He is absolutely our most important player. When we need someone to make some magic happen, we all call on Hazard. He is our most important player. Sometimes, people are just plain wrong. 3 or 4 steps? Absolutely not. Kalas is our future. Oscar is incredible. Hazard is a future Ballon d'Or winner. Seriously, I don't think you have watched Eden this year, he's had maybe 3 bad games, if that. He is key to our attack and the guy we look to for some magic late in a game.

Sure, they don't measure intangibles and whatnot, but they can give you an idea of how effective a player is, to completely dismiss stats because football is so "complex" is ridiculous. I know you don't like stats, but they use them in basketball as well, which I think could be classified as "complex". They serve a purpose and are very helpful, and despite what you think, I'm sure clubs pay attention to them.

Maybe some players wouldn't get hurt from the tackles Reus got, but they were not soft tackles. An ACL tear is unavoidable, players are more susceptible to injuries after an ACL tear because they put more pressure on other muscles. If you're putting MVg and Reus in the same boat as Diaby, Ramsey, Thiago, etc. You're crazy and there is no arguing with you.
