Good half and great to see Danny banging more goals in for us. He's been excellent. Also Torres has been fantastic with the ball, he's got his first touch and his dribbling skills back to its best it seems. Good half of football.

Really wanted to see Drogs n Torres together but looks an interesting team except Kalou being there.

Lukaku and Sturridge up front would scare a few sides.

I reckon PVA could be a good LM but maybe he can. I reckon Sturridge and Malouda will be our 2 wide men for this season tho. Like Robben & Duff, 2 lefties switching wings here n there causing defenses problems. Kalou can sit n watch... Maybe we have a wide man lined up? Maybe an improved offer for Modric? Whatever happens, we have £13.2m more than we had yesterday. Lets bloody well use it.

I believe we will come 3rd behind the 2 manc teams. I hope not but i would've predicted something similar to be honest. Think Man Utd will win it. Man Utd are a bit weak in the middle of midfield tho which is an area to dominate against them with a bit of power. We need to improve our wide play and i believe Danny Sturridge is the man for this season.

Yep that's Yuri gone. Didn't really get many chances but really helped us when Ashley Cole was injured for a spell in 09/10 after breaking his foot against Everton. He covered well but really that was the only spell he really got in the team. Never heard of Anzhi Makhachkala (thank u whoever created copy & paste) but good luck to them and to Yuri. I think his name gives that away. Wiki = McEachran was born in Oxford. He began playing football for Garden City F.C. in the Oxford Mail Boys League, where he was spotted by a Chelsea scout. He then joined the Blues as an academy player at the age of 8 and rose through the ranks while juggling his academic responsibilities at Marlborough School in Woodstock. I'd be surprised if that wasn't true but he certainly has some Scottish blood. The most important thing is that he is and will forever be, Chelsea & England

I would say i don't care about winning but because they beat us 2-0 in 2007, it's only fair if we get our own back In an ideal world i'd like to see a 4-3 or something just for some excitement as long as our defenders don't get shaky for the Stoke game. I'm hoping it's easy to get a stream for this too. Should be a quality weekend of football with the Manc Derby too. Might be a bit feisty that one.

We already have new players anyway. Torres, Luiz, Ramires, Benayoun, Sturridge, McEachran and Romeu. Ok the first 6 aren't new as in bought this summer but they are effectively going into this season as new players. This is their first main season.

So we're still going for strikers when that's the one position we actually have fully covered? ok makes sense. Stupid story anyway.

He's got to stay for a bit longer because his experience on the pitch is vital. He was good in the Asia Cup with his vision and simple things he does so well to control the game. He can't do a lot of what he did 3 years ago but just like Scholes, his experience is huge, even as a squad player. His time is almost up and lots of games seem to be passing him by now but he's had a sensational Chelsea career and has made a great impact in Chelsea's history Frank Lampard, Chelsea Legend.

Looking forward to this game because of the relationship between the 2 sets of fans. Would like to get a bit of revenge for 2007 when we lost 2-0, also Rangers have looked a bit crap at the start of this season. Is there any chance of this being on TV? That Villa performance was awful yesterday, another boring McLeish team. We played freely and embraced it whilst they just played it scared of getting hammered. I hope we can play to that level consistently but we had the same squad for most of last season and our performances were not great except a few sparks here n there. I remember when Scolari was here, we beat Villa 2-0 and looked like the best team in the world.... then we were shit from then. Anyway true.. It doesn't say we will not sign players but i have the feeling we wont. A few of our players need replacing, it's obvious to everyone what we need.

Really what all Chelsea fans were waiting to hear. I'm buzzing for this new season now, can't fucking wait.... The one plus is that Drogs is staying. We were brilliant yesterday against a worse than shit Villa team. If we don't get rid of our shit and don't sign anyone (The 2 we have signed don't even count so don't try that one), we aint gonna improve on next season but we may be struggling to qualify for the UCL. We won't play like we did yesterday against a lot of teams. In the counter argument, i'd say that Sturridge, Benayoun, McEachran, Ramires, Torres and Luiz kind of count as new signings so we can look at it both ways. I've basically just argued with myself, what a ... The more i think about it and write what's on my mind, we might actually be alright but we need our wide men to perform. We do really need another winger, however.

It's pre season so i just want to see our new players ... oh shit, nvm. Err i just wanna see Torres look sharp and score a goal or 2. Winning would be nice but i just wanna see a good all round performance against a team we tend to do quite shit against. Looking forward to it.

Pastore will choose at the end of the day. Paris or London? Ligue 1 or Premiership? Chelsea or PSG? Both teams will fight for their respective titles, PSG are loaded now and we can't just say it's for the money because we can offer huge wages too. He may just think the French league suits his style of play and Paris may be of his liking so you just have to respect his decision. Ligue 1 is a comfortable league to play in. The easier life i suppose. If his representatives are coming to London, something may of happened on the quiet, we can hope. My concern is that AVB thinks we have a good squad and he's happy with it. I think we're at least a playmaker and a winger short as does every Chelsea fan i think. I'm concerned for the upcoming season.
