It's not dodgy shite. Clownlake said "we give the player for three months" the other side said no. But I doubt AEK money was enough to get them a better deal (always assuming the player is of some value).
-
It's like I said above. Of course it may be due to AEK being a poor house but the reasons for the collapse were as I state above. £20m do not exist to buy the player. The discussions were about a loan.

Chelsea wanted Fofana to start in two thirds of the matches or there would be a punishung clause doubling the price. Also to take him back in January if they wanted. It was impossible with these conditions.
-
Bajevic was good enough for Brian Clough's Forest those years. Also Mavros and Nikoloudis. But the rest were third division players and Mimis Domazos at the age of 38 was in his last days.
-
AEK Athens they 're pulling peoples legs. Do you remember Souriak ? In 1984 they told us he was coming to AEK Athens. Then on the last day they said he traveled to Gevgeli border station but had forgotten his passport !
-
Did we sign him ? All these days I believed it was about Fofana the defender. Is Datro Fofana any good ? He was n't even given a trial match for CFC.

Harry Maquire to captain the defense: https://www.sportbible.com/football/england/breaking-england-republic-of-ireland-team-news-lee-carsley-715961-20240906?fbclid=IwY2xjawFI9M1leHRuA2FlbQIxMAABHVp_h66gBe_DjgoF_jdjvY2ZHNwv_85du3_IOpOl_uc9nn7FD3ZN7Q3F6A_aem_KIMqGbZb_GNpgKLs1Mpe8A

Fraud gone, I forgot. Madueke player-manager is the best idea.
-
Fraud against Rep of Ireland. You reckon he wins ?
-
I can understand this downward slide for a team without sufficient budget. But is it possible that we are in the midst of a gigantic fraud ? Works like this: Jackson's fee for example was reported as 32 million pounds. But was it ? Maybe the fee was 10 million but the rest 22 million was pocketed. And so on.
-
Jackson is the equivalent of Remy, Diego's substitute. Nkunku is not even half as useful as his former playmate Timo.

We had Thiago. When a player like Thiago Silva is gone you search around, But also something is the problem with the defense as a whole. They don't take proper cover positions - they allow free runs. So if you allow any two bit opponent easy access to your area, one day they are going to score. The 6-2 against Wolves is a blinder and it certainly was n't a job done by the defence. Could have been 6-3 in the end.
-
Mudryk's problem is he is blind,
-
Sanchez was executed from point blank range four times, including the two disallowed Wolves goals. He is to blame -somewhat- for the Kovacic goal against City.
-
Mudryk made some good runs early in the game but gradually faded - Sterling is much better for that sort of thing. Our second goal was a moment of inspiration by Sanchez really and we walked out of prison. Then the defense was no good again but in the 2nd half Madueke won the match. After the 4-2 Wolves naturally gave up the ghost.
-
I called the Chelsea goals.
-
Madueke the new Zairzinho.
-
Final score: 7-6.
-
Everybody is trying. Even Mudryk, But at the back it's panic stations. Should have been 5-2 to Wolves.
-
It's Arteta's year.
-
I wanted the double Celta Vigo - Brighton. When you don't bet they win !
-
I liked Joao Felix. He was a victim of the great purge after the Potter season (Kovacic - Kai - Ziyech ...). I believe he's going to do better this time.

There are the unintentional hand balls. The record case was in one Chelsea v. Man. United at the bridge. Terry heads the ball and it's going straight in but it's stopped by the arm of a United player. Only the United player was looking the other way when the ball found him. It was not given - we did not even complain about it. Then they started giving all and sundry as hand balls. Liverpool - Spurs champions league final, the 1-0 was one such - unintentional hand ball given as a pen from which Pool scored. Now it's "we the Vlachs, when it chances". So we have to take Kovacic to the Yard and if he confesses then it's a pen. What about the free kick the citizens stopped with theIr hands last season. That too was n't ?
-
Are you happy with Nkunku ? I was the first who spotted him -privately that is- when he was playing for Leipzig and I was when happy Chelsea began negotiations. Slight worries because Timo Werner came from the same team and he did n't make it, but I dismissed those. Now he is not proving a new Diego. Jackson is a new Remy or a new Bats but where is Nkunku's scoring
