  1. I'm not a fan of the three names that have recently been linked with the job. Nothing would stop history repeating itself were Tuchel to be reappointed.
  2. Quick reply from Leipzig. Game on again!
  3. It's hard watching these sides in the TOP division. Yoyo sides should be banned from getting promoted for a bit.
  4. It's hard to think of anything positive Onana has done since making the switch.
  5. The more he talks, the more I want him gone. As I mentioned in the matchday thread, he's not up to the task of managing a side wanting to fit for honours.
  6. It wouldn't have surprised me. They only had one shot on target prior to their winner.
  7. I was literally about to write the same thing. Some coincidence (scoring after the allotted time), eh.
  8. Palmer's shot effectively won the corner, and he assisted Disasi. No idea why we have had this mindset for seasons at this point to just stop attacking after taking the lead; it's infuriating.
  9. Another cross. They've hit the post twice now. Palmer's chance aside in the second half, this match should be wrapped up.
  10. I was referring to Poch. The team back then had completely different expectations to begin with compared to this one. As I said prior to Poch's appointment, what has he won of note? Nothing! We really shouldn't be surprised by how our season has gone.
  11. We've been vulnerable to crosses all season. Mr Reactive makes changes now. 😑
  12. Palmer on his strong strong foot. Chances like that HAVE to be going in.
  13. He didn't choke a PL title race, so a slight insult to Ranieri.
  14. Poch's reasoning recently - 'They need to feel the pain of not playing': Pochettino on benching Mudryk - Football | Tribuna.com
  15. He's just not cut out to be a manager of a side with any real ambitions of winning silverware. That's why he fitted Spurs like a clove.
  16. He brought it with him the moment he walked through the door. This is what he had to say after last Sunday -
  17. Chalobah playing in the starting XI ahead of Mudryk and Sterling. I'm tired of this nonsense. We could be playing 3 5 1 1 or something similar, but formation aside, Poch should be embarrassed by his choice, especially considering the opposition.
  18. Not to all, thankfully. If there's any weight to the comments his brother made in the past, this is probably payback in its own way.
  19. I highly doubt it will be. Even if it's changed to a year or two, though, his career hasn't been the same since he left Juve. When will players learn that the grass isn't always greener elsewhere?
  20. I see the chance you're referring to. He had two noteworthy opportunities to end the game either side of that point, but I suppose a player of a higher level of GK is more aware. Mudryk's goal tonight was almost identical to Gallagher's attempt, which struck the post. Fine margins are the difference between failure & glory.
  21. All I can think of is - what might have been had Gallagher done the same thing on Sunday? Leicester awaits in the next round. We'll probably struggle again.
  22. I still can't believe a decent stint for a relegated French side has earnt this much time at the club. A host of Italian clubs would take him for peanuts.
  23. No clue with dumb & dumber making decisions. There's still thirteen league games left, so pride and playing to finish somewhere respectable is to play for.
