Well sounds very reasonable. You gotta agree though that the "glimpse" of talent is very relative and vague. It can mean quiet a wide range of things. So it can apply for playmaking, dribbling, technicality finishing. He has definitely played better in the first half of the season and his form is low, however does not mean that he has no talent or hasn't showed any "glimpse". Maybe not the talent you are looking for.

A very expected line up, though I was hoping for Luiz and Schurrle to play a role. Especially Schurrle
-
Absolutely not. I don't know if my point was redundant but anyways. Do you think players, especially young ones, get to their top consistent form all of a sudden or the moment they step on the pitch. Everything has a cycle. You must know that. I am with you that a fan should be always demanding more for the sake of the team's success and glory. However, maybe a bit of reasoning will help. Especially that we are not the type of club that is ready to pay a lot of money to buy to start replacing players. We are not Real Madrid, ManCity, PSG and the rest of those clubs who are willing to over spend

Sure it does answer my question. It is only that I see you a bit aggressive when you criticize the players who dropped form. I guess you don't tolerate that much. Not a lot of patience

I am just curious mate, do you actually like anyone in Chelsea?
-
Dude chill, you drew at your home stadium "Hell" or whatever. Now you are at the bridge. If I were you I would be more concerned. Optimistic, but very concerned
-
Mata was on the bench before he left to ManU. So his departure has nothing to do with Oscar dropping form
-
I would definitely like to see Schurrle make a lot of forward runs and creating problems for their defense.

I don't think a club would buy a player to stop him from going to another club. In this era the financial aspects are very important. Chelsea can't afford to just throw money away. I think they bought Willian cause they needed him. Maybe he hasn't reached his potential, or maybe he was overrated. The only one who can really tell is Mourinho. It is all speculation right now. Usually players take about a year with their new club, (not to mention a new country and a new manager too) to start having real impact with them especially if they are young. You might be right that he was over priced, but again no one can really tell at this early stage.

Even if Salah was eligible, he still wouldn't have played. Maybe he would have been on the bench though. But if he doesn't play much with the team in the EPL, I don't think he would be playing in the UCL

Optimal line-up opinion?
-
I agree that he needs to get involved with the team more. He was actually going to be subbed in against Villa and was warming up, but after Willian got sent off, Jose signaled him to get back on the bench. I don't think he will start next game. Jose will think it is a big game and we can't afford more bad chemistry. My best guess is that he will be on the bench and maybe take part in the second half. I think Shurrle is in better form as far as team wise is concerned. I think he should start and provide us with penetration runs. But then Hazard and Oscar/Willian will have to be sharp to pick him out with good passes in order for us to see him threaten the goal or create chances.
-
I think Schurrle should start this game instead of Oscar
-
I also thought that Fergie did his best so his successor will have a good squad to start with. I just can't get it.

How can an entire team drop in form?
-
We really have to focus more on our games and not pay much attention to other rivals. Maybe they would drop points maybe not. Does it really matter right now? What matters to Chelsea in my opinion is to really fight hard to get the maximum points remaining in those coming fixtures. If rivals drop points, then great. If not then we gave it our best for this season ( where we had no expectations).
-
Man you can feel that he REALLY WANTS TO EXPLODE. Smart thing though that he kept it calm. I just really hope we take out all this frustration we had from Villa and put a good performance and a good result against Galata
-
Nope, was a starter for by far many of the games in his games, hence the Swiss award. Again I didn't give him that award
-
Salah was a not an impact sub off the bench. Salah was a starter
-
I wonder what will the posts be like if our goal was counted, kept the same performance and won .
-
I think FIFA gave him that award not me
-
Schurrle for Oscar maybe?
-
Mate you seriously need to know the difference between being tough, physical, a cunt, and being just a bluntly dirty player. You are mixing things up. Got no more to say
-
Ok. Not to compare teams or situation or even the money of purchase. You have got Willian, first season with a new team, high work rate, not enough in the final third like you said. Neymar, best young talent in the world, first year with a new team ( that actually is very mature and can feed him with a lot of balls), high work rate ( according to Barca's system), not enough in the final third too. My point is players need time to adapt to other teammates, new managers, and clubs. Not saying he will improve, and also not saying he will not. But give it till next season
-
OKKKKK. Are you implying that Jose needs mercenaries on his team? . Cause that ain't the case. Mata and KDB were sold cause they are "nice" guys or cause they don't fit his system of playing? You wanna compare the tension in the top rival game in the world to a match between chelsea and villa? Mate come on
