He definitely should have scored there. Would have been a really good goal.
-
Go ahead buddy
-
He looked really happy and excited. I know it may not mean much to you since you come from the land of great Euzebio , but i think his teammates were giving him a strong moral boost cause as you know this is the first Egyptian to play for a top English team. Hopefully not the last
-
He played well considering this is a brand new team and players barely know each other. A good match for him but he could have done better.
-
He could have scored atleast one more.
-
Don't you just hate it when it is your turn to be the goalie? That's how I feel. Unless I am tired then I would be more than happy to take someone's turn too
-
Oliver Kahn would be my 2nd, Peter Schmeichel definitely my first
-
wow, now that is rare

Lol. Chill out dude. Drogba is a human not a religion

I agree mate, I have been watching the EPL since my math teacher told me about Eric Cantona's kung fu kick. I was 15 yrs old ( good old days). Till now I have been a fan of the EPL and have been following all of the teams. Not closely but you know what I mean. How competetive the league is changes alll of the time and quickly. There was a time when the spanish league had deportiva, valecncia competing closely with barca and real. There were times when Batsituta' Fiorentina was competing with Milan and Juve and Udinese. There was a time when man was competing with Blackburn and Newcastle. And It changes all of the time. Chelsea became a regularly competetive side when Roman took over. City when that sheikh took over and started pouring millions. Liverpool have been out since Ian Rush. Arsenal's golden days ended with Henry, Ljungberg and Pires and only starting coming back recently. It is all very subjective if you know what I mean mate

Mate with all due respect and I mean no offense at all, but based on this deduction/conclusion the English National team would be the GREATEST by far which is not the case. How competitive teams are in a league doesn't necessarily mean that the league is better. It depends on the style of play I think. The EPL is fast and most matches are played openly. You have to admit that in the tactical aspect the EPL is not the top league out there. The Italian league will come first. If you are talking about skill wise, then you will find ALOT in the Spanish league. After all the MLS has been very competitive same as the Ukrainian yet that doesn't really mean anything at all. They are more competitive than the EPL.

Dude you talk about La Liga like it is some amateur league. It has some really good sides in it. The EPL is stronger, but the gap is not that great like you seem to think.
-
The only thing I disagree with you here, if I may, is the point about Hazard. He is growing by the hour, but he is yet to show his consistency. But as far as talent I agree.
-
I expected that comment when city equalized....sorry mate

Not really below par. He is till young and has massive talent. Hey I remember, Ronaldinho having bad months during his prime, Drogba, Zidan, Brazilian Ronaldo, even Messi and Critsiano. I would understand people wanting to see more of him and they want to see him at his best all of the time. But whether we like it or not, he is only human
-
But it was only Schurrle who made the runs in the second half, unless I am mistaken? Oscar was more defensive

But do you think there was a significant change in the players' performance or was it because the game changed tactically after we scored our first goal?

Well I understand why you would say that and I do respect it a lot. But we pretty much dominated the first half as far as I remember. I think it was only Dempsy's header that posed some threat ( but still of target). Their midfield and defense were just a mess.We constantly put presssure on therm, forced them to lose the ball quickly and create nearly no chances. Torres should have scored at least once. I just think that after we scored our first goal, Fulham was forced to open up because of their critical position in the league table and with their weak defense we were able to exploit the gaps they left behind as they tried ti move forward yet failed. I think the only player who improved in the second half significantly was Schurrle, not because he scored three times, but because he made great runs and created space for himself. I don't recall any great difference in performance from any of the players. I am not saying they were bad. I am just trying to say that they were good tactically from the first half but it all payed off in the second. I might be wrong but that is how I kind saw it.

I completely understand. But with Europe in an economical bottle neck and the Euro is facing critical challenges more than ever, the total political failure of the Iraq/Afghanistan war and major U.S deficit, the hostile situation of Pakistan cause of the U.S drones, the edgy situation of Iran and great instability that is increasing in Turkey, you think defending Ukraine will be a simple decision or an automatic response from NATO, USA and EU? It is not going to be that simple mate.

I am no politician, but judging from history I can tell you that the scenarios are very limited, It is either going ti be the same case as with North Korea, where Russia does what it wants and the U.S and UN condemn and ask for sanctions. Or Russia would back off on some sort of an agreement that maintains Russia's interests. But no way the U.S would go into war with Russia. Not at the mean time. Remember that China is a force there and it is watching right now. If you follow, the U.S news, there is no way they would be going to war especially that they just ended one in Iraq with a lot of losses and a lot of arguments among the public opinion and media. They can't risk it at all. Things will unfold as time progresses but remember that sometime the mobilization of forces doesn't necessarily mean war is about to break. It can be only political maneuvering. If a war would break through it will be Russia vs Ukraine. Everyone will then watch an ask for sanctions on Russia.
