Some of them departees are good. Willian too escaped the selling list in the shadows of the post. We thought "well that means at least Messi-Neymar-Ronaldo are coming" but ... we can't even beat Stoke. The management is a shambles. It's not a good management even if what they want is to sell out. Hazard should have gone last summer to Real-AC Milan, whoever has the dough. Now you will get less.

Yeah. I remember when they wanted to sign Brian Clough in Greece. Cloughie said "my contract looks ok but team budget ??". When they said "ahemmm, just a little", he replied "I 'm sorry".

Without Hazard nothing was going into their area (never mind he does n't score goals). The Everton keeper did not even have to stretch for the entire match and I don't know what happened after the 2-0 because I switched off. Some dangerous crosses we attempted but the defenders cleared and their keeper was never involved. Was Hazard injured ? Willian tried all he could and I don't see why he was subbed. He did n't look tired or hurt, we were not about to park the bus. The substitution did not affect things defensively but I still don't get it. The season is gone. I don't see how we can finish above Stoke, 'pool, S'ton, UTD and UTD are 7 points clear. But the prospect of Europa does not excite me either. We will get to play one or two worthwhile opponents from April next year and afterwards. There is nothing to prove there.

Lukaku as well (we have pepper, we put on the cabbages).

There goes 2015-16.

The law block in the 0-0 against Atletico in Madrid worked brilliantly. In that match we did not even visit their area - only the Luiz free kick towards the end. You win in the swings, you lose in the roundabouts. It's a derby match and one is not entitled to win all derby matches. But I 'm generally unhappy first because we won't see CL for the best part of two years (and are we going to see Europa ??) and second because even if went through against PSG, the pundits say we were good enough only for Wolfsburgh.

The world's gone potty. Fantastic run by Cuadrado down the right flank, under extreme pressure, dummies opponent, passes to Dybala, superb volley, Juve 1 up against Sassuolo.
-
Mou was heavily criticized for playing like that last year, when PSG were left with ten. Anyway, they scored against organized defense - or what looked like organized defense. They did not break away. In my opinion chance playead a big part. Chance might have favoured Chelsea - like in the 3-3 against Everton in the league. PSG were better though especially in the 2nd half of the first leg.

Could have easily gone the other way round. Remember the 1-0, 2-2 against Barcelona and draw comparisons. But they are a better side and most certainly better than all the teams in the premier. We have numerous problems. If someone back in June 2014 were to close your eyes and then open them again and you saw Fabregas and Pedro in the team, would you not say to him "what did you do ? you took me to the gooner stadium ?". Hazard is nearly as likely to score as Courtois-Begovitch. Defensive errors like Isthmian league. The transfer window action says it all. Pato is not even a "winter coat" - he is a sick old man by the looks of it. Where is he ? Was he lying in hospital bed when we bought him ? I 've seen that too happening once and the player in question became a great player, but it's the only explanation other than they are pulling our legs.

The defense had day off. We don't score such easy goals against anyone.
-
The Greek speaker said he saw no movement off the ball from Chelsea.
-
Oscar misses in Paris - they score. Willian misses here - they score. Luck is always on their side. But we are behind in relative terms now. Hazard poor, Fabregas-Pedro well ...
-
Still all to play for. Link for the 2nd half: http://webtv.ert.gr/ert1/ (no ads - it's the national tv)

Courtois is young. One of the greatest Greek keepers was Stelios Serafidis. He became a legend and also came back at the age of 40, one year after retirement, when the new keeper was injured and again excelled. He became that good at the age of thirty ! Before that we were saying "when will he go at last ?". Then under the great German-Hungarian manager Jene Chaknady a complete transformation took place.

Ake the Watford full back on loan from us looked useful. Against Stoke there was too much laxity in defense. PSG look to have taken time off too, 0-0 against Montpellier.

Cannibalisms with the mind on Wdnesday.
-
I mean Guus.
-
Why not Bruce ? Is it he is considered too old to be a permanent manager ? I don't as a matter of fact see any better around.
-
Deliberate slow motion against Norwich. With Ranieri out of breath only Spurs now play a little. The others are 1/2 - 1 class below Chelsea. Pity - we shed so much tears in these boards - worse than 1978 when we were totally depleted and relegated. ps: Pato ?
-
Cech will win the title you mean. Both are woeful imho, but is n't the United price an attractive one ? In the first round at the Emirates as I remember Utd were totally useless and succumbed after 3-4 minutes.
-
Man United - Arsenal 3.50-3.40-2.25 Tottenham - Swansea 1.45-4.50-8.50 Discussion MU-Arsenal: The two rags. Looks good the MU price tho. Spurs-Swansea: 1.45 only for the Spurs (-1 at 2.20, -2 at 4.00). Looks useful for live bets only.
-
It's alas poor yorick if we do the same fluke against PSG. Desrver victory should have been 3-1 or 2-0.

Yeah, but ... The guys with big pockets we 've seen were quite a few and they come and go. But Real is forever. There are fashions that come and go. In the seventies there was nothing to do on a Sunday afternoon. Bayern visited once and played against a team I don't like. Someone said to me let's go and I did in the end. Nowadays impossible, only if I was a dedicated supporter - season ticket holder. So there is less money around I guess, plus people cannot afford owing to the crisis. But then again money appears again from some other source. Why is it that Madrid can do so well and we can't ? We have shops, we hace support that is not dwindling, what else is needed ?
-
Real were always buying everything with two legs. Where do they find the money ? I mean Spain is not even the richest country of Europe these days. The only lame duck period for RM I can recall was the late sixties-early seventies. Barcelona too of course in the last 10-15 years. But CFC is also one of the teams enjoying high levels of international support. So why are we left behind ? They talk of Hazard like as if he is a great talent that suddenly surfaced in some small village far-far away and so he is naturally theirs.

He was taking pens for Atletico. Scored against us, made a show as well because the penalty spot was not painted well enough !
