  1. Torres has completely wasted his chance, he's had almost a whole year here now as first choice, injury free and now Drogba is the main man again. Drogs may not produce for large spells but he's a beast and can hit u anytime. He has scored goals even when playing shit. Torres has to wait for the African Nations Cup now.
  2. He proved a lot last night and i have a bit more trust than i did before knowing that he knows what he needed to do. He's a very intelligent man anyway and last night was perfect from him. He changes the team and shows guts and isn't scared to play about. This may not be a great year or 2 but if we stick with him, i believe he'll take us the right way.
  3. So many players were excellent yesterday but there's only 1 man that was masterful and that was Didier Drogba. He should get 100% of the votes really. Sturridge, Mata, Romeu, Ramires, Cech, Ivanovic, Luiz and Terry all had great games. The others were good too. That shows how dominant we were. Anyway. MOTM - DIDIER DROGBA
  4. BIGGIE! Bout time we won a big prem game and it's about time City got a good beating. Think this will be very hard as they are looking like running away with the league this year but we do seem to score loads against England's number 1. Need to see what we have after yesterday, if we can keep up the level of performance. We have a lot of time to prepare for the game and 1 day more than City. Hard to call, could go either way.
  5. It's exciting to see a bit of pace finally, Romeu seems to run out with the ball well and Luiz and Ramires too have cracking turns of pace. Torres is still lightning which he showed chasing down that ball when he first came on and has shown he still have the ability to take players on. Lukaku looks speedy, Ash is still quick. Yeah, we have a very swift side atm.
  6. I really hope DD stays but it seems ovbious that this will probably be his last season and Torres will be the man for the next few years. I think we bought Lukaku to replace Drogs for the long run, as u can see he's very much in the same mould but isn't the finished article yet of course. I'd like to see sturridge given a chance up top but he has been great so far where he is so i can't really see it. Torres will be the main man simply because of his stature and price. Lukaku in the future i hope will be the next big Drog!
  7. Damn, he's 31 ... nooooo Happy Birthday tho
  8. Best defender in my lifetime, probably Maldini. The guy was simply born to be a leader and to defend. To be the best defender, you have to be solid and quick and to play as long as he did at the top level was a credit to him. Legend.
  9. Just like watching Chelsea of old. Solid, strong, ruthless, excellent. Made Valencia look like a poor side and hopefully now this sets us up for the remainder of the season. Drogba was a fucking beast last night, thought i'd never see that type of performance again but proved me sooo wrong. He is the main man, still and i really hope he doesn't leave because when he's feeling good, he's the best, even now. Unstoppable. Other stand out performances were Romeu (again), Sturridge (again) and Mata (again). And of course our back 4 and GK were brilliant too. Great all round performance by everyone and ffs we even topped the group. HAPPY!
  10. Exciting, he's got the right players too. TIME FOR BIG CHANGE!
  11. The useless one is going, wohoooo *jumps for joy* Actually kinda obvious tho when he was taken off that time after half hour lol. Should go to like a Ligue 2 side like errr... Monaco.
  12. Luiz is suspended right? Would be interesting to see Luiz vs Balotelli. I do like Balotelli tho, i hope he becomes a great player with sod all success like Batistuta.
  13. It can only really be Bosingwa - Ivanovic - Terry - Cole tbh.
  14. Boring draw, complete boring. Wanna see teams that i've never seen us against before like Dagenham or Tamworth lol. City vs United is awesome. Arsenal vs Leeds .... they always seem to get them. Forest - Leicester & Birmingham - Wolves are good midlands affairs.
  15. We all know we'll make heavy weather of any group we're given. I think we'll struggle to get out of this group, genuinely.
  16. Just fixed my paypal account and donated.
  17. Sad to hear, a real legend of the game. R.I.P
  18. Ok, i heard about this yesterday when i got home. I was stunned because you would not associate something like this with him, it's completely messed up. I felt really upset. He was on Football focus just the day before, watching that on youtube feels really surreal. I'm with warnie on this tho, i don't wanna start any arguments or any debates but suicide is the most despicable cowardly thing you can do when you have a wife and children. How dare he do this to them, he's ruined the family and their lives forever now, no fucking excuses for suicide. No matter how bad things get, suicide is NEVER the right thing to do. It's a tough world, we are here to deal with every joy and every pressure. I always had great respect for Gary Speed but now i don't know what to think. I can't believe that he really did this to himself and his fans, friends and family. I've never been so shocked at a piece of news ever in my life. Tragic and very, very strange.
  19. I don't give a shit who starts up front, both are playing shit so both are equally wank at this present time. Play both I just want Romeu to play and cement a spot because he aint had a bad game yet and should carry on until he does. Mata and Sturridge i'm sure will play. Think we'll win this, got a good feeling for some reason.
  20. Wow, some cracking grops there. Spain with Italy (And Ireland lol), Germany, Holland n Portugal together, love it how portugal get tough groups all the time rofl, they got Ivory coast and Brazil in the World Cup. Make no mistake though, our group is FAR from easy. We have Sweden who we aint beat for like 40 years discarding that pointless recent friendly. We have Ukraine who are at home, hosting and beat us 1-0 a year or so ago and France who are in transition, but a good transition and we always struggle to beat them. They fucked us at Wembley last year so easily. Maybe revenge for Euro 2004. This looks like being a very exciting tournament indeed.
  21. The premiership was a hell of a lot weaker in 2001, they could come back. Today, when u find yourself in this position, there's only pride to fight for.
  22. Nervous, got some epic flight back to Heathrow very soon, i hate flying.
  23. Great news, i was at the QPR game in the CC a couple seasons ago and he got motm. He's good enough and wish our defensive bollocks atm at CB, he will be knocking on the door in the not too distant future, just hope he can get back to his level and progress. Brilliant.
  24. Damn, i better look for that tree. still....... I saw the score n went Then saw the Arsenal score and went Could be worse, it was experimental and was only the CC but a bad result nonetheless. Pretty fucked off tbh
  25. Torres was actually looking somewhat back to his best until he was dropped. Was excellent against Man Utd, Valencia and Genk. Drogba has scored a couple but looked completely disinterested and Lazy. Despite Torres' shit scoring record for us, he has looked good, just his goalscoring is the one thing he is judged on. He's missed many many golden opportunities but at least he's always there. They will turn into goals given the pitch minutes.
