he is world class and the type of midfieler we need at Chelsea regardless of age. This age stuff is annoying because he's still good enough and 30 is a very good peak age nowadays. We'll have him from when he's 30-33 thats hardly old. Man Utd still play Giggs and Scholes and they still prove year in, year out that if u stay fit, u can play upto any age you want and man utd have always done it. Sherringham and Giggs both got player of the year in their late 30's because they were still good enough. We've been dying for that tricky kind of midfielder who has a bit of flair and can score goals without just relying on lampard to bag goals from there. Fuck age, he will prove to be a great signing for the few years we have him and the main factor is that he's premiership proven and in a big team too. Liverpool used him awfully last season and look what happened to them. Yossi has energy to burn, can't question his fitness at all.
  6. Offsides and goal line appeals would be so easy. i just dont understand what the problem is. It dont matter how long the game stops as long as the 'right' result is made. The time added on wont be that much and there will only be like 2 or 3 of these decisions in each match. Offside iseven easier, the ball will already be dead as its in the goal, if he misses, just play on, it wont matter. Pisses me off so much.
  7. Good or bad.....who knows? No-one will have the balls to bring it in. The goal line tech which was experimented a bit (not enough) a while ago worked successfully, why wasn't it used? Because Fifa don't want technology in football, pricks. They might think about that again. There are no problems at all. With offsides, let it go and if the ball goes in, the ball's then dead so the ref can look at the screen/moniter and decide like Tevez goal or Kalou's vs Blackburn a few seasons ago when Jose looked at the moniter. the ball's dead ffs it's in the goal, look at the video evidence! With Lampards example, the ref should stop the game when the ball is in the keepers hands, look at the replay and either give the goal and go from there or say it's not over, goalkeeper can play on. No excuses. I'm well for it, it's the biggest sport in the world and it needs help.
  8. The last lyon kit is almost exactly the same as Russia's kit. The barca away colour used there is also a very famous one in their history. Used it in 1995, 1997 and 2007. It's part of their history.
  9. Noticing that we go to Old Trafford very late in the season again, might win the league at Old Trafford . December looks tricky but we have to play everyone anyway but looksa nice start.
  10. see, i hate that Rangers one, this aint 1960, its 2010 lol. I like the newer kinds of shirts, the Barca looks awful there but actually in real its more of a blue colour like they had a few years back, its really nice. Like Celtics home kit too, something different after years of like the exact same shirt lol. Puma have done newcastles kits nicely too. Liverpool's away is horrible as are both man utds.
  11. Carlo, Poyet, Eidur, Maybe Joe Cole, Tottenham is like a Chelsea veterans XI. Lots of players have switched between Chelsea and Tottenham in the past, Jason Cundy, Glenn Hoddle, Jimmy greaves, Micky Hazard and loads more. A transfer is a transfer. I never thought Zola would Manage West Ham or Gallas go to Arsenal and defo never expected us to sign Mark Hughes and Ashley Cole. Figo went from Barca to Real Madrid, Ronaldo (the real one!!!) played for AC Milan, Inter Milan, Barca and Real Madrid.... It's just business
  12. I might dub all mine to DVD too. The 06/07 DVD was shit, no FA Cup on there at all and as was previously mentioned, the yid comeback and shevas goal in the replay i wanted to see. Hmm HMV i'll have to go there, i only just bought the 08/09 DVD from Chelsea and that was 16 quid. I have the 1990/1991 season review too, quite weird watching that compared to now. I dont really like watching re runs of games unless they are full of goals or something truly memorable like when we beat Real Madrid at wembley in next years UCL final so i wont get the FA Cup one. I'll get the season review soon, bet it's a great watch.
  13. Players come, players go, it happens. Kakuta or Zhirkov (or a new signing) will fill the void so all is cool. I wouldn't boo him because he's done a lot for us in 7 years and he was used very poorly last season. If he's moving because he wants first team football, he has the right to go to any team. He wants to win trophies so he's only going to go to a rival, anyone would. He's not gonna say "ah i respect Chelsea and the fans of Chelsea so i'll go to Blackburn so i don't stop Chelsea winning the league and make sure i win no future trophies ahead of them." We boo bridge because of the Terry saga, not because he moved to man city. He still scored a certain goal at highbury once ya know.
  14. Actually come to think of it, i'm actually quite happy. Ballack is getting old and i dont think he was very good last season and is on a hell of a wage so him going was quite an obvious one. Joe Cole, well i don't think it's about money because he's either going to Arsenal or Tottenham and there's no way they will give him 100,000 a week but if it is money, he's obviously going to city or maybe even madrid if he has a blinding world cup. We used him very poorly last season and i really can't blame him for leaving, i mean even the hopeless Kalou was in the team ahead of him..... We had the best years out of Joe Cole and tbh he hasn't been great when he's played in the last 2 years or so and hopefully now it's Gael Kakuta's chance, if he is the new number 10 (that article said nothing about that) and plays a lot, he'll be one of the best players in the world in 2 years, i have no doubts about his ability. He has everything a winger could wish for. Pace, skill, goal scoring ability, i can't wait to see him back in a Chelsea shirt. And don't forget Yuri Zhirkov, he's a fantastic player and showed it when Ashley cole got injured, especially against Aston Villa at home. Altho that was at left back, he's a left midfielder by trade and given the chance, he could be brilliant for us there. And btw what's so bad about benayoun? i think he's good lol, would fit into our team perfectly. He's premiership proven, has great skill and technique and he scores lots of goals when he plays. Ok he's 30 so only has maybe 3 good years left at a push but he's extremely fit and given a chance alongside Lampard and Essien, he'll shine and become a bit of a fans favourite in a year, trust me This news wont make us worse, it'll make us significantly better
  15. We always seem to start off with an easy home game, lets get yids at white hart lane with a fully fit squad first as Alex said. We owe them a right royal smashing there.
  16. Yeah i'm one of em sadly lol. Loved PES on PS2 but PS3 just killed it and improved fifa although i find fifa boring as hell and samey samey shit. Might go back to PES soon
  17. Gutted for him because 4 years ago he missed the match against Brazil and now after what looked like an innocuous collision with Drogba in the african nations cup, he's been out for bloody ages. He'll be amazing next season tho for us, like a brand new signing. Just can't wait to see him back.
  18. That's awesome, wish i could do that kinda stuff lol. Looks like PES to me
  19. I always thought about dubbing all my season reviews to dvd and selling em because i have the equipment but my dads mate did something similar and got done for it because of copyrights and had a hefty fine plus jail lol although he made 40 grand. That's kinda how my old youtube account got deleted i guess
  20. Its like exactly the same as the black and silver from 06/07 just.... orange lol. It's like we've swapped with Cech, we've now got the bright orange and he's got the glow worm green lol. I do like it but we're using mad bright colours a bit too much nowadays i think. Not too keen on green tho, i dont mind mad florescent green but basic green, no ta.
  21. Awesome, i've got every season review from the 94/95 season onwards and i'll look forward to getting this one. Love the cover
  22. The home kit wont be worn in the UCL final if we get there tho because we always use our new kit for the last home game or final. I can't wait to see these away kits tho, we'll defo see them both before the season starts again but wont be able to buy the 2nd til just before the community shield and the 3rd in september. I dont think they will be leaked for a while yet, maybe just prior to pre season.
  23. Absolutely agree 100% After what we have achieved this season, the Champions League is priority now without a shadow of doubt. We have to get our hands on that trophy and what better way and place to do it as Champions at Wembley! It's our time now
  24. I like that red mockup although a white sponsor, manufacturer and stuff would be better. Or maybe white with red lovely stuff hehe
  25. Blimey they won the League Cup and FA Cup double 3 years in a row... wow. Good info. Maybe next season we'll do the Domestic Treble then because that cant of been done often. Can't wait for this double to done first
