After J6 we expected Trump was over and done with. Later he announced his intention to carry on, so we thought he was going for a Ross Perot like third party, no rep after trying to lynch his own vice president and all that. Later again we expected he could not win the nomination for the republican ticket. All these expectations proved wrong and by late 2022-23 he was really back. So the Dems should have tried to adopt a rep agenda on domestic issues by as much as possible but they did the opposite.

Romania - Kosovo strange ending. It was 0-0 in the 93d minute and Romania wins a free kick. It took a little time for the game to restart because the ref was cautioning players and it was the 94th minutr plus, a little after the end of the four minutes of extra time, when Hagi for Romania was about to take it but the ref. blew the whistle for full time. There were protests because that was premature. Now livescore says 0-0 and "ToFi" instead of "FT". What does it mean ?

That was the craziest Pasok propaganda you ever imagined or heard. She is a legend of course. But the Greek radio and television company ERT are stupid people. While BBC collect all of their old time goodies and have opened an e-shop from where we can by cassettes and videos, those fools throw everything away. If anyone had recorded the Sperantza programs he could make a fortune. Those gems are lost.

Zelensky lost 20% of his territory. Managed so far to slow down the Russian advance who initially wanted to take all of Ukraine (don't forget that the first battles were in the outskirts of Kyiv). There is no way of defeating Russia. The only way to defeat Russia is to attack from many fronts, from Ukraine - from the south - from the arctic circle - from the pacific. That is a NATO job and it's world war III. So better negotiate peace. He may get back 0% from the lost territory but I don't see how he can win even with additional help. But he may also get something back in exchange for the lifting of the sanctions against Russia. Netanyahu is a different story. Abandoning Israel means new Taliban - Israelis at sea if they survive. That's how our <<beloved>> Palestinians and Iran play. Internally Trump I don't know - given that from 2017 to 2020 before covid the Americans liked him. The only thing I feel sure about is his more money promises, golden spoons etc will evaporate soon, even if he actually believes he can do such things.

Someone reminded about the previous Trump presidency. He said up to the covid epidemic Trump was infront, that is February 2020. As I remember now that is correct. He was infront in the poll or slightly infront. Of course I expect his "money exists" story will fail like all "money exists" stories.

Arabs always existed in Israeli land. But The term Palestinian is a relative newspeak. Adopted after the seven days war of 1967. Find me a press excerpt from the war of 1948, the Suez conflagration of 1955 or from during the seven days war where the term is used by somebody. However that may have been so because of interArab disagreements. If Nasser acknowledged an ethnic identiy he 'd have to support them economically and he did n't want to. He wanted to defeat Israel but not acknowledge an ethnic identity until reluctantly he did.
