  1. Sounds logical. I guess we will have to wait and see. But either way, 3 nil should get the job done, though it will definitely not going to be a walk in the park.
  2. I wish we could get over and done with over there. 3 goals would do fine. But the players must show up mate. You think you would be offensive or play on counters?
  3. But we can agree that it will be one HELL of a game though .
  4. Dude you gotta chill out and start using your brain a bit. From all of what has been written in the forum regarding the matter no one attacked the Turks, they only attacked the stupid behavior of some Turkish fans and that is something you shouldn't be bothered about. Nobody is attacking a country or a religion. I know how passionate football fans are in the Middle East, but you have to admit that the way they support their football teams is radical. It takes the beauty and sportsmanship out of the game. Such acts has gotten people killed for A GAME. Same applies in parts of Latin America and other European countries. You know yourself how it is in your own Turkish league. I don't care if it is politics, revolution or even patriotism. It is wrong and the word barbaric doesn't even describe how low this behavior is. I don't know how many are stabbed other than one that is a friend of a guy here on the forum. And you know as well as I do that the Police doesn't really have to confirm anything if a report is not filed. Chill out, it is a game where the players themselves who struggle, get physical, injured win and lose shake hands at the end and swap shirts. If they take it as a game, then fans should too.
  5. But if they crowd the midfield it might get quiet tricky. Are Luiz and Mikel definitely out or are they good to go?
  6. Agree with you but then comes the debate of customers satisfaction, added value of the end product, market demand and saturation and foreign and domestic competition and all of which would benefit the economy and would be ( idealistically speaking) reflected on society and individuals . That is one thing that I hate about economics man. It has a lot of assumptions embedded within it. Not as simple as 1+1=2
  7. Well either way that should be quiet an intense encounter tomorrow. At your stadium you will be fighting for a strong result against one of the best defensively organized team in the world and with real venom on the counter attack. Gotta watch out Lions cannot be tamed mate. Certainly not our lions
  8. You see buddies both what you are saying is correct. It is VERY subjective. You cannot pick a system over another and make it a universal one. It must sort of mixture between both and how much capitalism vs socialism is being applied again varies from a county to another and a sector/industry to another. Just try to think about other 1st world countries. Some are surely better off with less government intervention, while others require more intervention, possibly to aid a certain sector or solve a social aspect. A very healthy debate, but again due to cultural differences and a variety of human and social needs, is very subjective.
  9. Many of Galata fans suggested 2-3-2-3 formation though. Eboue will be benched?
  10. So who are your best starting 11 for this match in your opinion?
  11. You know what mate, I am really thankful, for referring a book to me and that video too. I am going to watch it sometime today after the Champions League matches. I appreciate it mate
  12. The Muslim world right now are like the Christians during the medievel time. The persumed religious man would mislead the poor and the uneducated to satisfy personal needs under the name of God and salvation. That is exactly what we are going through. I am a Muslim but I have been called an infidel by such extreme groups, just because I said that we should pray for mercy for our late Christian Pope Shunuda like we pray for mercy for Muslims
  13. The problem is the west don't get that my friend. Do you know that the radical Islamists in Gaza are killing muslims in Egypt in the name of Islam now. Every day there is some sort of an attack. I would understand if they fight the Israelis because of the long conflict. But they are focusing their attention at Egypt cause it was their best chance by far to start their Khilafa ideology. It is soooooo sick if you ask me. But unfortunately the west don't understand that and they are debating democracy. With all due respect, if democracy is going to bring murderers to rule Egypt and wage wars against our own people and other nations, then screw democracy at this time. I would rather have someone who is not a Muslim build Egypt economically, socially, and scientifically than a radical so Muslim who is willing to destroy it under the name of Islam.
  14. You see you are right that the haven't practiced 100% capatalism and neither does China practiced 100% socialism. It is the way you approach each of them. If you don't pay attention to the very high competion in capatalism you will end up with unempoyement and what results from it socially and economically. You don't pay attention in socialsim to the necessity of competion and efficiency and welfare spendings you end up with exactly the same results. Extremes are always bad in every aspect in life philosphically and practically speaking in my opinion. Balance is the key apraoch
  15. The problem with the so called brotherhood is that they have been misinterpruting the Muslim Holy Book which is the Quran. They came through deductions and very narrow sighted analysis of the early days of Islam to something called the Shari'a law. Basically a set of laws that they claim are in the Quran based on their understanding. Their goal was to re-establish the so called Khalifa. Basically what that means is the union of all Muslim countries under one " Chosen" leader. They will try to seek that by any means necessary even if it means killing not only the Christians and the Jews but other Muslims too. That being said I want to clarify that there is no such thing as a clear economical model in Islam, but rather broad lines, like caring for the poor which is I know from reading the Bible that is in Christianity and Judaism. So whatever claims they promote are not accurate and are so much debatable withing the Muslim world and the Muslim Scholars.
  16. I really feel you on that matter. When Egypt first became a Republic after removing the King in 1952 we became a socialist country. At that time Egypt was stable and we had our major conflicts with Israel, the UK and the U.S for different reasons. Hence we were by default with the other super power at the time " The Soviet Union". And because the Egyptians suffered so much from inequality and poverty during the King's era socialism seemed great. Provided equality, free education, free health care and even redistribution of land for the poor people. Backed up with the very high patriotisim at the time, due to the conflicts and Martin Luther like powerful speeches, we were not able to see the problems that came out of socialism. You can not deny the fact that human nature is key element. Though correctly, like you have implied, socialism provides equality and economic independence for nations and individuals, it also promotes redundancy, inefficiency and masked inequality. You see two people working the same job at the same factory, company etc, one working hard and the other slacking yet they end up with the same wages at the end of the day. On the other hand capitalism promotes free trade, free market, high competition and very high efficiency. And that leads to what is reffered to as econimic equlibriums of the market. But as time goes, it creates a social gap, eliminates the middle class, makes the poor poorer and the rich richer. Not to mention stupid decisions in the banking system that lead to a world recession. The point is both have their positives and negatives. And again I have seen the negatives of capatalism in my country too and surpisingly in 1st world countries like the U.S and the EU. and the problems will keep increasing. We cannot be blind pal to assume perfection in either one. But I think we need to either come up with an entirely new economic system or use both at different levels. Take the Obama Care for example, that is no way a capatlism idealogy. It is more of a socialist approach to solve medical issues in the U.S Again it will have have its positives and negatives. If you look at it from the point of people who can't pay their medical bills and are having major problems with insurance company rates then it is a positive. You look at government spendind versus taxes it is a negative. I am quiet sure you are well aware of thoses debates . My humble opinion is that you need both bro to co-exist in different levels depending on the society, the economical performance and the different sectors'/industries' performances. But above all dpendind on what the people need to have a proper and a better life for themselves, their parents and their kids. Sorry if I wrote too much but I found the topic really interesting.
  17. Ok. But as far as I know Mikel and Luiz are questionable. Matic not available. So who would play other than Ramirez?
  18. This seems like an interesting topic and your point of view is very interesting too. If you don't mind I would like to know why you like socialism and not capitalism?
  19. Well you shouldn't. Chelsea is a team of 11. And whoever puts on that Chelsea jersey is a lion stalking preys and ready for the kill. We will get the job done and we have more than one lion that can do it. If I were you, I would be really worried when playing against the Blue Lions. You do not play well against a team who knows how to attack. When you faced such oppenents your nets conceeded a lot of goal. You should be concerned about your defense and your offense.
  20. Reminds me of Beckham's return to Oldtraford and Ronaldinho to Camp Nou
  21. Mate I agree with when you say stop calling Turks kebabs and mongs etc. However you seem like a guy excited by the intimidations and stuff. Vandalism isn't part of the game though. Threats aren't either. I understand playing mind games, putting pressure on your opponents or whatever. But come on, threats and vandalism is hardly excitement. I just hope we would see a good match and as a Chelsea fan I hope we win.
  22. I hope they would react strongly on the pitch
  23. I completely get it man. But honestly I have no clue what gets people to that level. It is a game. I have been watching soccer ever since I was 9 yrs old. I love the game. Loved the challenge and the thrill as a fan and as an amature. Loved winning and hated losing. But never to an extent to "kill" or "rape" opponents or rival teams. Such behavior reflects a lot of sickness in people who take it to such extreme low levels.
  24. That doesn't sound like football no more. Strange how violent people can get over a football game.
