It will not be easy either way. We have to show heart and character. I am optimistic

I am worried about the midfield man. It is the type of game where you really miss Matic. I think Mikel should do fine in the defensive role though as a hold up player. This will allow either Luiz or Lamps (who I doubt can play the full match) to also have a more aggressive offensive approach. The thing I really want to see is Willian in the no.10 position. That last game he was terrific both offensively and defensively. I think we need to use that form and momentum to our advantage. I would hate to see him on the wings after Stoke's performance.

Can't really see us playing in this formation. The team is not used to out and it is a totally different system mate. Also I cannot see us playing with Luiz only in that position because their midfield is no joke. I know we need goals, but we should approach this game with calculated risk. If things are not happening for us by the last 20-15 mins then by all means we will push aggressively forward with high risk of leaving our defense exposed. But surely not from the start of the game. If we are to win this game, we need to dominate the midfield area and have constants offensive support from Azpi and Iva. We have to approach it in an offensive mentality but cautious too. I respect your opinion though mate.

That is why I said I give him the benefit of the doubt. But you should read how he responded to that Well it is just one of those matches that will be really exciting and tense. Good luck tomorrow. We will be ready for it and will play with a different approach compared to our last game.

True, everyone gets defensive man. The funny thing is that no side has the complete truth and knows it all. Just nonsense man.

I think it will be better of we stick to football. Leave countries and nationalities out of this. Sounds good?

I will give you the benefit of the doubt. This is very rude and unacceptable. Please watch your wordings.

Seriously people need to learn how to talk to each other. Going at each other makes it a street fight, or a childish act. It is such attitude that doesn't allow us to talk properly and reach solutions. People need to know how to put an argument rather than insulting each other and whining.

Why is that? How many different nationalities are there in both Chelsea and PSG? You can not be serious

I know for a fact that he has more qualities but needs to work on them, like dribbling, passing, finish and final touches. And like you I hope the kid would only get better. Never the less it is really tough. On a couple of interviews he mentioned without going into details that he is under pressure. I can assure you it is not from Chelsea, the players or Mourinho. He is only 21 one. But while we are at it, what would you like to see more from Salah? The areas you would like to see improvement and the type of player he should be?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jy-2aaiETWo Mohammed Salah's Stoke City post match--Arabic. He said he was happy because of the team performed and the most important thing for him today was the three points. He was then asked about waht was his feeling when he knew he was going to start. He said he was told that he will start a day before the match. He tried to relax himself and not get too tensed about it but what is most important is the 3 points. Then was asked about the instruction given from Jose, he said that Mourinho told him to play his game and try to enjoy it as usual. The question about him being useful for the team next year was repeated AGAIN. Salah responds by saying, he hopes to be able to help the team because it is a tough competition and they want the title. Then was asked about how he sees the PSG game. He responds by saying that they play different at the Bridge and much better and he have faith that Chelsea will win and get the required result.

Like you said it is really up to him. If he feels that he is better than our strikers (which is the case in my opinion) and that he should start and play regu;arly then he has to fight for it. He has to force Mourinho to respect his game and his qualities. It should not be hard for him judging on the competition he has. Also Jose is in a very stucky sitation regarding our offensive approach. I hardly think any manager will bench his best striker to play the expensive useless one. But the kid has got to fight and show character. Pre season should be enough for him to prove it in my opinion.

The guy asked him if he remembers his beginnings..He replies he remember everything since he used to play on the streets in a small village called Basyoun. He is then asked about his first goal and transfer to Switzerland. He replied that he was happy there and the environment was calm. He thinks it is a good place to make a transition from Egypt to Europe. He is also asked about the Liverpool transfer, he said that subject is over and he wouldn't like to take in details about it. But the club officials showed him their offer to buy him and they were laughing at the offer. However it wasn't because of the money that he didn't accept. He said the moment Mourinho called him and told him that he fits the system and has a future in Chelsea that was enough for him to change his mind despite the talks with Liverpool that have been going on since October. He said that the reception when he arrived to Chelsea was great and he appreciated how the team and staff welcomed him. He was asked about the Arsenal goal and what was going on with Mourinho. He said that before he got subbed Mourinho told him take to take it easy, and play his game and feel no pressure and this game is perfect for him and he will score. He was asked about Mourinho saying that Salah will be an important player for Chelsea next season. Salah said knowing this makes him happy but he is not going to wait till next year. He said he knows that Chelsea is competing for the championship and he has to fight to be able to help the team this year. Who are the closest players to him in Chelsea? He said Luiz, Demba Ba and Hazard. He added that the players in Chelsea are great and he watches them all in order to learn from them since that they are experienced players. He needs to monitor how they react in different situations (game-wise) and learn from them as much as possible. The rest of the interview he is asked about the national team, the failure to qualify to the WC and his closest friends in Egypt and who he thinks are favourites for the world cup. He is asked why other Egyptians failed playing in Europe, he said that is none of my business and he is not entitled to speak about others. He is asked what is a players greatest enemy. He replies not believing in himself, not working hard and always trying to blame it on others and luck. That was two days or a day before Stoke game.

You just have no clue the thousands ( if not millions) in Egypt who wish such a thing could happen mate

TalkChelsea Player of the Year 2013/14
Mohammed Seif replied to BlueLion.'s topic in Matthew Harding Stand
1- Hazard 2- Azpilicueta 3- Cahill -
Well I hope that is better. Thank you buddy

Not enough minutes for Chelsea, but I hope to see one soon

This guy's performance is really solid. He was all over the pitch last night. He made a strong run from defencs all the way into the box of the opposition, dragged with him a defender that was going to try to close down Wiliian as he took his 3rd goal shot. What he does with the ball and with out it is massive. One of the backbone players of this team, and one of the most important side backs for years to come.

Dude you are seriously awesome
